Loved this place a year ago, returned and quality has just gone to rubbish- eggs were discusting, waffles were premade toaster waffles and portions have halfed in size. Was the worst breakfast I’ve had in a long time

Good English breakfast. Standard eclectic dishes done well. Apple pie and ice cream was made in a really classic diner style. Also no thrills but enjoyable. Setting is eclectic

Been coming here for years, Iggy & Magda are absolute sweethearts, and the food is consistently excellent, best fry up in town. We love the place. Plus: I am gluten-intolerant, so their omelettes are a go to option for me that I anticipate every time! Update to review: I have eaten here countless of times now, and we are absolutely in love with Battersea Grill - never had a bad meal. Also shoutout to the cook who is super nice. They also have lots of healthy breakfast options. Recently brought my dog and she was spoiled rotten with her own breakfast plate and lots of staff attention ❤️ So adding another five stars from my dog who is begging every day to be taken to Battersea Grill.

Good range of decent food and the best cup of tea in the immediate area (2 other cafes I tried nearby use weird teabags). Been a few times and they never disappoint.

This place is very nice and original breakfast place its food is all fresh and they have a extremely wide variety of foods and the service is not lacking anything at all and all servers are kind and efficient in their work and I liked the simple and clean atmosphere with all tables cleaned before a new customer settles in and overall I recommend you to go for breakfast and it’s very affordable.

The worst cafe I’ve ever been, they served expired smoke salmon and it’s been 5 days we are still sick and we were about to die because of food poisoning! I hope they won’t do it to other people, please respect other people’s lives.

Got the American big breakfast, very disappointed, value for money was poor. The pancakes, maple syrup and side of clotted cream was nice though

The great Battersea Grill team never fail to deliver wholesome, cost effective and incredibly delicious meals for my family and I over the last twenty years or so. Services good food burnt toilets disgusting need a good clean place is pleasant but food rushed and burnt sausages looked like they had been cremated or re cooked over and over again

Really great unexpected find for a perfect Sunday brunch. This no posh food joint but if you are after a delicious breakfast (and they have a huge range you cannot get better than this. The fact it's affordable despite being in Battersea makes it extra special. Friendly and welcoming team too.

Appalling ordered the full breakfast mushrooms where cold, tomato raw toast not toasted we use it quite regularly will not be going back

We both had the Full Breakfast, I asked for no tomato but black pudding to be substituted which was done correctly. I'll itemise each ingredient as follows. 1. Sausages cooked well but pretty tasteless 2. Bacon nice, cooked well but only 1 piece 3. Eggs overcooked and dried out/rubbery 4. Black pudding not cooked enough, should have a slight crust on outside and soft filling, it was like rubber. 5. Mushrooms, swimming in grease. 6. Tomato, half a tomato...really? You couldn't even let him have a whole small tomato? Tea & coffee were fine and in large mugs so thumbs up there. I asked my friend for his opinion without mentioning anything whilst we ate and he said exactly what I thought, greasy, overcooked and meagre portions. They have a sign up saying "Battersea's best diner", not even close on the strength of today's offerings I'm afraid.

Great place for brunch. A lot of choice and very reasonably priced too. The eggs were cooked perfectly and the French Toast was spot on. And options for those who prefer a healthier choice

My local for brunch! Always nice breakfast and quick service 😊 Everything in the menu is prepared very tasty. Orange juice there is so good! 🍊🍊 Very reasonable prices. They offer brunch but there are other options in the menu as well, healthy options included. They serve alcohol as well as soft drinks.

Greasy spoon with good service and the seats in the front are great for people watching.

I have been going on and off for years. Always received my whole order, it'snever cold or messed up. It is always nicely prepared and tastes great. I have recently moved to another area but I would definitely go back and dine here again.

Magda and Co are lovely, foods always good and the service is quick and friendly.

Still favourite! I have been coming years ago. Now back in the area and not disappointed. Service and food great as always. Old staples with new twists like Healthy Brunch with avocado sourdough and haloumi - delicious. They have even started new KETO trend. Love this place!

Really enjoyable breakfast with my eight year old daughter, who had the spaghetti bolognese and a vanilla milkshake. "I never want to eat anywhere else," were her exact words, not unlike mine when I first ate donor kebab at the same age and vowed never to eat anything but again! Great place to start or end the day, or the replenish yourself after a trip to Battersea Park.

My family went for brunch and were paying our £40 bill when I noticed a 50p charge for open drink. When I questioned this I was informed it was for a cup of hot water !!! WHAT..... that is so mean and unacceptable in my opinion.

Very friendly waiting staff. Amazingly patient with disabled service users. All round great place with good food.

This is my favourite cafe by far, the service and food is impeccable. Staff are always happy and welcoming, they make sure you are happy with your meal. I would highly reccomend this cafe.

An institution which has stood the rest of time. Great English breakfast all day long. It has one of the most extensive menus to choose from with plenty of options for vegetarians. Even though a bit snug It accommodates large groups well too. Has a steady stream of patrons who will frequent this place. Hearty large portions, to fill up your appetite and lovely, efficient staff and service to ensure you can get well served during the lunch hour rush. Definitely must if you happen to be in the neighbourhood and looking for a quick bite..

Good value Greasy Spoon with excellent service!

Had an OK breakfast here when I was working in the area.

