Food and service both excellent

DOES NOT SHOW TNT sports. Only shows sky sports. Travelled from ludlow to watch there is no pubs showing TNT within 22 miles. Nearest looks like shrewsbury. Very friendly publican👍 Thanks for being polite but time to go to shrewsbury for the premier league game.

Fancied a pub lunch and the Beeches delivered in spades, ice cold Carling Black Label and a huge Chicken, bacon and salad flat bread. It was so big I had to eat half of the chicken before I could fold it in half to eat it! Superb will be back soon for more!

Food okay, service fine - it's not terribly fancy but suffices for a village pub. I've been a local on and off for many years so seen it change hands several times. I know I can get a fair pint with an okay meal, and will happily head down there for an evening bite when in the area. Wifi signal is pretty poor in the lounge - I think the router is located over in the bar area. Beer range isn't great, fine if you're a lager/cider drinker, but no range of great ales.

Beautiful roast dinner at The Beeches this afternoon. Such a big portion, lots of meat and a huge selection of veg, including a sensational red cabbage. The Landlady was very attentive and accommodating. The young waiter was lovely too and super polite and chatty. Would highly recommend a visit - there is lots going on there and beautiful food xx

As a longtime local of The Beeches, I've witnessed its evolution under various landlords over the years. However, the current state of the pub is disheartening. It's the most run-down I've ever seen, lacking the warmth and welcoming atmosphere it once had. The Beeches now struggles with inconsistent opening times, often opening late and closing early. The landlady's demeanor, treating the bar as if it her personal living room, sets an unwelcoming tone. Witnessing regulars being spoken to in an unprofessional manner by the landlady and her friends is disappointing, to say the least. The gents' toilets resemble those of a neglected nightclub, reflecting the overall decline of the establishment. It's saddening to see a pub with so much potential fall into disarray. The Beeches hardly sees the bustling crowds it once did, and its friendly charm is lacking. In conclusion, The Beeches' current state is a far cry from its former glory. It's a shame to see such a beloved local haunt lose its appeal and fail to live up to its potential.

Clean, tidy and welcoming Dannii the landlady is lovely and her staff are great They go above and beyond Regular events amazing atmosphere and restaurant opening on 15th feb the head chef has a wealth of experience and we can’t wait to the menu. Great all rounder! Beer is on point and food is amazing! Jay & Dannii have totally turned the pub round for the better and we look forward to what’s to come! We had a great family meal at the beaches early evening yesterday. It was such a nice relaxed atmosphere. This was the team's first night of food since taking over the pub and they did a great job of preparing our meals so quickly.

New owners Jay and Danny have made my dad feel so special on his birthday , I totally recommend visiting as they have totally changed the pub for the better and food is amazing thank you Lisa x

Called at the beeches for a Sunday roast dinner. The staff there are very friendly and polite and helpful, the food was excellent and there was plenty of it and all the food was pipping hot. Great value for money and will definitely be going back for more and will be telling all my family and friends.

Just had a meal with my wife at this estate pub. To save on taxis, nice to walk to our local pub and to try something different. Food was good and well presented for what you expect from this type of establishment. It was let down by sticky table, a bar staff member who was not well trained and the lack of direction. The rest rooms are in much need of moderisnation (It struck in the 70's.) The dining area was well decorated and spaced for covid - 19.

My husband and I ordered fish and chips it took over 3/4 of an hour to come and it was the frozen cheap fish which is mostly water, I tried to eat it but I couldn't. It made me feel really sick ,I was unwell until the early hours.my grand daughters meal was the last brought out her baked bean looked baked,really quite dry.But I dont go out to eat frozen cheap food.I was very unhappy and disappointed ,and it cost so much it's the third meal out presently as I'm having a kitchen fitted, so was trying something different.But not again.

