During a 4 day visit to Bath this is the only food establishment we visited twice. The caretaker management are friendly and really helpful. We tried various cakes, pastries, teas and drinks and loved every mouthful. It’s not cheap but nothing in Bath is Total enjoyment. Try it for yourself

My friend was desperate to try a Bath bun and so we eventually found this lovely little establishment in a side street. They were so busy that we had to wait for a table but it was only a few minutes. The buns were brilliant and the service efficient and friendly. However, whether I missed the small print I cannot say but I object to a gratuity being added to the bill. If I wish to give a tip, then that’s my prerogative but I do not want it added without my knowledge. As such, I will not be visiting again.

I wanted to taste a bath bun on my visit to the city. Great location and was not disappointed with my bath bun experience. Despite being very busy service was friendly and efficient. Enjoyed my bath bun with jam and cream with a good selection of teas to accompany my bun. There are cheaper alternatives but certainly are not as authentic.

We went to this tea room and sat outside as a family of 5 . The lady was super friendly and gave us menus straight away . The food is all cooked fresh so there is a wait however we don’t mind as we would rather food be fresh for each order . The man was also very friendly and it’s in a gorgeous peaceful area to sit back and enjoy lunch . We then enjoyed the bath buns that were large and really tasty with jam and cream . We will defo be back next month when we are back down here.

This is a lovely spot to sit and watch the world go by. We were seated very quickly and had the table cleaned for us. We gave our order to a very friendly member of staff. Then we waited... and waited. And waited some more. Almost 40 minutes for two paninis!! We enquired twice, to be told vey apologetically that they'd been busy with a large group order if 9 had arrived and our order was next. Fair enough. Then after another 20 minutes, upon enquiring again was told it would be here 'soon' as a party of '12' had been served (?). Another ten minutes and I asked for the bill for the drinks as we'd waited long enough. However, two ladies who arrived much later than us were served their meals within ten minutes! Our food was then arrived. The food was ok - nothing special. The staff were very apologetic. Unfortunately this has put us off returning.

Absolutely wonderful place for lunch and/or tea. We went twice. The first day we had lunch - a cheese sharing platter which was divine. The second day for tea and cake. The selection of teas are fabulous, the citrus rooibus and budda green tea were both gorgeous and the bath bun cream tea was delectable. Service, atmosphere, everything, all great (and much nicer than Sally Lunns)

Hmmm. Despite offering takeout, we were told that they didn’t have enough Bath Buns for takeaway. Fair enough; it was 3pm on the Saturday after Christmas. 20 minutes later we returned to eat-in and two different customers bought Bath Buns to takeout. Perhaps it was a different server. I’ll give them the benefit of the doubt. But £14:30 for two teas and two buns with butter was excessive. Bath doesn’t impose a tourist tax, perhaps this is it

Whilst staying in Bath for a couple of days we wanted to visit Sally Lunn's but were put off by the very long queue. However that was a stroke of luck for us because we thought we would try The Bath Bun Tea Shoppe instead. We were very fortunate to arrive just as a couple of tables came free and so we ordered some Bath Buns and a panini. I was disappointed that I had chosen the panini when everything arrived because although it was delicious, I was envious of the Bath Buns that everybody else had ordered and devoured. Not only was the food delicious, but the service was also excellent and very friendly. Would highly recommend.

AWFUL SERVICE!!!! Rude and disrespectful. We will not be returning to farrington. We haven’t been for very long time because the service is always a bit off, but we thought we would be give a chance. But sure enough it let us down AGAIN!! We will go to other cafes that are welcoming, friendly and respectful. Which are not far away from farrington. Farrington appears to be friendly little family run business, but it is actually not that it’s a large group that clearly treat their staff badly and it shows.

I went in with a friend and immediately got asked to sit outside for some unspecified reason, Sat outside and was then told I looked too ‘chavy’ by a lady who really didn’t look too much better imo. Since when does clothing define your personality?

If you are looking to hold a function here I wouldn't bother! Trying to charge the family of a regular who probably spent thousands in this pub over the past few years - over £800 to hold his wake here! And they don't even close the pub off for private functions! 😂 oh and they tried stealing the car of the man who passed away by hiding it at the back of the pub!

The staff are progressively turning this once fine peaceful cafe into their own play area. Not somewhere any more for a quiet coffee , a read, and a respectful chat. Neros make a play on being a traditional coffee house. They were; this isn’t. Sad.

Cute place. Cold, disgusting coffee (latte and chai latte), no art. The chai latte tasted like it had come from a bag. Burnt cinnamon. Rude customer service. The young man at the front with black hair put down the wrong order, then almost tried to argue with my partner when she said that the wrong food had come out. The Yorkshire pudding wrap didn’t come with a side of gravy as promised. None of the tables were bussed/clean. The young blonde was very kind however. She promptly fixed the issue and apologized. The other man must’ve been new. Won’t be coming back.
