We always love our meal at the Harvester Chichester

Lucy our waitress was absolutely brilliant and made our first visit a very pleasant one.

Lauren was an excellent waitress and went above and beyond to help our family. Good value for money. Highly recommend!

Had a lovely meal here today, friendly staff from the moment you step inside, to when you depart for home, with bellies well fed and watered. Honest food you don't have to take out a second mortgage for! Haven't been in a harvester for ages, wasn't disappointed at all.

Siete de nosotros amigos almorzamos el sábado, y uno del grupo extravió su tarjeta de crédito, buscamos por todas partes, volviendo al bar, mirando debajo de la mesa, etc. Se dio cuenta de que lo vio por última vez al elegir en el menú. Preguntamos al gerente, y los menús se habían entregado de nuevo. Recorrió todas las mesas para comprobarlo, pero no tuvo suerte. Nuestra camarera también fue muy servicial (lo siento, se me olvidó conseguir su nombre) , pero no pararon de buscar. La gerente iba a tomar detalles, si se encuentra que podría contactar con nosotros. Pero cuando fuimos a dejarlo lo encontramos en un bolsillo de la chaqueta, que habíamos perdido durante nuestra búsqueda. Muchas gracias al personal por su ayuda. Por lo menos y lo más importante, la comida era muy buena, y todos disfrutamos. Nunca hemos tenido una mala comida aquí. Muy recomendable.

Very pleasant, an excellent meal. Much work appears to have been done to raise the standard at Chichester, and they have achieved this. We'll done! 2 course offer £18.99 per head.

This place was good my server Megan was lovely

Use to love dine there. But last 2 times we are not happy with food. Not sure if chef change, or they cut cost and using not so good quality products, but the same dishes taste and are served completely different then before (much worse now then use to be). Salad bar empty, messy and jars with sauces not filled up. Today veg have mould on them ! Broccoli exactly.....

Mia was absolutely brilliant, her interpersonal skills amazing. loved the food… so wholesome. I would recommend it anytime any day for family and friends. Megan was absolutely stunning in her attendance to us … harvester keep surprising me with their food and dedicated staffs…. 5 star for Megan, absolutely amazing …

The table was clean when we finally got seated. We had to wait for ages before our food arrived. It wasn't very nice, the meat on the mixed grill was dry and tough. The Chipotle rainbow had such an powerful citrus flavour, it tasted like lemon floor cleaner and was inedible. The waitress didn't question why my plate was untouched when she collected it. She was rude as was the lady on the desk who organises tables. Both were dismissive of any questions we asked, huffing while they answered. When we paid we asked if we could order a takeaway dessert and the waitress rolled her eyes, shrugged and told us to order a click and collect on the app. We didn't want to wait any longer so left. The Harvester is supposed to be good value for okay food, you know youre not getting gourmet, but it's cheap and fine. It's not good value anymore and the food is terrible. If you increase the prices (£75 for 2 adults and a 4 year old) as much as you have, you need to improve the food quality. We will not be returning.

As Harvesters go the Chichester branch is nice, it has a lovely atmosphere & the food was lovely & special thanks to Megan our waitress who did a fantastic job of keeping a bunch of rowdy women in check

A classic visit to the old faithful harvester, never let's you down. The ribs and chicken were great as always and Lucy provided excellent hospitality. You can't go wrong

Great servers, lovely Fresh hot food, I love the salad bar, I love the Hot Chocolate. you weren't hurried and the servers gave you enough time between courses. We have been there several times and never disappointed

We’d booked a table for 13:15 for our Granddaughters 5th birthday. 3 in the party. We arrived at 1300. There was no greeter and we were left waiting. When someone did eventually come out they told us there were no tables available for us until 1315 - there were at least three free tables in the restaurant and 5 or more in the bar, but the staff made us wait. We were seated in a booth with the most disgusting seats - both benches were ripped badly and worn, photos available. The waitress was “functional”, no friendly interaction with us or our granddaughter. The salad bar was badly depleted and we had to asked 3 times for items to be restocked. The main meals were OK and were warm, alas the salt shaker was missing from the table and the pepper was empty - very poor attention to detail. We settled the bill and asked the waitress to scan our rewards card. Unfortunately she did it in the wrong order so was unable to scan our rewards card card, and made no attempt to resolve it. She was most unhelpful. So unlike staff from our local harvester that we visit on a regular basis. This is our least favourite Harvester by far. We eat with the chain regularly in Fareham and the service is considerably better. We left and there was no goodbye or thanks from the front desk. It felt like customers were an inconvenience that needed to be managed. I’ve asked for a call back in the company survey - let’s see what happens.

