Flames in Leeds

i placed my order via uber eats and unfortunately i was given the wrong item instead of 2 garlic bread pizzas. I had contacted flames and they was very quick to send a driver out with the correct items. The staff was very friendly and understanding. The delivery driver was very apologetic and i was given a complementary pepsi to say sorry for the hassle. I have ordered from flames before and had no issues until today but the staff was so quick to resolve the issue i have nothing bad to say

Food is absolutely horrible and milkshakes are worse. Absolutely tasteless and overpriced, stay away even if you’re hungry after a night out.

Please avoid Flames Leeds (Oppisite the Uni)❌at all costs. This is the state of food they’re giving and they think it’s acceptable. Accused me of bringing this from elsewhere and finally accepted it but refused to give refund, my girlfriend was sick after eating this and this will be reported to food standard agency! Would be 0 stars if I could.

1) customer service = Appalling 2) Owner = tight "millionaire" who over charged me even though the pizza was £9.50 as on the site it clearly stated half half pizza £9.50! the chips were £2.70 (large) delivery to my location was £1.50 total £13.70 i got charged £14.90! 3) Deep pan pizza? If a thin crust pizza is a deep pan according to these they best go Specsavers. Places like these i never give my business to again even if it's only place open on earth to survive i'd rather starve and die.

Worst pizza place I have ever ordered from in my life two items, and then only got one item , pizza cold like ice just off putting service, annoying feeling,, couldn't eat none of it as I didn't trust the food to bother eating it .. Flames is upsetting to my stomach no joy here..

food ordered early hours of this morming to my home address from this shop through uber eats got a message saying delivered took thirty pound out of account and no takeaway totally bang outtve order from both companys will not be ordering again due to been robbed by both companys

the pizza is more like a chapati with pizza sauce no flavour or topping need to learn how to make pizza giving 4* but should be 1 in reality don't like leaving bad reviews but this was a must my 5 year old didn't like the taste of a simple margarita

First time I try Flames. 4lb (Vip) burger 🍔 nothing special just a cheap frozen meat 👎 (the Vip burge option is better then other but i think is really not jut more expensive) Next : The wings i try simple fried wings and buffalo's sauce wings. Guys wtf all pinky meat and bones bloody, everybody knows what's meaning ☠️ i check nearly 8 wings all.same.I think pinky because the buffalo's sauce but the fried wings is same . Last chicken pitta was okey get salad on and some souce . So i didn't think i recommend this place. (Delivery on the time)

Chips were so wet with 0 crisp. The burger was genuinely horrendous, It was bland and tasted like the cheapest meat I’ve ever tasted. For the price, this is one of the worst take aways I’ve ever eaten. There’s plenty of cheaper and better take aways around Leeds to choose from. Order also took ages to arrive

We did not receive the food. Was meant to be 2 pizzas and only got one. Ordered onion rings and chips. Did not receive this at all. Accused of us lying when we have photographic proof. Spent £40 and got £10 of it. Horrendous service and awful food as of what we did receive. Completely avoid.

Paid £6 for donner meat with 5 shredded lettuce leaves, what place doesn’t have donner meat with pita bread? May as well have just ordered donner meat on its own:m. Waste of money

Absolute rip off the calzone i ordered was flat with cheap fillings it resembled a Cornish pasty and the milkshakes we ordered was cheap vannila ice-cream with nothing else

no gravy :( but that’s ok it was still a good chomp- it is what it is, cheap post club food. super fast service as we were the only ones in there. did drop them unfortunately but they were real good prior

Absolutely adore their pizza, just a long wait wether delivery or take out but well worth it.

After many years, I’ve just tried this place and I wish I’ve done that before. The fried chicken is one of the best in Leeds, the chicken burger is amazing, tenders were awesome. The services is so fast, and the prices are incredible. The only thing that I didn’t like is that seatings area. There are limited seats and not very comfy but everything else was perfect.

AVOID!! Ordered pizza meal deal and only pizza showed up with none of the sides or drinks, we phoned up and waited over an hour to get the items after being promised it would only take 30 mins and didn’t even receive sauces or full chips and drink, Then bit into hot wings and they were completely raw and pizza was disgusting, meat tasted off do not order food here !

Estaba justo allí mirando el menú, cuando la rata más grande que he visto salió del sótano (o detrás del mostrador) procedió a girar en círculo durante alrededor de un minuto antes de volver corriendo por las escaleras - el personal no parecía molestado en ningún momento y siguió como pensaba que era normal. me enfermó el estómago y tuve que dejar mi comida inmediatamente. no sintieron la necesidad de explicar o perseguir a la rata fuera de la cocina, solo miraron y sonrieron mientras corría por las escaleras. absolutamente horrorizado y disgustado NO va a volver allí. debe tener un problema peor en la cocina si ni siquiera se estremecieron a la una.

Best take out in centre easily. Chicken burger meal is a must, better than McDonald’s. Strawberry milkshake is also a must 💯. Usually busy but best on week nights when quiet.

if i could give this place minus stars i would i am absolutely horrified. i’ve just been stood in the ordering area and i’ve seen a very LARGE rat run out from behind the counter, scurry round on the floor and down the stairs. the employees didn’t flinch or try to chase it out they just laughed and smiled as it ran down the stairs as though it was a joke??? i’ve never been more shaken or so sick to my stomach i had to run outside and throw all my food in the bin. -10/10 vile.