Waited and waited and waited, eventually got served then waited and waited for cold beans, hard eggs and tomatoes that wasn't cooked only on the outside, so terrible food and very slow service from very nice waitress. I think this cafe only survives because there isn't another anywhere near.

Needs two staff to do the service, one is not enough, one cafe took 15 minutes to came, but can't blame the girl was working .

Visited this cafe for a quick birthday brunch with the family. After visiting here in the past it seemed like a decent idea. However we were proven wrong right from the offset. As we arrived we were told the card machine wasn’t working, however shortly after we witness another customer paying by card. It took roughly 20 minuets for our order to be taken. The lady wearing the head scarf took our order and was extremely rude. It was clear she did not want to be there. We had asked for some fruit for the baby to which she told us they did not have any. We knew this was not true as they sell fresh fruit smoothies and blatantly had a bowl on display. After 45 minuets one out of 6 meals arrived at our table, however instead of rice we were given chips, when we asked why we were informed they had ran out of rice! (It would have been nice to have been told this before hand) Then the drinks started to arrive after 50 minuets from placing the order! Slowly but surely with 15 minuets between the first meal we received all other meals. Leaving the childs meal until last. Which she was only given half of her meal and we had to ask for the other half. After speaking with the manager we received a discount, although this discount did not warrant all the mistakes made, the rude waitress and the horrendous waiting time. I can honestly say this is not a place we would go back to nor would we recommend. Extremely disappointing, the standard of this restaurant were absolutely appalling. The only person who seemed to be doing their absolute best was the young girl who was completely rushed of her feet.

BG Grill is very nice. The food is always well prepared and the service is outstanding. The person who helped is Vee. She’s a warm cheerful person who was happy to see us every morning of our holiday. Highly recommend

Ok. Bit pricey for a greasy spoon but the menu had a huge selection so something for everyone. Really busy at liunchtime but quiet early morning and afternoon. Food average but with decent portions.

This is a great little place on Battersea Bridge Road with disabled parking available outside plus one space. However, there are also two side roads with plenty of parking. I advise you to look at the menu online as the breakfast choices are many. English style and American style, with refined dishes such as Eggs Florentine to the Lumbarjack breakfast with pancakes, bacon, clotted cream, sausage patties and maple syrup. During our most recent visit we all start with the fresh orange juice which is hand squeezed, and then we had the homemade steak pie divine, lasagna which was gloriously was unctuous and the mega omelette! Come hungry and go home very happy ***** 5stars

What a find! We were walking back from Wandsworth to the centre of town on a Sunday morning (having decided to pass on the strangely-named "breakfast" at Travelodge) and came across the Battersea Grill. The place is clean and bright, the staff are friendly and efficient, and the menu was very extensive (I don't think I have ever seen such a choice of omelettes in any restaurant.) The restaurant has a very local feel and you can easily see that you are really dropping in on neighbours. Great food, great coffee (in good sized mugs) and great prices.

Personale gentile, ambiente simpatico, abbastanza veloci nel servizio. Prezzi giusti. Ci vado spesso con mio nipote che ama questo posto. Unica pecca il bagno ma mica si può avere tutto. Prossimo viaggio a Londra ci torno sempre con mio nipote

if you are hungry and love english breakfasts and every other type of cooked breakfasts this is the place to go. huge portions, great quality and friendly service. Prices are very good for the volume of food.

Worst burger (super salty and from frozen). I've ever had, with cold greesy chips. Could not eat any of that. In the toilets no hand dryer, no paper towel and ice cold water from the taps. Didn't expect this low quality in such posh location. Avoid

Full English breakfast 🍳 was good but no choice of eggs, only fried. You do get poached eggs with the eggs benedict though and it is pretty good. Club sandwich 🥪 is good but fat should be cut off bacon 🥓 and description /picture on Uber could really be more accurate.

Terrible experience! Prices different to that written on the board. Their reason for charging me more was because 'the boss was too lazy to change it'. Refused to refund me the difference and staff were rude. Sandwich was rubbish as well. AVOID AVOID AVOID

This place is great. How they manage to put on such a huge menu I don't know but this place is nice, clean has great food, nice staff, does take away and is well priced. Try the Eggs Benedict Royal, my fave.

Very good breakfast and super fast service

Battersea Grill restaurant is a spectacular place to eat for all ages, the service there is wonderful, the employees are very polite and respectful to the customers. Inside the restaurant is well presented in making a homely atomsphere, by adding decorations such as picture of landscape; there is also a tiny area for which young children can play in. For warm sunny days, there are tables and chairs outside, while still having protection from the sun. The restaurant has a huge range of menu, including some delicious vegetarian options, completing with a very reasonable prices.

Me decidí a buscar un poco decente para un buen brunch favorito antiguo. Y qué delicia. Justo antes del puente battersea este lugar tiene un menú muy variado. Tienen algunas opciones de desayuno, pero para mí tenía que ser el "Gran desayuno". La mejor relación calidad-precio a sólo 6 libras. 50. Hay gente acudir.

Mi familia y yo fuimos un domingo por la mañana alrededor de las 9 de la mañana para el desayuno, y tuvimos una comida perfecta. El lugar estaba bastante vacío (que era sorprendente! ) y tuvimos servicio rápido, y muchas opciones para elegir.
