Went for a quiet drink with my brother very good service and friendly staff. Found the place a bit too quiet for a Saturday night but it suited us

Brilliant pub located just around the corner from the airport hotels so a great spot to escape to. Very reasonably priced ales, clean area and friendly staff. Would thoroughly recommend dropping in.

No food currently however I like it as it's a much quieter pub than some in the area and there's plenty of seating areas and parking outside. The pub is almost parallel with Inspire Gym and close to Stopsley village with stores and connections close by should you need transport or a stop at a store to pickup takeaway or food in general. Gregg's is also close by at Jansel House. I would definitely stop here again for a drink and catch-up like I did on this stop off. The ladies inside are very nice and give a good service. TV screens around but not all were on in this occasion.

Highly recommend this pub. Staff are friendly and helpful. Evelyn, the manager, was great when we went to organise a funeral reception. She made the process easy. And on the day it went smoothly and the buffet was excellent. Thank you

Always a good night when we visit the barrels

Pleasantly surprised. My local which I hadn't used before that was made to feel welcome by some excellent friendly staff and good beer. Will definitely be paying more visits soon. UPDATE The new landlady is awesome and is working hard to make this a family boozer. Great work 👍🏻 Apparently they will be getting an outside refresh and the name might be changing too?

Great friendly pub on the outskirts of Luton. Pool, darts and football on the tv . Decent beers too . Well worth a visit

I visited the pubs reopening recently. It’s been renovated with new owners and management. Great atmosphere with a lovely beer garden. Family friendly vibes and great selection of drinks at a good price. The pub looks fresh and has a lot parking out front. I enjoyed playing pool and darts, and was served with a big smile. Will definitely visit again.

Lovely ladies now service with a smile and chat. Quiet presently but that's fab for playing pool and darts. Lush cocktails at good prices too!! Wish new management all the best!

Lovely pub relaxed atmosphere, very friendly and welcoming bar staff. It was nice to see fully stocked fridges with a good selection of chilled ciders and lagers. Huge choice of spirits and beers. Sat in the garden, which, might I add was very clean - bar staff came out to clear empty glasses regularly. Food is fresh, made on the premises - very tasty burgers. They have had a birthday party and several wakes held there, always handy to know. In general the pub was very clean, and tidy, including the toilets!!!!!

Is a good spot for chill out. But no food provided and can't do and outside delivery service. Bar tender show bad manner on us while we eat outside the shop.

Would recommend The Barrels following our mother's funeral gathering - thank you Sean for providing everything we needed. The buffet was excellent and plenty for everyone at a good price. We were grateful to spend as much time as we needed with family and friends who we had not seen for some time.

Lovely pub. We went there yesterday after our mothers funeral. Lisa has been great, helpful and friendly, letting us meet and set up a photo board prior to the funeral. she did an excellent buffet for us, with plenty to go round. Fantastic value for money. We cant thank you and your staff for all your hard work

Local pub that appears to have just reopened with a new bar manager. He seems to be a really friendly guy so hopefully will have a long and prosperous stay. The beers are mainly Heineken owned but do have a decent range including a Blade machine with Heineken 0.0. It's layed out with some tables and some smaller booths offering is a different way to split up the seating. Each of the booths has it's own flat screen TV which I thought was a brilliant idea as rather than having to just stare at the usual screen on a wall you have a choice to stay with your party or partner. There will be food in the next couple of weeks so will give them a try again after that. Post Covid the pub's owner has taken over from the management team and is trying to return it to a family local. The area is crying out for this,so good luck.

Ahhhh the Barrels....my old local. After living within a minute's walk of this pub I reckon I could count on 2 hands the number of times I've actually been in it. Was a good venue for a catch up.

A nice bar to go too. An edge of out of town bar for locals n visitors. Big area too. Land lady very polite.

Opened beer garden. Nice service. Tasty food.

Lovely pub. We went there today after our Aunts funeral. The new landlord Jason was great and did an excellent buffet for us. He was very accommodating. Prices were excellent too. Thanks to Jason & staff for your hard work.

they currently have a "Rocking Rudolph" badge on one of their ale pumps, but that is not what is being sold...lovely staff though...

Although there was only one cask ale on it was in good condition wasn't too mainstream and reasonable priced.

Not a bad pub with a good selection of drinks. However it seems to get very few customers possibly due to there being no food available. Also certain bar staff are clueless about the make up of some of the most basic of drinks. Can see this pub closing sooner than later when with a bit of effort it surely could be buzzing. Will wait and see.

Beer was OK but the food wasn't up to much.

Family run pub, can tell who the regulars are, tv screens in each booth, sporty kind of pub

New management, looking promising. Beer not the cheapest in town though.

Hit and miss as to whether they'll have decent beer on, the food was pretty ropey and the staff weren't really in a rush to serve people. Such a shame. It could be a great family pub but it definitely isn't!

Since its refurbishment, the pub is now a real hub of the community. With a no nonsense bar manager who has turned it back into a family orientated pub. Good for a summers evening in the garden, or to watch a game on one of the many T.V screens. Well worth a visit on passing.
