Awesome little pub in the heart of Norwich. Celebrating a bit of history on their walls as well which I personally love to see and enjoy reading. This was a quick lunch stop with my wife on our break from work and couldn't of been happier with our choice. A very basic menu served and cooked extremely well had us both feeling very satisfied. Staff were helpful and smiley and good came out in 10 minutes or so. I had the grilled chicken burger which was covered in cheese and sauce with a delightful hash brown inside. My wife had a rice bowl with some home made fried chicken which had me feeling jealous even though my meal was great. The chips were really nice too and it was nice to not see the standard frozen one that most places seem to serve these days. All in all very pleasant experience, and seems to have a lot of events going as well and we may be back for the comedy night later this month.

Bouncer on the door on Friday 13th December is highly abusive and caused an unprovoked attack due to someone having a spilt drink down their front, they were refused entry due to having drink slightly down their jumper and when asked why the bouncer became aggressive and gave the person in question a black eye.

Incredible. No notes, amazing pub and amazing food. Gluten free was handled so well without making it a problem and with kindness.

Have been in a few times over the last couple of months, mainly for music and a few beers. Large outdoor seating area where they held music/ bands. Ale selection is good, staff are friendly. Tried the food for the first time on Thursday, had burger and dirty fries. Service was quick and quality was very decent at a very reasonable price. All food was lovely and fresh. Noticed they also served several takeaways while we were there. Will definitely be taking advantage of this in the future when unable to get to the pub in person.

We didn't eat there, just popped in for a drink. The atmosphere was great and the place was buzzing.

Been a few times now and the food, beer and service never fails to impress. The curried goat and jerk chicken are just amazing. You literally dance while you are eating it is that good! Recommended!

Bought a round here today, barman pointed the POS terminal at me so I couldn’t see the amount and now see I’ve been overcharged. Annoying. Get the basics right or the last pub standing won’t be standing much longer.

Nice pub in the heart of Norwich. Well price beers, nice outdoor beer garden. Loads of events throughout the month (almost one every 2 or 3 days)

Great range of gigs and also really amazing food - had a jerk chicken roast dinner which I've never thought to try or have before and it was fantastic. Will definitely be back for another

Loved the atmosphere and the food was tasty however it lacked vegan options which was disappointing. Id come again though, was a great atmosphere.

Been on two occasions once for a party and for a roast. Both had great gluten free and veggies options and the food was fantastic. The buffet provided for the party was great it was miles better than your standard buffet food and there were options for everyone. The Caribbean twist on the roast dinner was amazing, and the sides were excellent. Great value for money. Staff we superb too.

What a pleasant surprise this was! I was in the area for work and stumbled upon the high ratings of this pub kitchen so I gave it a try. A decently priced, well sized portion of really amazing Caribbean food. We had the curry goat (amazing) and the pork belly (also very very nice) with roti and a side of Mac and cheese. The service could be a little bit better, we came in asking for a table for food and they seemed confused by the request and were not very welcoming despite it being a pretty slow night.

A nice bar we stumbled across. I want to come back and try the Caribbean menu. There was lots of listings with varied events.

Beer was decent nice selection and loads of seating outside. Music at the time was a little niche

I seem to be at odds with other reviews but my experience as follows. Bar staff very unwelcoming no customer contact experience. No ales on offer only usually commercial gassy lagers at high prices. Rear yard taken up by an event. Front outside seating unusable do to sewage smell. . High price , unwelcome and smelly. My experience

The BEST meal ever! I had curried goat, hubby had belly pork, they were delicious. Staff and ambience really chill. Highly recommend.

The food in the last pub standing by soul kitchen is absolutely delicious, the food is first class. The staff are lovely. I highly recommend you book a table such a lively, fun atmosphere this is my second meal here and the food is always superb and reasonably priced too! Inside it’s so cosy and warm old traditional pub! Love this place highly recommended!

It cost me £6.40p for 1 pint and in the pub down the road it only cost £5

Our last night in Norwich and wish We had found this pub earlier. The staff were brill . Food amazing ( so different from the norm). The jazz funk band were so amazing . Who needs Taylor Swift ? Those guys deserve the price ticket charged for her concerts . Accomplished musicians . I personally couldn’t understand if the guys knew it each other or not ? They all seemed to come together at various points and look like they totally gelled. 🎷 🥁 🎸

Busy night, but the vibe is so good.

The Last Pub Standing is a very cool bar/pub in the centre of Norwich. The staff are friendly and there's a wide variety of drinks, from their own draught beer to tequilas and session IPAs. Every time I go there is a live band playing and it adds up to the lively atmosphere, which is great for begining a night out or just relaxing in a lively venue for the evening. My 4* rating is due to the price of food, which is very high and doesn't seem to reflect in the quality, although it isn't necessarily bad. Overall, I like this place quite a bit and I can't recommend it enough :)

It was a quiet night but exactly what I wanted as I was having a catch up with my sister out side space was also really nice ♥️

We we entered the place was busy and the atmosphere was brilliant 👏🏼 funky soul was being played by an older chap on 12 " lps! There was a mixture of age groups. They were serving food, we didn't eat, but it looked amazing! Only stayed there for a couple at the end of our night. Highly recommend! Loads of seating, especially out the back area.

