Sorry, the food tasted really nice. It meant to be a good review. It got saved while I was typing and wasn't too sure how to change it.

Today I was at the restaurant, I had a great experience, my partner and I ordered pasta and it was excellent, the chef and the waiter are lovely people and the service was great.

My favourite Italian in London. This independent family run Italian has a cosy authentic atmosphere. The food is freshly made and very good quality for a very reasonable price. Staff are really friendly and offered to tailor one of the dishes to my partners taste. Been back many times.

Stopped in early on a Saturday night for dinner as I’ve passed this restaurant multiple times and finally made it in to dine. The menu is straightforward and the food is absolutely delicious- pasta cooked to perfection and all the flavors complimenting each other. I went for the carbonara, good flavor and generous bits of bacon, and had olives to start which were marinated very nicely in herbs. Absolute gem of a place, will definitely be back!

Amazing food and really great atmosphere! I am gluten free and they took care with all my allergies. They have gluten free pizza and pasta available and starters that are naturally gluten free!

UPDATED: After incredibly rude response that we don’t understand how this is true or fair, would just say avoid, “CCTV” would also show part of the pizza was eaten hence the issue and would like to see this footage that shows this discussion. See response below. Eating in, ordered a gluten free pizza, wasn’t gluten free and I had to leave to be ill afterwards- girlfriend paid £23 for her she had to put in a takeaway pizza box on an evening together and are regulars- couldn’t be more angry with this experience, was apologised to but felt insincere. Need to not advertise gluten free if this can happen, not coeliac friendly. Tried calling twice to ask about this there is no email, but once no answer and the second couldn’t hear me.

Great local restaurant, with tables inside or out the back( heaters too). Really good carbonara ( eggs + cream ), rich and tasty. Pizza ovens, the wotks. Good value, fun and not a chain. Thank you.

Lovely local spot, we ate in the garden and it was perfect with the summer evening! Food very yummy. They were clearly very busy (it's a popular spot!) but did their best to serve food and drinks in a timely manner. Very lovely place and I highly recommend the sausage and broccoli gnocchi!

We came here after a long, cold day exploring London and it was just perfect! The food was absolutely delicious and the ambiance was so cosy. We sat by the fire on big comfy chairs. The house red wine was simply divine and the pizza was one of the best we’ve had. Could not recommend this lovely little place enough. Our waiter was also so lovely. Thank you ☺️

Came in with my boyfriend and some friends, we sat by the window. Was a lovely vibe and the food was amazing. I had a specials started and a pizza for main. The food and drinks were all amazing and our server was super polite. Would 100% recommend!!

Service fine although 12.5% tip when instructed that we had to re-use our cutlery from our starter for our main meal. Pasta was stuck together from the bolognaise and gnocchi oily. Seemed as though it had been microwaved last minute. Starters of calamari and whitebait good but portion size for the calamari was small for £9. Didn’t have desert. Menus were greasy as well. Went to Tesco on way home as still hungry which isn’t a sign of a good meal.

Caroline was incredible, she was a brilliant hostess. One of the most perfect dates with my partner that I have had in Putney. The food was exceptional, the atmosphere was fantastic and the service was brilliant. So friendly, very efficient and everything was served in perfect timing.

Don't go on a Sunday! We were hussled out, plates taken before we had finished eating, and no coffee at 9pm because the machine was switched off. Shame, because we enjoyed the food. Please warn customers when booking

Best Pizza Express I've ever been to. Food was delicious, and the staff were absolutely amazing.

I have used this restaurant in Putney weekly since it opened. It is a very rare example of quality service, food and a truely Italian experience in simplicity. It is a friendly family restaurant with a great atmosphere. I have great pleasure writing this referral but do so with trepidation, as I am afraid it will get too busy and I will not be able to book a table in the future. A do not miss venue.

I booked a table for 2 for dinner to celebrate a birthday here. I made the booking 4 days in advance and I specifically said it was for a birthday celebration. I received confirmation of my booking the next day. Then just over 1 hour before we were supposed to be going I received an email cancelling my table with no explanation whatsoever ! No phone call either and they had my number. I think this is disgraceful especially as it was for a birthday celebration which they knew. This is no way to treat a prospective customer. Be wary in case they do the same to you !

The most amazing food from start to finish. Every dish was delectable. My father especially loved the chef’s calf liver specialty & we enjoyed the various pasta dishes so much. Can’t wait to visit again.

La Casa Mia was on my list since together with my partner we moved in to Putney. We both love Italian cuisine. Interior very typical for place like this with interesting execution of lighting which is placed on small ladders under the ceiling. Awaiting time for starters and mains is reasonable. I have had homemade pasta alla carbonara which was very nice but the main surprise was actually pizza which was served in the way I've never seen before. Dough was closed like dumpling inside you have had all of toppings and on top was tomato souse with cheese. My partner said it was the best he ever have had and we definitely will be back to have it again!

If a place like this is averaging 4.4 stars, that just shows how many people have no idea what good food is. I knew from the moment I finished my Italian sausage + broccoli pizza that I would get food poisoning. The pizza had hardly any tomato sauce, was very oily and the sausage was obviously not fresh. £3.60 for a glass of coke was also a joke.

