Very delicious burgers and the only thing that missing is draft beer!

Food was great as it always is. The problem was the bill. It came to us with a service charge of 8% optional already on the bill. They never asked me so I asked for the service charge to be taken off the bill. It made me feel pressurised into paying for it and when I said no the waiter didn't know what to do. He eventually did, but it left a bad taste in my mouth. Sorry about the pun.

Burgers tasted funny didn’t eat

Came for my Christmas works party, and the food was amazing! Everyone had something different, and everyone really enjoyed theirs. Amazing combinations for food and drinks. I never thought I'd see bacon in a glass of rum, but I'm a fan now! Also, great espresso Martinis!!

Amazing burger, I had a Oklahoma Dirty Boy well done and it has to be the tastiest burger I have ever had the pleasure to eat 😋 HIGHLY RECOMMEND 10/10.

Been here many times before and it has been spectacular. We travel for well over an hour especially. Had a table booked for 1615. I arrived on time and a couple of my friends arrived 10 minutes later. No problem here. Mains were served promptly and were delicious as always. The issues came after. We were kept waiting for at least 40 minutes after we had finished to be asked for dessert. At this point we were told that we only had the table until 1830 and it was 1805. If someone had come earlier we would’ve been done in good time. Anyway we ordered 3 sundae’s and when they arrived they looked nothing like the ones we’ve had previously and we had pictures of some the last time we came. It looked as if they were just slapped together in a rush in order to get us out the door asap even though we’d spent well over £100. This was a birthday meal for my 40th and although it started off great it wasn’t the best of endings. The pushiness to get us out of the door could have been avoided if we were just seen to earlier. Come on beefy boys… you can do better than that.

First time visiting the Shrewsbury one as i normally go to Herefords. Great food, as always. Everyone was super friendly. We had a young lad in a red top serve us and he was very good, attentive & checked in enough times to check we were ok etc.

Ahhh Beefy Boys, we were so excited you were coming to our little town for the Christmas Lights switch on, we were prepped with your trading times, you were in Newent between 1pm and 7pm, locked into our plans. At 6:15pm we walked up your truck and were told you had already called last orders 15min prior. How very disappointing, if you were going to stop serving at 6pm, just say so, we would have planned accordingly. You were the main reason we walked into town tonight, all the accolades and the smell from the truck were too good to miss, unfortunately we did, but I don't feel it was our fault...

Good food but not overly welcoming! Booked a large table for family meal, had to email to book, few back and forth emails from different people but eventually got a table confirmed. It did mention giving card details but never had a request. I called to confirm the booking around 10 days before (just to double check!) all fine. They then called me 5 days before to confirm booking, again confirmed, and no mention of card details. Then got a text the day before asking me to confirm. To my surprise when I walked in my booking had ‘automatically’ been cancelled as I’d not given card details - I said this was odd as I’d not been asked and I’d confirmed the booking 3 times, one within the last 24 hours. Showed the women my text but she was very dismissive and kept saying I’d not provided card details. She walked off and spoke to someone and then said she’d ’see what she can do’ not what you want to hear when you’ve got 10 hungry family members stood behind you. Eventually came back and said ‘you’re lucky’ we have a table. Not the comment or tone you’d expect when you’ve confirmed a booking 3 times, no acknowledgement of any inconvenience for me and had I not been with a large group I’d have turned around and left!

Food was top notch service was top notch.. food was very expensive and I don’t like the way they add an 8% service charge to the bill we are not living in the US

Burger and loaded fries - unbelievably nice! The brownie was average. Dry and just not good at all - not just my opinion either. Also, why just a brownie and no other desserts on the desserts menu? Service was quick and friendly, very good actually. I would definitely come back again but please improve the brownie and put more than just a brownie on the desserts menu.

Food and service was great. Could do with some draught beers, even if it was just one lager.

Went out with some family and friends. I had never been here before despite walking past it many times when I come to stay in Shrewsbury to visit my family. The service was excellent!! Matthew was amazing and provided us with the best care. He was so helpful and friendly. The food was incredible. So much flavour and filled me up completely! We were served quickly and given enough time between starters and mains. I will beg my uncle to take me here again when I visit Shrewsbury! 10/10 experience. Slay x

Easily one of the best burgers I have had with lots of options, including how the patty is done, toppings of course, and the bread/bun. The selection of sides and drinks is numerous. Prices were reasonable considering the quality of the produce clearly being served. Service was great. Prompt, chatty and friendly. The venue itself is nice and has a great atmosphere. Plenty of space. Only wish I lived closer!

