The BBQ Club in Lambeth

Wednesday night or any night. What an amazing BBQ and experience, we both really enjoyed it so thank you to the team. My wife is gluten and dairy intolerant and they went out of their way to make sure all the courses were adjusted (not compromised) to be authentic to the standard courses. We also took the drinks pairing package and they also made sure the wines were vegan friendly for my wife’s dairy intolerance. Highly recommended at Jimmy’s Pop Up and thank you again for a great evening.

Came here for a drink and something to eat late afternoon as it was close to the BFI, where we had just been. Was really, really pleasantly surprised! The quality of the burgers we had was excellent, good choice of craft beers, and delicious cocktails. Friendly staff. Definitely recommend it as a place for lunch if you’re on the South Bank.

Family bbq lunch today …great setting on the Southbank by the river Seven courses £55 per head ..drinks extra all the food was good except the steak …very poor quality fatty and hard chewy bits not nice ! The cocktails average prices beer too …glass of wine a rip off !! £8 for a small measure but I guess to be expected in London You don’t get a receipt for the drinks they have it on a hand held devise my husband likes to check everything is correct also service charge is added The staff were helpful and friendly It’s not value for money but a fun experience it was nice to do but would not do again

Six of us celebrated my husband's 50th birthday. He absolutely loved it! It was quirky, interesting, food was yum, the view was gorgeous! It was a whole evening experience. We all had a great time.

Absolutely delicious food. Signature burger was amazing and best Halloumi fries I’ve ever tasted. We were in the area looking for street food and stumbled across this place next to the river. We had a signature burger each (I had double patty) halloumi fries and loaded fries. Everything was really tasty. We will definitely be coming back for the 6 course bbq meal.

Horrible experience - rudest waitress I’ve ever met, food was so overpriced and was flavourless. We was made to feel unwelcome.

Visited here last night and had the most amazing evening. The food was fabulous, fresh and tasty with some unusual flavours to be sampled. You could either cook yourself or have the food cooked for you, we chose to cook ourselves with the assistance of Blessing our waitress for the evening. Well what can I say about Blessing, she was absolutely brilliant, knowledgable about all the ingredients and just an absolute joy, nothing was too much trouble. She is an absolute treasure for this restaurant and I hope she is appreciated by the management as she really did make our evening. We will definitely be returning and telling all our friends about this gem.

Very disappointed and left feeling completely ripped off. We ordered cocktails which came in child size plastic cup for £8.50 and one of the worst tasting cocktails in the world, no drinking straw I had to ask for a straw and the food was cold and over cooked had to ask for cutlery. We regret not going to the pub at the end of the bank. We know better now!

Our family of 6 spent a couple of hours or so renting out one of their picnic areas adjacent to the BBQ club, and we had a fantastic time. Within our own artificial lawned area of about 50 square metres (all inside a gated white picket fence) there were various games such as skittles and connect 4, plus deckchairs and a large corner sofa. The bar was right next to us which was very convenient, and the actual picnic, although meant for 4 people, fed all 6 of us with plenty left over! (we packed it up and donated it to a homeless person later). It was all high quality food, and the whole experience was the perfect opportunity to relax, laugh and to enjoy being a family together. Only downside - no toilets, so a trip to one of the many local eateries was required a few times. Highly recommended though! .

I took my friend their for her birthday. A rather expensive BBQ. Seating tight, food average. At the end of the night presented with a bill for the additional jug of Pimms. There on the bill was an additional charge of £13.50 on top of the £32 for the drink. When I questioned what that was server advised "Service Charge". That evening wrote to question this additional charge as it does not state on site I would be up for a "Service Charge". I thought it was inclusive of the cost. That was a week ago still waiting for an explanation. Not thrilled at all with the experience!!!

We were booked in for the lunch time slot (1pm yesterday). After some confusion with bookings we were greeted by friendly staff at 1pm and a jug of Aperol Spritz for any inconvenience caused. There were 6 delicious courses that are beautifully presented. You then have the opportunity to cook the meats and different aspects of the meal. The views were incredible and the staff were so attentive and friendly! The food was delicious we were both full by the end and I would love to come back again. In some reviews it mentions the toilets are a nuisance we didn’t find this an issue as they are literally just across the path. 5 stars definitely recommend for people who love food and fancy doing something a little bit different!

Myself and my boyfriend visited the BBQ club yesterday (16.05.2019) for his birthday celebrations and had the absolute best time! I would honestly recommend this pop up so much! We had a barbeque to ourselves as there was only two other couples there which was so nice as it was a little more private and the staff could give us extra care and attention in regards to the cooking times, recommendations etc. The staff was so lovely, we had a chef called Henry and he was super attentive, funny and just overall a nice guy. The food was also very lovely and such a nice variety! I read some reviews that said the portions were small but I really do not think this is the case, potentially may have been in previous years, but we both was so full and struggled to finish the final course - and we can both eat a lot! To give a brief run down of our courses we had flatbreads, grilled cauliflower, salmon trout, fillet of bream, chicken kebabs, lamb cutlets and ribs, grilled pineapple and pannacotta and a little pot of marshmallows on skewers to roast later on. All the courses came with perfect compliments to the food and I could not recommend this place enough! Such a different, unique but fun experience that everyone can enjoy! We was so lucky to have very sunny, warm weather but the area is covered over so you don't have to rely on nice weather to have a lovely time. The staff also gave us little blankets to snuggle up with when it started to get chilly as the evening went on.

Nice tasty food (albeit expensive). Chicken chips and fries was £12 and the chicken was pink in the middle. Took it back to show the chef (stating that we just wanted to make him aware) and he was not really that bothered ? Nice spot on the south bank and I understand that you have to have plastic glasses but do they really have to be the cheapest as the drinks are not cheap. And just to round off it’s a bit off putting when the barmaid is walking around collecting plastic cups talking loudly into her phone ear piece.

Fabulous location and the food was superb. Great way to finish of the day in the pre-booked upstairs BBQ area overlooking the Thames. Highly recommend this when it returns next summer

Lovely located, this is a great spot to enjoy the view and have a great meal. But if you are passing by, the take away options are excellent!. Great burgers, loved the homemade pickles, and the fries are perfect!