Decided to meet here one evening with friends. Not all of us were eating but we sat in the lounge ordered drinks and were served promptly (sometimes they do seem to take their time to serve lounge customers as they tend to be in the main bar most of the time - but there is a bell to get their attention :) ) - we ordered our food one of which was the ultimate veggie burger (about the only decent veggie option on the menu) and wifey was quite looking forward to it.A few minutes later the girl from the kitchen came out to say they had no veggie burgers.... considering the few veggie options you'd think they would always have stock of them to satisfy those customers orders.Anyway nothing else took her fancy but she spotted quorn sausages were an option on the kids menu so asked if she could have some of those in the burger as a subsitute.No problem. Our food arrived - my curry was as expected and very tasty. Her burger arrived and was simply 3 quorn sausages in a bun without any of the additions that the veggie one should come with but it was taken back to the kitchen and returned with melted cheese but no relish. Hey ho.Chips were good and plentiful!. Curry night deal is always a winner so overall not a bad experience in the end and hopefully they are able to sort their veggie stock levels out so they dont have issues again. Its not like a veggie burger takes up much freezer space. All in all pub grub as you would expect from a menu you would expect from this type of venue.

My daughter and I popped in for lunch as she has moved to that part of the town. What a surprise, beautifully clean and welcoming. Nice staff and very friendly. We both had steak, both were cooked exactly as ordered, plenty of food, delicious and good quality. Will return. 2 meals with soft drink for £20

Tatty furniture outside. Looks like dumping ground for second hand furniture. Not very nice, the tables and benches were better.

Not a bad place to go for a pint, looks a bit dingy from the out side and the inside ain't much better. Friendly enough place, do some okay food too.

Lovely place, food is very good value for money. The management team do, however, need to have a serious look into the young lads taking cocaine in the toilets. Very off putting when your having a mid-week meal with family!! If it wasn’t for that negative point I would have given 5*! Please get this under control before you get a bad name

Had a Christmas meal with around 30 others. Couldn't fault the service or the food. Everything beautifully presented and lovely and hot.

Had lunch in The Beeches in Bayston Hill today. It's a Marston's pub and serves nice pub food, well presented, and served by friendly, efficient staff. Prices are very reasonable for food and drinks. A large glass of wine, 250ml, costs £3.35, which is great compared to many places. It was pretty quiet for such a nice place, maybe partly because it was marked as closed on Google. It's most certainly open for business.

This is our local so perhaps a little biased. The staff are lovely and friendly and the food is great, especially the curry nights. There is entertainment on most weekends and children are welcome.Plenty of car parking and a large beer garden. What is there not to like!

El salón está bien decorado. Que básicamente no interesados en celebrar algún tipo de funciones. Ir a Shrewsbury y hay muchos lugares, más que encantado de ayudarle a organizar una celebración de cumpleaños.

Myself and my partner popped in for lunch yesterday, I have to say I was very impressed. I had the curry which was beautiful, tender chicken and tasty sauce, Sam had the brunch and went large. The prices are ridiculously good for the quality of the food and the service is spot on! We will definitely be returning for a meal again soon, in the mean time we'll pop in for a pint or 3!

This is our local pub we eat there at least 2-3 times a month. Staff very friendly..Lots of choice from the menu. Curry nite is fantastic.. Plus very reasonable priced.

We were treating our old neighbours and two family members to lunch and, since we'd read all the five star reviews here, we decided to try The Beeches. The lady behind the bar was very pleasant when we arrived and helped to push a couple of tables together for the six of us.

Nice atmosphere, friendly service, cheap and cheerful curry and a pint with change from £6! Loads of parking.

I haves visited pubs all over Europe most especially Spain & France I showed this man a few photos of my home bar and he contributed three glasses for me enabeling me to reach 500 in my collection of branded bar glasses. He did this kind deed out of pure humanity I will be forever greatful for his kindness to a stranger. If ever you can then visit this pub IT'S THE BEST.

Living (and growing up) nearby I've seen the Beeches go through several changes of hands and witnessed different meals on offer.

Plenty of choice for kids & adults. All dishes are really well priced & portions are generous with some lovely desserts.

The Beeches Pub is recently new to serving food. Opted for the Cowboy Steak Burger £6.25. This included bacon, cheese, onion rings and chips. I must say it was absolutely gorgeous and very filling!