I agree with most reviews, the burger patties are good but a meal is not about only one ingredient. Unfortunately the rest of the meal was way off the mark. Buns were burnt, fries were overcooked and cold, and the burgers came swimming in grease. Worst of all service was impersonal and often waiters were vapid. If they insist on including the service charge in the bill, then as a customer I insist the staff make more of an effort. This experience was bad enough to prevent future visits or recommendations. Expected way more at this price point. Do better!!

Good food if you like burgers, which luckily enough is what we went for. Have to say the coleslaw was very tasty as well, and the chips, so yes good food all round. We have done it now though, so doubt we will be back. Staff were friendly and efficient, but the table was a bit tacky.

Food was good but very greasy, and the cheese slab was a waste of money, just a slab of hard cheese the size of a small pizza that's too hard to eat. Staff were amazing though for people with allergies etc

Amazing burgers with a huge amount of choice! We had the pastrami boy and the blue boy with a side of poutine fries and all were delicious! Also the salted caramel brownie was so tasty. Refillable drinks are also a bonus! Now I need to return to sample the rest of the menu!

Great staff, overpriced food, everything is an expensive add on, small portions, sticky bathroom floor, sticky table, Good luck finding the loos by the way Fancied a shake as a treat but at £9 I gave it a miss

Genuinely the best burgers ever had! Phenomenal! I had the chilli burger it was wow. We also had a shake, the brownie dessert and ice cream, the brownie biggest dessert ever had anyway. Worth every single penny. You will never go back to 5 guys

Skin on fries were not that ,they were just fries , chicken burger was not seasoned . We spend over £ 50 and I wished I'd of gone to Macdonald's to be fair . We travelled 1 hr 50 to try it out too . Gutted

It is THE best burger joint I've ever been to. Twice in two months, once to try it out and again for my birthday. I've tried several of their burgers and each was amazing, the pastrami topped burger was a WOW moment, it cut thick and soo tender/juicy. Chef's kiss. I'm not one for fries so I tried the chicken tenders (sticky soy ones) and my son who's a fried chicken guy said they were very good, I agree. I'll be going back and will try new options because it's one of those places where anything will be a good choice. To top it off, the service is very helpful without being too in your face. Top marks!

This place was mental. I’m here to talk about the burgers. Mental. The grind of the two cuts (chuck and brisket) ensure bold beef flavour from the cuts’ fat and beef, was incredible. The cheese was creamy, smooth and powerful. Beef dripping onions are sweet and meaty. It’s the best burger I’ve had, I’ve been about a lot, bit like my Ex. Honestly, just go to this place. Coming back up from London again soon.

Last year it was the best burger place hands down . Now the meat is different little crunchy hard bits in the patty like cartilages everywhere . The last 2 occasions were the same . Not sure I wanna go again .

Finally managed to get to a Beefy Boys after seeing their burgers on various media. Needless to say I wasn't disappointed. The Beefy Boy burger is 👌🏼 The Blue burger was very good too (yep.. had 2 🐷). Poutine could've done with more gravy though. Looking forward to my next visit 🙌🏼

The Beefy Boys lived up to its name! The food here was excellent the burgers were truly like no other. I feel exceptionally beefy after that meal and can’t complain!

We had a table booked in advance before arriving at the restaurant for a friend’s birthday. Straight after we had finished our mains, the server explained they had a table coming in soon, I said we would like to order desert. Whilst we were waiting for the deserts, another server came up to the table and said they had another table coming in 20 minutes. I bluntly replied ‘we’re waiting on desert’. After literally just finishing the desert the first server approached us again and said the people having our table had just arrived. Overall, I found this just to be really rude and pushy. We’d spent over £100+ in the restaurant and it just ruined the experience for us. The time we spent in the restaurant was an hour from when we entered to when we left, so it’s not like we were talking our time. Shame really, as the food was actually really good.

This establishment is becoming a staple of Shrewsbury, superb eclectic burger selection cooked exceptionally well and highly customizable. Employees here are very polite, efficient and quick to come to you, which is lacking in a lot of places ! If you like burgers and not tried this place, do it... It will not disappoint

The best burger we have ever eaten. Succulent beef with a great sauce and accompaniments. The staff were very friendly and polite and the service was efficient.

