The Bay Tree in Cornwall, Isles of Scilly

Nice lunch here when visiting the garden centre. Plenty of tables but still a cosy feel. Had coffee and cake here on several occasions which have always been enjoyable and reasonably priced.

Booked a table at this restaurant a week ago, when we arrived it was rammed. The waiter was so attentive and apologetic, we had a superb meal, beautifully presented, it was faultless. Can't praise highly enough.

Love this place. We eat here regularly as it never fails to disappoint. All the food and service is amazing. We have just had a Sunday roast today and it was one of the best roasts we've ever eaten anywhere. Very generous portions and cooked to perfection. Thank you

Excellent restaurant with lovely atmosphere. The staff are so welcoming and customer focussed. The food is excellent, I have eaten here a few times now and the breakfast is excellent. The coffee is delicious but today I tried the Greek Yoghurt with granola !! “ Out of this World” taste sensation. Next week we are booked to try the Roast Dinner. Would highly recommend

Went here for lunch with a couple of friends last month. I had the quiche & chips for lunch. The food was nice but sadly let down by the stingyest portion sizes. There were no more than about 8 chips on the plate, the coleslaw was in the tinyest pot you've ever seen (so very little). The side salad on the plate was poor. it consisted of just a few small peices of iceberg lettuice - no salad dressing or anything. The quiche was quite small too. I can honestly say i was disappointed with the food portion size and at £11 felt it wasn't worth the money. I went home still hungry. Sad to say, i will be giving it a miss from now on.

Food was fabulous but dwarfed by the waitress Jess, she was so accommodating, friendly, tentative, speedy, efficient and so pretty

We visited 3 times. Having travelled overnight from Birmingham, we headed straight for The Bay Tree for breakfast as per last year. We weren't disappointed. My poached eggs on toast were delicious and my hubby thoroughly enjoyed his full English. We booked Sunday lunch and chose the turkey option which was served with a medley of fresh vegetables, crisp roast potatoes and Yorkshire pudding, all delicious. Another day we had baguettes and salad for lunch which again were mouth-watering. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They work like Trojans as a team and the camaraderie amongst them is plain to see. We'll be back in October!!

Visiting garden centre popped into cafe for a variety of drinks and cake. The drinks were lovely and the cakes homemade and very good price.then came along a member of staff and with a long handled brush proceeded to clean the floor around tables either side of where we were sitting. Dust in my hair and put us off eating our cake.The time was roughly 3pm. We quickly left after waiting at the counter for a good few minutes as I wanted to give my complaint. I was ignored so we left would we return.Probably but could someone tell the young lady you do not vigorously sweep the floor whilst people are eating and drinking.
