The fence is wobbling above my head I’m scared it’s gonna come down people raging it and that really scares me I am now afraid to come back but the guineas sign is encroaching on the climbing ability because of my lanky legs The green and black bin is confusiong me 🤔 the half painted fence is to be desired There is a stranger approching people the conclusion is it’s fine

Really nice local pub. Friendly landlady. Very welcoming. Also dog friendly which is good to see.

If you don't want to pay £5 a pint or more go elsewhere. Not a bad pub.

Nice friendly public house good staff

We stopped off on a coach trip to Farsley Celtic FC. The staff were very good and coped well with a boisterous crowd. We went back after the game for a couple of hours, we enjoyed it that much.

An important place to me and my wife we met there 53 years ago , good memories and plenty of happy hours spent it the pub we went in at lunch time barmaid very nice good service it was not busy which suited us. Met Landlady seemed very nice friendly just what we required.

Called in for a couple of drinks and did a bit of karaoke. Great atmosphere and some good singers. Shame it finished early as I could of sung all night

ZERO stars! For the very rude bar maid. Whom i assume is the landlady, shocking service! When asked for a taller glass for a double spirit, she huffed and puffed and provided a slightly taller glass then the exact same amount of mixer!! When we asked for a splash more mixer, she said cockily "thats going to cost you more!" We said that is fine. Theres absolutely no need to be so rude and nasty about it, rolling your eyes and making a point of giving the same amount although in a bigger glass! We were polite and so should she. Realistically, should you not get a double amount of mixer with a double spirit? Sounds petty but made us feel, as a paying, very uncomfortable! RUDE!

Went in bay horse last night first time for a long time . 2 lovely barstaff so friendly and made to feel welcome . Much better than previous visits . Definatey be returning . An assett to the pub

This was my third time at this pub and the third time I and friends were met with hostility and rudeness from the landlords. Last night after been in bar 33 (great pub) we went to the bay horse inn, my partner who was designated driver so not drinking was refused service at the bar (for a water) because ‘you don’t drink here’ when asked why no service land lady said I choose who I serve. I was served and then when seated with my partner and friends landlady approached my partner and said ‘I told you no service’ she then swiped all drinks. When asked why the Landlady was very aggressive in her tone and made it clear if you were not local you are not welcome, the irony been I live in Farsley! Never again will I step over the threshold of that pub -disgusting!

Terrible service! We ordered a real ale and knew it was bad straight away it smelt like vinegar. Tasted bad. Landlady insisted there was nothing wrong with it and refused to change it. We walked out leaving our drinks.

Love the place. Landlord landlady and staff second to none. Good atmosphere and the beer Is always on form.

Lovely place if you like traditional pub with good beer

Living and working in Farsley let me advise you that this is the one pub to avoid. After asking nearly everyone for ID, of which I totally respect! Then everyone producing it the staff stood behind the bar talking about us for the duration of our time there. When I tried to make a polite complaint I was just given utter lies about our behaviour and rudeness. Stating members of the group were trying to avoid producing it, odd since they all had it and then we were disrespectful about it. Absolute disgrace and will not be going there again.

There has been a definite shift in clientèle at the Bay Horse, along with an internal restructure. If you haven't been in in a few years, it's worth going back and seeing how it is now. Standard beer selection along with other drinks offers.

Had a great time there, fun pub, good price but get there early for a seat in main room. Plenty laughs great girls night out.

The bay horse It's been altered . New landlord and wife karaoke. TVs with all the latest sports. Very friendly. Great selections of largersand draft beers. Highly recommended

Busy little place, nice service.

Walked in. Seemed like a lovely atmosphere, today Leeds Rhinos played a match and me and my family wore the shirts, were rejected and told sportswear is not allowed past a certain time, my parents run a craft union pub and even they thought this rule was absurd, way to make local potential clientele feel welcomed. Would suggest avoiding this pub on any Leeds United or Rhinos matchdays, or in fact, any matchdays in general, because the last thing you want to do after enjoying a game and spending money in a pub is being kicked out for no reason. It's funny. We were only calling in for a single pint each too.

Been coming in this pub a long time but the landlord was so rude to my husband. The place was so busy, looked like he couldnt cope.he was so stressed out, not pleasant to us at all. Won't be coming back

Great pub really changed in recent times fantastic atmosphere today (Sunday)and the beer is always top notch will come here again and again

It was Friday teatime and the pub was packed. The customers were really nice and healpful to us, being strangers. They had two real ales on, both of which were spot on. We could happily stayed for a session but had a booking elsewhere.

Very busy , but quick service. It's has had a refit and the bar has changed position it works much better. Only called in for a quick one on the way to an event. Will be calling back .

Staff are rude! When I showed proof of ID, they refused to believe it and immediately shut it down. People also around me were incredibly rude despite having my ID and staff allowed this to happen. Won’t be going back, toxic atmosphere and disrespect staff. Showed proof of age multiple times and was refused service and requested them to scan ID, makes no sense and we’re unnecessarily rude?

A group of 6 people walk into a pub wanting a quick drink to watch some football. They face accusation after accusation from the bar staff; first questioning their dress code, despite wearing shirts and jeans; then questioning a group of 24 year olds for their ids; and finally proceeding to parade this group out of the pub by fabricating an issue with an ID. An embarrassment of a pub and a disgrace to the neighbourhood - do not visit if you value common courtesy and equality in the modern world

Don’t know the legal drinking age unfortunately. Good looking darts board but will kick you out unless you’re starting to go grey.

Such a lovely pub now with the most amazing and friendly bar staff. Not to mention the new landlord amd landlady Dave and Kay!! What amazing genuinely really nice people. They care so much and it shows!!!

Bought a drink went outside and sat on bench, landlady came out shouting I'm not allowed to sit there .... Shouldn't that be made aware when you are new ? ... I'm reporting her to above her , she had me in tears ..... Disgusted

This place has really changed. The staff are really friendly. totally different Bay Horse now. Drinks were cheap and has a good range to choose from.

Decent pub, bank holiday so hangovers kept regulars out early. Disco/karaoke, bingo charity raffle definite return next season if Spartans playing them again.

Really surprised how nice this place is inside now. Obviously had some cash spent on it. Lacked a couple of real ales at the bar but that could be sorted easily.

Wasn’t aware that pub is not family friedly, which is understandable but it’s just how we were treated. Especially the fact that adults were there a looong time and spent a lot money on drinks where literally asked to leave 5 times in space of 10min even tho been served us a drink because of a child turning up, and it was only because I was picking my husband up from there. bear in mind mid week no one there. Fair enough can ask to leave etc but just the stinky attitude. Very rude woman coming out all the time saying “u need to leave now! “. Won’t be going there even without kids in the future. Never felt so embarrassed in a pub especialy in so small village and so unwelcome. Should’ve put a sign up about 18s only too!!