Quick service. Food was delicious. Only downside was that there wasn't any chicken strips available. Food was limited for small child.

My wife and I along with another couple stopped in on a Friday just after opening (around 12:10). We were greeted and seated by friendly staff. I mentioned to our server, Jodie, that we were in a bit of a hurray to catch a train. Jodie ensured our order was taken and served promptly. We did not feel rushed and the various burgers and fries were superb. A really enjoyable lunch experience and we will definitely return.

Love it. It's my go-to place to eat when I'm in Shrewsbury.

We drove a 90 mile round trip to experience our first visit to Beefy Boys. We weren't disappointed! Our waiter Matthew was superb, super attentive, warm & friendly. The food was delicious, quick to arrive & piping hot. Oh & there was plenty of it too!!! We will be back for sure.

Absolutely the worst burger I’ve ever eaten, the overriding flavour was of burnt barbecue. Everything was cold, fries were limp. The restaurant was freezing cold, we were shivering when we left, it was warmer outside. Service charge was added to the bill and not offered as an option, which I really dislike as would rather give it to the person who served us. This was our first visit to the restaurant and we certainly won’t be going back.

Delicious burgers. Everyone in our party was happy with their choice. Prompt service in a dining area with a buzz from the kitchen. It's nice to hear happy staff. I'm a chef, and I'm told that all is well if I can be heard singing. These boys were singing. Keep singing boys!

Stunningly great burgers. I was especially grateful to staff who were very conscientious regarding my food allergies. Our first time, but definitely not our last!

i dont like putting bad reviews but i try to be honest with my experiences. i had the chicken strip burger and it was greasiest burger ive ever eaten. my hands were covered in oil after picking it up. also the chips were like small ends of chips and not full length ones which wasnt ideal. the waitress was pretty abrupt also and didnt seem like she wanted to be there. a smile goes a long way. 2 things missing off the order also which showed how interested she was in doing her job correct . usually the burgers here are good and maybe it was just a bad experience this time, but i can only go on what i had.

Best tasting burgers the UK has to offer and very friendly staff 👌. Just hope you guys expand further north next so we don't have so far to go.

Food all over the menus. Received the wrong beer. Fries - cold. Burgers - dry, overcooked. Toilets - dirty. 3 of the hand dryers were not working. Such a let down as I’d heard good things.

Very busy and you have to book at prime times i.e. lunchtime and dinner. Service was great, very attentive and the food was speedy even though we were a large table. I thought the food was good but not a five guys burger otherwise I would have given five stars. Reasonable prices for food and drinks. Recommended.

A bit underwhelming as a guest as part of a group booking attending here in August unfortunately. Food was tasty but very standard and not much taste than your average high street burger, extremely overpriced and underwhelming for the commercial reputation that Beefy Boys illustrates. The burgers are tiny. Deserts looked shockingly overpriced. Perhaps, deals on cocktail offers would make the prices more justified and appealing? Despite ordering my drink first out of the group, it never came to the table, and so I had to go up to the bar to enquire, they told me they forgot it but would make it now, so the service was very poor. Most of the other drinks were water, soft drinks, and bottles, so not exactly difficult to make one of two cocktails. At the time, the four waitresses just stood at the bar and not doing very much, despite it being a busy Saturday. Many of the staff were just standing around for most part and looked like they didn’t really want to be there, the male staff faired better and seemed better equipped with politeness and hospitality. One of our guests ordered a milkshake, to which the cream was of a very bad odour, appearance and colour. The waitress gave the guest a bit of a funny uncomfortable look, and didn’t apologise, even when a new one came and the odour, appearance and colour looked much better second time round. Toilets were clean. Tables in the dining areas were just okay in terms of cleanliness; our tables were very sticky in places and so were the menus a little battered from wear and tear, the music was a nice touch adding to the atmosphere. The floor though of the dining areas were very shockingly filthy, considering it was very early afternoon the standard should have been better. I think for the prices, slightly disappointing standard and service, it’s better to save money and visit other burger outlets and fast food restaurants. The near £200 we paid, could have been better well spent elsewhere, something to note for next time. A shame, really.

Disappointed. Millionaire fries weren't to my liking, overpowering garlic taste. One of the burgers was really wet, greasy.