Fui a pedir unas patatas fritas con unos amigos, estaba esperando para pedir y vio a una rata correr hacia la cocina después de salir de detrás del mostrador. El personal no parecía preocupado o afectado por esto y continuó con lo que estaban haciendo. No se disculparon ni siquiera intentaron atrapar a la rata o rectificar la situación, simplemente se quedaron allí y observaron estándares de higiene muy pobres en general. Tan antihigiénico y no recomiendo pedir desde aquí!

I am writing Farsi so that if you were in Leeds and looking for halal fast food, you will find it easier! The quality of the food was good and the prices were completely student friendly! Because it is right in front of the Parkinson building of the University of Leeds. with 5 pounds of fried chicken with chips (fries) plus a soft drink. Well, that is good!! I found out that the food here is halal because it doesn't have a halal sign, but when you go inside, they tell you that the food is halal and the logo is on the menus inside!! Enjoy your meal

Horrible. If I could give them a 0 I would ordered off Uber eats as a regular as I always order from them and this time they forgot 1 item. It’s Ramadan and I was fasting also the food wasn’t mine so the person couldn’t open their fast. I rang to get it redelivered, at first they was claiming they put everything in and then when I got abit angry they said they would redeliver it. They took all my details, I waited and my sister waited and they never delivered it absolutely atrocious. It’s Ramadan and your forgetting people orders then lying to them making people wait to open their fasts and a regular customer too need shutting down.

I ordered the apparent ‘chicken burger’ and ‘cheesy chips’ from Flames, both of which arrived freezing cold and somewhat soggy. After reluctantly consuming the food, around an hour or two later, I began feel massively unwell and started showing the symptoms of food poisoning (these symptoms I will not be expanding on due to the nature of them). On the day of consumption, I ate nothing else capable of giving me these symptoms, unless toast with honey counts, I think not. Long story short, please do not eat from this ‘restaurant’, the pain is most definitely not worth consuming the lifeless mush that they call ‘food’ and is most definitely not worth having to loose 2/3 days of paid work for.

Ordered a late night take out...massive disappointment! Ordered a King Platter that was promised with deep-fried-deliciousness!...Got everything but! Dry dry dry! Not a single sauce for the entire dinner...Donner meat looked and tasted like it had been shaved and then sat under the Commercial Heated Lamp for a few hours...plus the rest!! All the food was cold after I had chased it and that's what sucked when the food is normally pretty good!! Then I called to ask if this could be fixed...the guy in the restaurant said that they were "too busy to fix it"...I'm not asking for a refund, just wanting better and asking for better food...(and better service apparently)!

Very slow. Takes 3 adults to do a kids job. Stood at the counter for 20 minutes, cannot place order. The guy inside ignored me when I asked if I can place order, just playing deaf. Called him again and again and he just said: just wait, don’t you see there is a lot of orders? It’s a joke. I have patience for disabled people but not for retarded morons.

Put an order, they accepted, later on they cancelled on the reason they're closed! If you're closed, don't accept the order! No big deal! Disgusting behaviour!

The staff guy that serves me is so rude every time i order food. Didn’t even make eye contact or say anything e.g., of the price or any confirmation or anything. Food is also mid, but it’s convenient as it’s close to the university.

I ordered the King Kebab and had it delivered to my hotel. First off, the temperature of the food was only just warm, the chips soggy/bland and the meat? Well, the chicken shish?? I think, was dry and looked like tandoori meat from the other day, the donner meat was standard and the chicken donner wasn't chicken donner .... no idea what I was eating for half of it. Complete rubbish that I will never order again. I have no idea who these people are who say this is 'exceptional food', when it clearly isn't. My advice? Don't bother, grab a quick meal from somewhere else.

They are con artists. If you order they don't deliver. They lie and say someone knocked on your door and tried calling. I have ring doorbell and zero missed calls. I didn’t actually go there but wanted to order over the phone, when I asked if I could place order for delivery the guy on the other side of the phone pretended to not be able to hear me and cut it off, I tried again and the same thing happened. I also tried it Ona different phone using data instead of WiFi and the same thing happened so I know there wasn’t a problem on my end but he was being rude. Definitely don’t order from here food isn’t all that anyway.

Paid more the £8 for a large doner kebab on delivery, it was no bigger than the regular one. Also have no chilli or garlic sauce and no salad. All that came was some sad looking doner and a tough kebab bread. Bad.

Had flames ring me telling me they were delivering my food. I never ordered anything (not sure how someone got my address and number) and I told them I never ordered anything. Instead of just saying okay they accused me and said it was me and they recognised my voice, they said they heard some lad ask for a kebab in background which wasn’t true as I wasn’t with one, told them that and still accused me. Hung up when I tried to ask who called and under what name

Ordered a take away late at night. I was unable to track the delivery time and the order came half an hour late. The burger patty was slightly raw and the chips were cold. Ended up getting food poisoning the next day from the burger. Would not recommend.

Every time I order late , they give half portion when I paid for full. I ordered donner meat and received less than half of full portion.I rang but no answer.
