Nice cafe but one-way system is unnecessary and inconvenient. One week the flat white was ok, the following week it was awful. Bacon and egg bap good except for bread falling apart. Staff are pleasant but need training.

Really great location to start or end any walk around Burnham Beeches. Food and drink both seemed reasonable and tasted great. Lovely to sit outside on the benches and take in the surroundings. It's also safe for children because it's fenced in.

Advertised on the menu as Bockwurst Hot dog with crispy onions in a baguette for £4.79. This lead me to believe we would be getting a proper German sausage with fried crispy onions. In reality it was a cheap frankfurter sausage topped with crispy onions from a packet in a stale baguette. My son even discovered mould on his baguette. I appreciate it’s just a cafe and not a restaurant but even so I would expect better given the description on the menu and no excuse for stale bread.

Ordered 2 coffees. It took 25 minutes for them to arrive. No warning that service would be slow. Teas were being served to later arrivals immediately. Asked why we hadn't been warned and they said there wasn't a queue when we ordered; where is the logic in that?

We stopped in for a sandwich after a stroll around the beeches. This is the only cafe on the beeches but it is very reasonably priced. There staff were friendly and efficient. We ordered a couple of egg mayo sandwiches, they were very good and came with both salad and crisps which was a welcome surprise. The food and the dining experience was far better than at the restaurant we had been to the night before. This is a great cafe and would recommend you visit.

There is nothing to moan about! This is a cafe in the middle of nowhere providing a welcome service to walkers in muddy boots, families with children having fun plus dogs. It's a fun spot and the service, drinks snd cakes were ideal for our group of 6 varying from 2 to 69. I've gone for four stars because it's the appropriate score for an outside cafe operating in those circumstances. Always worth stopping here for refreshments.

A well-placed outdoor cafe beside toilets and a car park, leading to many forest walks. Homemade lunch snacks like quiche, houmous, macaroni cheese, and soup. Wide choice of hot drinks and mouthwatering range of home-made cakes. Dogs allowed inside outer fence, and plenty of seating. A great place to relax, but not much shelter if it rains.

At last the cafe has re-opened with new opening time of 10am (but I personally think they are missing customers with the late start). Newly equipped, new staff who are very pleasant. I'm now starting to use it for my cycling meets. First impressions: Coffee OK, cafe selection very good. Can't comment on food as yet and haven't seen any slow service as some reviews have suggested. Since the new people have taken over they are always running out of food. This weekend they did not have any milk! Asked for a jacket potato with cheese & beans but they had no beans. The previous week they didn't have any potatoes. Previous weeks there was again very little choice. The food is generally overpriced. The coffee is very nice. They also do not sell the kids ice creams at £1 each now, so too expensive for many people now as they are approx. £2.50. The staff are always friendly but feel sorry for all the flack they receive due to not enough food etc.

Very inadequate refreshment facilities for a recreation area of such importance. They do not seem to have been developed since we last visited more than ten years ago. No covered seating, so useless on wet day, as on our visit. We fled to Costas in the high street. Visitor information facilities rather meagre too. I had just completed a delightful walk through the woods with my delightful dog Susan. He were happy to be greeted by a cafe. I ordered a coffee and a bacon sandwich and was pleased with the politeness of the staff. My sandwich came in around ten minutes and was lovely. I went to use the lavatory to find a very loud snorting noice coming from one of the disabled toilets. My first suspicion was that someone had fallen in the toilet. I opened the unlocked door after knocking to find an extremely sweaty man in a black polo shirt snorting a white substance off of the baby changing table. He had his trousers down to his knees and turned around to ask me how I was enjoying my experience at the cafe. I was in utter shock and despair. This man was actually doing a class A drug off of a baby changing station where metres away children play outside. I walked over to the cafe to ask them to call the police. They replied this is our owner and he does this most days.

After a long day of walking with a group of friends, it was so relieving to see that there was a cafe serving cakes, drinks and sandwiches. However as soon as I got to the till there were three members of staff on and not one of them noticed me and were too busy chatting, facing away. They also seemed to be incredibly underaged but they did take my order eventually and directed me to a table. 3 ham and cheese panini’s eventually came after 20 minutes, in this time I did have to go and ask twice (bearing in mind it was a very quiet day). For this amount of time I would be expecting a delicious dish but it was revolting and overpriced. This place was dirty, stupidly expensive and inattentive. Will not be visiting here again.

Burnham Beeches is a great park although the managing authority seem to be trying to discourage visitors with ever increasing parking charges and their overly restrictive desire to limit dogs off leads. This cafe straddels the two areas of on and off lead and this division is reflected in it's own space where you have areas where dogs can sit with their owners and some where dogs are not allowed.Overall a good selection of drinks and snacks although I do wonder how much their trade has been hit by the restriction on dog walkers hitting visitor numbers.

I am still shocked and upset after my visit to this cafe. My friends and I had just taken part in the 10k at Burnham Beeches. We we all on a high and so proud to have achieved the run. As part of the goodie bag we were given a token for a free tea or coffee in the cafe. One of the ladies in our group isn't able to have caffeine so when it was her turn asked if she could have a herbal tea instead. The female server said yes of course. When she handed over the tea she realised it was a normal tea so turned round and very politely pointed this out and asked the man behind the counter if he could change it, I can only explain his reaction as totally unacceptable .. Out of nowhere a litany of abuse came out of his mouth, he started shouting at her saying "it's tea or coffee, what is wrong with you , it's free get out of my cafe if you don't want it. My friend was so shocked and upset I went up to another server and asked for the rude mans name so that I could make a formal complaint, (all the time we kept our cool and were polite) the unhinged man came steaming over and he started screaming: "why do you want to make a complaint? This is my cafe , get out, you are not normal you people are a joke, it's free what's wrong with you." .. I don't understand his behaviour, his hatred and aggression. Please do not step into this place unless you want to encounter this hideous hideous behaviour.

I've lived in the Farnham Common/Burnham Beeches area for the last 15 years or so. Over the last few years, I've been popping into The Beeches Cafe on a relatively regular basis.During the summer, what a beautiful setting to enjoy a gorgeous ice cream, or in the winter, a lovely warm cup of the best hot chocolate around (top tip: you must have the hot chocolate with all the trimmings) and fresh hot paninis - no better way to spend a rather relaxed afternoon in my opinion.Very dog friendly (should be with all the gorgeous places to walk in the Beeches), but also has an area where dogs aren't allowed just in case you're not such a fan.The staff are lovely - really helpful and can't do too much.