Visited the Shrewsbury restaurant today, we had 3 burgers straight off the menu no add on’s or anything, and 3 fries 1 beer and 2 cokes !! Not impressed at all that fries are not included with the small burgers !! my burger was burnt around the edges too, the chips were all bits, felt ripped off as this cost £70 !! Feel that I would have got better food at McDonald’s never gain !! I wouldn’t recommend sadly 👎👎

I do have to say one of the best burgers I have had, also the chicken strips ninja flavour were delicious. Me and my son were very happy and the lady who served us was very friendly and helpful.

Lovely restaurant, we were served by Lewis who was helpful when ordering. Burgers were nice and loaded fries were a good portion. Drinks are refillable which is always good! Upstairs was a quieter atmosphere which was lovely. Great experience, thankyou! :)

Absolutely amazing from start to finish. We were seated straight away even though we were 45 minutes early and had popped in on the off chance we could have a drink before the time our table was booked for. We asked for some changes with our burgers and they accommodated us straight away, even let us try some of the other dips with our chips, would highly recommend the Chipotle mayo! Amazing service, amazing atmosphere, outstanding food, good music, would highly recommend!

we had been looking forward to our first visit. My burger was disgusting dripping in oil. My partners was over seasoned with salt. It was more than disappointing. The waiter was more than apologetic and refunded my burger. It was actually disgusting and I have never eaten part of a burger that appalling. It made me feel physically ill.

Third visit here and it still is superb. The best beef burger you will ever have. Do yourself a favour and come here you won't be disappointed. The PB&J burger was superb and the flavours went well with each. Second visit here and it just gets better and better. Had the blue boy with animal style patty and it was delicious and the flavours went so well together. Also had the chilli cheese boy which was exceptional. Will definitely return here again and try the other burgers. Genuinely one of if not the best burgers I have ever had. The flavours were great, the texture on point and they went together perfectly. The animal style patty was probably the best I've had not only in the UK but in the world. The meat was proper quality as well and you can taste this. The loaded pastrami fries were also excellent and the flavours went together like a hand and glove. I will definitely be back here to try the different style and flavour burgers.

The cocktails aren't up to much. The burgers were full of flavour.

Quite simply the best burger I've ever had, and I thought hanbao in Birmingham was good but these were better! Well worth the trip there just for the burgers!

Was very quiet, but that’s not a bad thing sometimes. Burgers were good. Surprised at the fact chips weren’t included with the burgers and were instead a £5 add on. So each burger was basically £20. That’s a lot for a single patty burger. Drinks were refillable though which is a big plus.

Fantastic burgers, fries and chicken

We had massive smash burgers & salada last weekend. The evening was really MADE by our server LILY though. Always attentive, she analysed our likes and dislikes and advised the perfect meal for each of us. She was great fun, super friendly, but not in your face. Always there just when you needed her. I'm sure that all your staff are good, but WE felt that she was a star performer. Thank you Beefies, and especially, thank you LILY!

Food was excellent, the staff were helpful polite and cheerful throughout, absolutely no criticism. A particular thank you to Rainers who looked after our rather large group splendidly, and to Lacey who beautifully facilitated the splitting of the bill between said significantly sized group. However all of the staff present in the Shrewsbury Branch on the night of Friday the 5th of July were incredibly helpful.

I had never been to Beefy Boys before and I didn't know anything about them we stumbled over this place while visiting Shrewsbury Town centre.... what a pick it was amazing so much choice of food and drink it was the tastiest burger I have ever eaten all 4 of us enjoyed our food. The sevice also made our visit nothing was too much trouble and thier recommendations were a perfect fit for us all.... Thank you for our experience, we will be back even though we all live in Coventry 😁😁

Before, I would've given them a full 5 stars. But recently, I feel like their level of service has dropped. Not in staff attitude, but in waiting time. The food is still great (though I do miss their buffalo chicken wings), but it feels like ages before our orders were taken...then even longer before the food arrived. Once, we were there over an hour before we began eating. I'm not one to complain, if it's busy, then it can't be helped. But it's things like this that can taint the experience. And as the bill for 2 of us comes to over £70, I feel like we didn't get over full value.

Been a few times, burgers a good, even though lots of staff wondering about seem to be waiting ages to get served.

Food was nothing that special, expensive really (£4.80 for fries for example. Because they made a mix up, my food was later than everybody else's (not good), they apologised which is good. Thing is the prior things let it down. First time there, shame really..
