Brim and Crown in Luton

Love the Brim and Crown in my local for years. Made a lot of friends in there of the years. We have had some good party there. The banter has always been good.

I recently enjoyed a Sunday roast at The Brim & Crown in Luton, and it was a fantastic experience. The pub has a welcoming atmosphere with friendly staff who made sure we were well taken care of. The Sunday roast was delicious. I opted for the beef, which was cooked to perfection – tender and flavorful. The vegetables were fresh and perfectly cooked, and the roast potatoes were crispy on the outside and fluffy on the inside. The gravy tied everything together beautifully. The portion sizes were generous, and the presentation was excellent. Despite being busy, the service was attentive, and the wait for food was reasonable. The pub itself has a cozy interior and a nice outdoor seating area, making it a great spot to relax and enjoy a meal. Overall, the Sunday roast at The Brim & Crown was a delightful experience, and I highly recommend it for anyone looking for a hearty, well-cooked meal in a friendly setting. I look forward to returning soon!

Great independent pub serving real food... Which is a rarity these days... Reasonably priced and nice decor.... The burgers are very nice as are the chicken wings.. But have plenty of napkins on hand as it can get a bit messy.. Or maybe thats just me 🤔🤷🤣🤣

We phoned ahead to check if they had availability and they did so we asked for a table for three the food was amazing the service was excellent and the quality and quantity was fantastic I would highly recommend this pub restaurant to my friends

A very good-sized portion for the Sunday roast. The beef was excellent, and the vegetables were cooked just right. Service was friendly, although a little slow, but the food was worth the wait.

The best tasting meat and proper chips fantasic

Very few diners on a Thursday night, which was lucky as there was only 1 person serving. Couldn't find any staff to help when my friend was choking to ask for water!. Quite expensive for the lamb kebabs. Should have gone for a couple of starters i think rather than a main. I don't think I will be back 😕

Fantastic food, could do with a better beer selection. Also there were a number of college students in the beer garden who were all drinking, though I believe a number of them were under age. I could be incorrect but drinks shouldn't be served to groups such as these due to over 18s purchasing on behalf of their friends. As a personal alcohol licence holder, I don't feel that adequate precautions were taken. The entire group should have been age checked regardless and denial of service implemented if any were seen to be drinking. This was the main reason they sat outside.

A lovely meal over the Christmas holidays celebrating a birthday

Went to visit the restaurant part of the pub. The foid is quite tasty, I had no complaints. We had salmon pasta and pizza, and all tasted very fresh and goid. The restaurant part is separated by a fence, so it's very strange as you kinda have to ask yourself there, then walk around, so it can be a little confusing, and there is still that glorious pub toilet smell, that's why I have taken one star off the review. But overall it's pretty good!

Went for lunch there, service was friendly but a bit slow which means some of the food was cold by the time it was served to us (possible due to lots of people on the bar side).

Nice pub with friendly staff. Used to visit here in the mid 80's but hadn't been back for years. More family orientated now rather than a night spot. Little bit in need of redecorating outside but not horrendous.

Fabulous lunch at the Brim and Crown. 3 of us had pizzas which were superb - lovely crisp dough, generous toppings and piping hot. We also had the meat skewers and fish & chips, all of which were really tasty too. Kudos to Sam the chef. Amazing value, and excellent service from Ash. We’ll definitely be back, a great find in a convenient location.

It depends what you want in a pub. I'm an ale drinker, so that was me out. I had a Guinness (a safe standby when there's no decent ale) which was average. I asked for a glass of water as well and the person looked at me as though I'd asked for a urine sample. I understand that a glass of water is not exactly a money spinner, but if you want me to come back and buy another bog average pint, try and hide your disdain.