We had a great night at this restaurant. The service was fast and friendly. The Aperol Spritz were excellent, along with the Calamari and Pasta dishes we ordered. I would definitely recommend this place

I live quite close and always wanted to go there. My friend is vegan so I called ahead to make sure they had options, which they said they did. We started with the pomodoro bruchetta which came with 1kg of red onions (?????) and almost no basil. It didnt taste bad, but definitely not great. I mentioned more than once that my friend was vegan to the waiter. I ve ordered the salmon gnocchi, that they say is fresh. The sauce is good but if that was fresh, i think should probably try frozen pasta then. Now the biggest disappointment. My friend ordered de CASARECCE ALL' ARRABIATA Casarecce with garlic, chilli, fresh parsley & tomato sauce. As you can see, no cheese right? WRONG. It had cheese in it that my friend after a few bites could tell that it was not vegan cheese. The waiter called the chef, that sent us the cheese packaging which on the front had “no animal rennet”. However, on the back clearly says it contains egg and milk. The chef never even read the goddamn thing and serves that dish to vegans everyday. The chef is the manager and obviously did not know what he was doing. Removed his dish from the bill but ruined our planned evening completely and my friend felt sick all night. I will never go back there. Specially cause he clearly did not care about us leaving with a good impression of him or the “restaurant”.

This is a really great restaurant. We'll worth a visit. I had a steak that was cooked to perfection and the pizzas looked fab. Staff were friendly and efficient. Can't wait to go back.

The food was perfectly nice and well priced. The staff is very welcoming, it's a nice little cosy restaurant. The only thing that annoyed me was the £3 basket of bread that limp as if it was just taken out the microwave.

Wouldn't recommend going here if you ever want to be served. Taken to our table, no one came over for 25 minutes. Staff completely inattentive. We ended up leaving. The food may well be nice, but we never got to find out.

Visited on a warm evening. The back outside area was very nice. The staff were lovely especially the waitress Gabriella. Our starters were very good and mains which were Pizza's were good, but not great. Will visit again.

I have been few times already to La casa mia and I was really happy with the food and with the service, but yesterday I found out that finally Vegan Cheese option is available for the pizza! I enjoy my vegan pizza a lot! Thank you Thomas for the wonderful surprise! Pizza Buonissima!

Very good food. Excellent customer service, deliveroo made a mistake with our order but the restaurant very kindly made us another pizza and threw in a complimentary tiramisu. Would definitely recommend, we shall be returning customers. Thanks again.

Visited for dinner, although a Saturday night not busy and able to sit in a nice garden area out the back of the restaurant. Excellent choice of foods on the menu and a nice wine list reasonably priced. Our starters were massive. Both had pizzas as mains. Nice thin bases with plenty of topping. We also ordered fries, which didn't arrive but were still on the bill (removed once queried). Limited choice of desserts but too full by then anyway. This restaurant adds a service charge, so be aware if you usually add a tip.

Delicious homemade pizza, pasta and deserts. With a couple of extra delicious vegan options too! Plus the family running the restaurant are incredibly friendly. Also the place is cozy and beautiful and has a wonderful terrace for the summer time. Really good. Strongly recommend!

I have been to the restaurant twice now. Food was excellent both times. 1st time I had the pizza which was very rich in flavour. Second time I went for the steak and it was cooked to perfection. I would highly recommend this restaurant as food is delicious and prices are fair. Tomas (the owner) personally came and talked to us for which was a nice personal touch. Good (not wow) Italian food at good prices. The olives and the sautéed potatoes were the standout dishes. Really nice, warm, enclosed outdoor area at the back.

Updating review for current covid situation. Just had a lovely meal. Courtyard at back has plenty of heaters and good protection from wind. There are only a few tables covered from rain but otherwise very cosy and working really well. Food is really good with great choice and range. Definitely recommend and looking forward to lockdown restrictions easing.

I got the mushroom pasta with truffle oil- it was supposed to be creaky but it had no cream and it was disgusting. The chef tried to say he added cream and that I couldn't get a refund but it was dry and horrible. It was a delivery and he said I should come back In with it. He said it sitting there for 20 minutes is why it had no cream which is rubbish

I stumbled across this restaurant by pure chance and it was an unexpected surprise. Being Italian living in the UK for the past 20 odd years it brought back memories of honest homely Italian food. The place is unpretentious, but the food is cooked from scratch and the vibe is excellent. Definitely worth a visit or two. Bravo!

My partner and I booked here through The Fork to celebrate our anniversary. The manager and waiter were very rude to us and would not honour my booking, saying the restaurant had "nothing to do with The Fork". Obviously his greedy nature wanted to take full advantage of the last night before lockdown and offered us a table in the garden without the 50% off. He was very belligerent and I did not take kindly to that. Suffice to say I wouldn't go back there if you paid me.

Wonderful service from Thomas tonight. He surprised us with his language skills, speaking French. Appreciate the service, attention and all around genuine kindness. I have been to La Casa Mia 3 times now and the food is delicious and the service is always on point. Many thanks Thomas

I showed my share of the bill on my mobile phone, as I wanted to treat my friend and the waiter said the bill price out loud! We’ve been having some fabulous pizzas delivered from here recently. The seafood pasta is also incredible. Can’t wait until they reopen and we can visit it person. Highly recommended!
