We've eaten here several times and the food is consistently good. When they opened right next to mother popular Italian restaurant, we did question the wisdom but it really is in a different class. Fresh, authentic ingredients and a personal welcome.

While I had a great experience on my first visit to Sushi Cafe, my second was quite disappointing. The portions were smaller than before, which was a letdown. Unfortunately, I also suspect I got food poisoning from the fried oysters, as I experienced symptoms straight after the meal. Additionally, although the restaurant allows bookings up until an hour before closing, the kitchen actually closes 30 minutes earlier, which made us feel rushed. I hope the restaurant can address these issues for future visits, as their sushi and sashimi were otherwise really good.

Great Italian and very buzzy atmosphere just before Christmas. Good Negroni and very good crab linguine. I didn’t have it but the lady dining at the next table had Minestrone soup which looked amazing and she confirmed it was.