Another place that caught my attention on Google Maps. This place was busy as we got their serving lots of cocktails too, didn't have to wait long though, and plenty of places to sit. On this day they had a DJ playing old vinyl records and very groovy music that reminds me of the 90s. We didn't try the food, but as it was coming out it all looked good, busy for food so it must be. We'll happily call in again as we visit Norwich

Had a really great experience today. Went in for my work leaving do to have some food and drinks and the staff really went out of their way to accommodate the fact I'm a ceoliac. I had booked but it hadn't gone through and usually you'd need to give 24 hour notice if you're planning to dine as a ceoliac but they went out of their way to make sure I could eat. Which was fantastic service. Especially because I am pregnant so was starving. The food and service were great and the prices were very affordable. Will 100% go again.

1st visit to this pub, we came for the reggae night, brilliant atmosphere, never felt overcrowded, friendly staff and very reasonable drink prices 😀 plus the music was awesome 👌

Very energetic environment and can enjoy live music. Centre of town can access easily.

Fast becoming the place to be and be seen in the fine city, the fantastic range of drinks is complimented by a fantastic range if events to delight a wide range if audiences. Live music, poetry slams, chess nights burlesque and some of the finest food you can wrap your chops around. The garden area is great for summertime drinks and there are rooms upstairs available for private hire too. Just mind that step!

This establishment is a complete joke. Never had a worse experience in my life, The staff are so unprofessional and especially the bouncers. Particularly the middle age woman who wouldn’t give me her name and her ignorance was uncanny.

Best pub in Norwich, hands down! Drink selection is brilliant (love that they do Jubel), the food from Norwich Soul Kitchen never disappoints, and there is a great veggie selection on offer. Lastly, the events they host are just amazing! It's a great place to go even if you're not a massive drinker, since the events vary from music events to poetry sessions to art classes

Jerk chicken n chicken wings very tasty. Ordered ginger beer aswell when i looked at the menu online was in bottle ( very excited to try ) but i got it in cans ( bit sad ). Overall very good 5⭐️ Still 🥰 TA xx

The service, atmosphere, and hygiene is one of the best out of all the pubs in Norwich The staff behind the bar are lovely and friendly and there is loads of heaters in the outside area too making it comfortable and warm in winter. My favourite bar tender is Rosy, she is so cool! Food is also good

Popped in for a bit of lunch, the stuffed roti were definitely stuffed! Full of flavour and tasty meat. Definitely will try larger plates next time!

It's one of the nicest pubs to hang out in when in town. From Zouk to Disco and down to reggae, dub, and amapiano on select evenings, LPS is surely a place to visit to unwind, dance, and make merry with friends. They have also got a friendly atmosphere with their sitting arrangements and also a beer garden at the rear where you can smoke and dance away the night as there's a DJ out back to drum beats out through the night. Did I mention their food? Quite awesome!!! Had to order a second serving of their pigs in blanket with chips in a special gravy sauce served very hot!! Last Pub Standing is a great place to be with friends and make merry.

I booked the upstairs function room for our Christmas party on 8th December, ordering items from both the traditional and Carribbean platter menus. The function room was ideal and made for a nice cosy atmosphere. All of the food was spot on! I couldn't fault any of it. The service was equally fantastic. I would happily book a party there again...and will also be going back for a drink!

Amazing food best roast Norwich!!!

Roast was very delicious and reasonably priced. The beef topside was well cooked and the jerk chicken was well spiced and offered a bit of a twist on a usual roast dinner. Included sides were delicious and plentiful. We were surprised it wasn’t busy at all on a Sunday afternoon! Only one star deducted as unfortunately the pudding (sticky toffee) was very dry but perhaps just a slightly overcooked batch!

A solid and reliable choice for a pub. It has a nice outdoor seating area at the back and a modest selection of ales & larger. I don't come frequently because of the distance but always enjoy a pint here whenever I get the opportunity to step in

I came to this pub to do the fundraiser treasure hunt. I have never walked past the pub but will certainly come back. Cosy pub in doors and huge seating area outside. Reasonable costs for drinks. Pleasant staff.

It's a good place to hang out with friends. You can eat, drink, and dance . I enjoyed the elderflower cider 😋 😀 . The customer service was topnotch.

In Western Australia we haven't experienced much Caribbean food so I ordered the rum and pineapple pork ribs with rice, slaw and salsa. This was the best tasting food I have had in a long time. DJ playing in the beer garden set the mood along with a NZ Sauvignon Blanc. Life is good.

Pub is greatly improved, worth a look again if you've previously dismissed it as being a bit sketchy. Sadly still close to prince of wales. Food looks great, interesting variety of beers and great cocktails.

Although we visited during a quiet period it is clear that this pub has plenty going on. There is a really nice ambience and the video screens give you a good insight into what is on during the month (street foods, parties and DJs mostly). I'm looking forward to returning in order to try the curried goat! Edit : managed to get back to try the food. I went for a 'filthy' burger and fries which were beautifully seasoned with enough of a kick to make me want to order more drink, and my wife had the curried goat....which was well worth coming back for, the meat was tender and the curry had just enough of a kick to retain its flavour whilst not being so hot as to burn your mouth. A real treat.