Stood at bar for 20 minutes waiting to be served. Lack of staff who had no clue how to serve. Kept choosing regular punters rather than those that had been waiting ages. Staff member was rude

We only really pop here for a drink on the odd occasion. Looks nice . The seats arnt the greatest if your there for a long time , quite a few tall seats . There is a menu but yet to try as it's a pub really that's a wet pub . There's a good crowd in there and attracts the youngsters of a weekend evening . In comparison 2 the other local pubs in the area the drink prices are the highest here , so 4 me it's a lower star 🌟 Staff are lovely

Previously called the Bramingham Pub, this place was always a bit of an 'old people's pub'. On the past few occasions I've visited the crowd has completely changed. It now attracts a much younger clientele, and is much louder or boisterous than previous years. This is not a bad thing for the pub as a business, as it was always quite empty previously, whereas now there is always a nice number of customers. The crowd, although young and energetic are fairly a placid bunch and not overly rowdy or troublesome. The growth in business has probably come about as a result of other local pubs being closed (Bushmead and Marsh Farm). The drinks are good, the service is a little slow at times but same as any pub during busy times. Bar staff need better training to remember who lined up first rather than whoever puts their hand out the farthest. Food and carvery was good previously, but cannot comment on how it is now. Plenty of parking outside. Nice outdoor area for families with play apparatus for young ones. Pool table indoors which is always busy. Overall a decent local pub, clean, plenty of seating inside and out.

The BEST pizzas in Luton and the Cajun fries are excellent. Chef Sam is incredible and the food here is brilliant. For anyone who is a fan of seafood pizza, I highly recommend the Nepolitana (I prefer it with tuna instead of capers though - which Chef Sam happily obliges with!)

Wow! Absolutely phenomenal food! I was not expecting this level of Craft and finesse for flavour in a local pub! Best quality of food I’ve had in this area. Would highly recommend! It’s honestly such a treat for your taste buds. So much appreciation for the chef!

I went to the brim and Crown on Saturday to watch the football. I could not belive the state of the garden. Broken fences and furniture, dead leaves and cigarette butts everywhere. After a hour or so i started to feel a bit hungry so I ordered beef burger and chips kid's meal. Only to be told new rules. You can't have it because I'm over 12. I've had this meal many times before. I definitely won't be eating there ever again. Dissatisfied.

5star restaurant food quality and service!!!

First visit and it was a pleasant one. The Brim and Crown was very clean with a good car park. The menu had a wonderful choice and it was difficult to decide what to have. The food when came was delicious and hot. Very attentive staff.

A lot of reviews for this pub say how great the staff are, I whish I could say the same, but the problem is I never meet any! I went in and stood at the bar for a long time, no staff in sight, could not even see any cleaning tables ect, was a lot of people in the pub with drinks, so at some point there must have been someone serving. But I and my partner was the only customers at the bar and now there was no staff, so we gave up and left, and walked to the next pub. Ps the time was about 7pm.

We went over to the Brim and Crown as its our local and a friendly pub with a lovely landlady. We sat in the garden as it was lovely day and ordered our drinks After a while we had to ask for the drinks we had ordered and then when they arrived they were not the drinks we ordered. Such a shame as we love this pub being our local and although we understand that two runners may not have been enough on a hot day the service was dreadfull.

Good place to pop in for a drink. They do a very nice gin and tonic! Can't comment on food as not eaten there for a very long time!

Four of us had lunch at the Brim and Crown.The staff are very friendly and helpful. The meals are large and very tasty (× 2 vegetarian meals)and very good value for money. This is a lovely pub for great food.

We celebrated a birthday at the Brim and Crown today. The food was extremely good and very tasty. Lovely staff too! Will definitely be back. Anybody in Luton should give this place a try. You won't be disappointed!

Ok pub, service is quick, some of the beers a bit flat

Lively estate pub near Sainsbury's in Bramingham. Good range of beers, loads of TVs for the footy, live bands etc. Good atmosphere, with the added bonus of door staff makes for a decent venue.

Contactless machine not working so had to use cash nice inside pub area garden could do with more plants

Disappointed with their family fun day, only had a bouncy castle and face painting.... Not what was advertised
