The Beehive in Sheffield

Called here for a couple of drinks the other night. Staff were friendly enough and service was fairly good. Drinks weren’t too badly priced.

Peroni flat as a fart asked for a head on my beer he tried but sorry very bad drink buying premier beer you expect a good it was served in a pop glass my husband had to a Carling glass it then actually looked liked a half

10/10 service, a local pub in Sheffield and it’s on of the best pubs I’ve been too in a long while, polite staff and good showings of sports, Charlie and Tishaun are well known for their classic service and outstanding pints

Good drinks at decent prices, had sports on tv and pool tables available.

Plenty of screens to watch sport. Affordable drinks. Friendly staff. Sheffield is a gem to discover.

Visited on a Thursday evening, was a little quiet but bar staff were friendly and was a nice visit.

Massive sports bar. Clean, friendly and good beer. An array of large screens. Special offers on student nights.

Rude, arrogant and ignorant bar staff. A wonderful combination of zero manners and slamming drinks down in front of you plus the delights of huffing, puffing and knuckle dragging made it a total delight! NOT! Great pub awful staff. She was wearing a multi coloured woolly hat and obviously hated working there and boy did she show it!!

Called in for a drink on a Thursday lunchtime with my husband. No one in but us. Ordered a drink and went to play a game of pool. When I asked the barmaid if she had a chalk I was gobsmacked by her answer. She could only give me a chalk if I left some form of ID with her behind the bar which she would give me back when I returned the chalk. Said it was company policy as chalks go missing. I just laughed at her. I told her I was 58 years old and I wasn’t going to steal the chalk and we were the only people in the pub. We finished our game of pool and left. We went to the Cavendish next door and they took our money for drinks and pool. No charge for the chalk! We would have had more drinks and played more pool but this was ridiculous. Chalk costs £3 for 4 of them. If they wanted to save money switch off one of the many TV screens as no one was in there. Or was this just a scam to get information from your ID. Something very dodgy going on or the place is so desperate for cash it can’t afford chalk! Won’t be going in there again.

Waiting ages to get served couldn't be bothered with waiting for a second drink. Poor management road to ruin and will be blaming everyone else when it shuts

A little 💎. Absolutely gorgeous food and friendly/welcoming staff. Myself and my husband called for late lunch. We decided on, The big boy beef burger and Sweet chilli Chicken Wrap, both meals were cooked to perfection. I went for chunky chips with mine, the best chunky chips I've ever tasted. Both myself and my husband will definitely be returning. 10/10 to the chef! We enjoyed our food sat outside in the sunshine.

At the end of a hard, laborious Tuesday (21st March 2023) I endeavoured to spend my duly earned schmeckels at the esteemed establishment of the so-called "Bee-hive" in Sheffield (West Street). I'm not sure if you've had the chance to look at the attached photo of the thought-provoking and creative pint of San Miguel which I was served but it was - it pains me to admit it, most abysmal. This was extremely unfortunate as I had been craving the golden nectar since the crack of dawn. It was certainly not the kind of head I was looking for on a Tuesday evening and I would be - quite frankly - daft as a brush to return unless a bartender worthy of pouring a perfect pint stumbled upon the occupation. However after expressing all these views, I must admit the muses of song blessed my ears with the finest melodies there was to offer, exempli gratia Bohemian Rhapsody by Queen (the Band). Nice relaxed pub enjoyed our Sunday afternoon visit.

The beehive is a fanatstic place to eat and to chill, the staff are fabulous the food is fabulous and the price is amazing too. Love it love it love it. Will we go again yep definitely and they are pet friendly too. ❤️❤️❤️❤️

Great food, cheap price clean and quick with service

I visited The Beehive on Tuesday on a random visit from Derby. Upon arrival it appeared to have everything you could ask for in a pub, food, drinks, TV’s for sport, gambling machines and a bit of music. I visited in a Tuesday evening so it was literally empty meaning I really didn’t get any atmosphere and it wasn’t a great pub to just sit and have a pint in I’d of preferred more a traditional pub to do that in. (Not the pubs fault) I was happy that the bar staff were friendly and sold 2 craft ciders although, I’d like to see more in future, I can certainly recommend many different ones as Liley’s are so widely available and expensive. Please don’t take the 3* as I wouldn’t visit again, I absolutely would. I think it would be a great laugh with a group of mates with football/boxing on, I will be back. Thanks for your hospitality.

Visited the Beehive for the first time in about a year. Was previously a regular sports club member at the establishment for university. Welcoming environment. Brilliant food & a wonderful refreshing shandy to top it all off. Many thanks to Amber and the team for looking after me and the girls. Will see you all again soon for sure!!!

Lively venue karaoke and great place to get drunk

A nice pub on West Street. I came in and had some questions about some of the food on the menu, so the chef, I think her name was Lauren, came over to help us out. She was lovely and helpful, and when my food arrived it was delicious and exactly what I wanted. The vegan burger was excellent. I will be coming back.

Went in the other day and felt right at home and was welcomed by Katie! She already knew what I was going to be drinking which is rare to find these days! Can’t fault their meal and a drink offer and they have a fantastic beer garden to sweeten the deal!

We pre ordered food as we were a party of 16 but it was a bit disorganised. No table had been arranged and as there was only one oerson serving it took forever for everyone to eventually get served. One of our party was still eating as we started to leave. Food was ok

Nice pub but wholly different from my last visit over twenty years ago when it was a typical student pub.

Beehive is a very welcoming pub. Katie with the blonde hair and pink highlights is a top lass, best barmaid in the world!

Three time’s lately I have been in here & the Guinness is bad either go to cans or change the line , good pub good atmosphere friendly staff .

Great value and friendly Our son is in Sheffield childrens hospital and this has been my bolt hole on several occasions during our tag time for our breaks I’ve been in solo last few weeks and always felt safe and welcome. Today I came in with my husband and we had 5 plates £11.50 Fresh hot great presentation served by a lovely young man tall slim dark hair Thursday 18th 2pm Lovely service great value food in better times we would be watching the footie here or play pool. Good city centre pub, great for sports

Well priced for the city centre, good outside area and a nice selection of drinks.

A good little pub with a great pint of John Smiths and quick service, good seats by the window that was good for people watching but the music was SO LOUD!!!! it hurt my ears, still a good pint but I think was trying to get the young students in on a bank holiday Friday night.

This pub is in the Sheffield Heritage pub guide but has a large "could be anywhere" interior. Lots of TV's. It was busy as a televised game had just finished. Serves big portions of food. Not my kind of venue but clearly popular. Had a pint of Adnams Ghost Ship. Very good.

Love this place! The lady behind the bar this afternoon Tuesday 28th March (although she’s served us a few times before) was polite courteous and always serves us with a cheery smile! The Chef is fab! Food cooked hot and to perfection every time thank you Beehive thoroughly recommend!

Normally go here on a Saturday lunch time with my other half for a few drinks and something to eat, friendly staff behind the bar and I would definitely recommend the food it's well priced and delicious, has plenty of TV screens and show a wide range of different sports , it sells a good pint of San Miguel and overall is a nice place to go and have a relaxing time.