Lucy sat us down on a nice clean table loads of other tables which was lovely to see. Yeah was loud but didn’t change anything to do with how nice Lucy was.

Good food, good service, recommend for family meals

We arrived for our booked evening meal at 6.30pm The salad bar was run down I had to ask for pineapple and blue cheese sauce to be refilled. We ordered our meals which was for simply chicken for both of us. When our meals arrived both of us had to send our meals straight back because the ratatouille on each of our plates was just a mush of cold mashed Courgettes and onions, not a ratatouille at all, the frozen peas were cold and rock hard the chips were luke warm and the pot of grave was cold and had a thick crust on the top were it had been poured out and left for some time we had replacement food sent to us but this was not really any better, we ate what was edible and were gong to stay for desert but decided not to as the mains were so disgusting and spoilt our evening, the waitress did discount our food but we still had to pay for one of our meals even though they were both uneatable. Then we left. We often visit the harvester in Chichester and find it very hit or miss some meals we have there are nice but more than not the meals are not up to a standard that you would expect in any restaurant. We have a beefeater restaurant in our own town which we will be trying in the future.

Lovely meal, service was brilliant

We were seated early due to arriving 10 minutes prior to our booking time. Service was speedy and food was lovely. Abbey gave us her recommendations on desserts which we all throughly enjoyed!

We’ve come here a few times and had Lucy as our waitress. Even when she was training she was brilliant and went out of her way to be as helpful as she could be! Would defo have her as my waitress for forever!

The service was horrendous. It took 20 minutes for anyone to serve us initially for drinks and then the food order. It took a further 45 minutes for the food to be served. after having also not brought our drinks over until we summoned the waitress over. The food was not very warm when it arrived. Then it took a further 35 minutes for the bill- in which time we had decided it was not worth the wait to order dessert. The waitress who initially served us was very airy fairy and told us it was because she was talking on the phone that it had delayed the drinks. This was appalling service in a restaurant that was practically empty. We have used this restaurant before and in all the past it has not been as bad as this, although it has got progressively worse.

Food was fantastic, restaurant is clean and spacious, and the staff were friendly, Megan our server was brilliant, very knowledgeable on the menu and catered to our needs superbly, kudos to the chefs as the food was cooked to perfection and arrived swiftly.

Megan was wonderful and really helpful making sure an allergy was looked into thoroughly. Thank you so much for a lovely meal and experience!

We visited on a Friday evening. The food was decent, a normal Harvester offering. The service wasn’t that friendly, just perfunctory. The place was fairly clean, the toilets not so. One toilet was blocked due to vomit which was around the cubicle also.

Young girl Megan was lovely. Food wasn’t as good as usual bit dry on some dinners especially the roast. But Rachel is as lovely as always.

Went for a Christmas breakfast, unfortunately, with no buffet option and plates only coming out one at a time, the food was cold. Staff were friendly & the atmosphere was good, but I would not recommend this particular Harvester.

It's a harvester, you get what you'd expect. Foods nice but if you go after 6pm it can be quite busy

The service was very slow despite not being busy. The food was excellent and our waiter Damon was very polite ,friendly and helpful. We sat on a table that looked out into the road and the grounds of the restaurant. The grounds were overgrown with weeds and vegetation, I know it's winter but they could cut it back.

The service was very slow at lunchtime despite not being very bust. Our waiter Damon was excellent, friendly, polite and helpful. The food was excellent and arrived hot. We sat by the window overlooking the road and the overgrown vegetation and weeds wasn't good, I know it's winter but they could tidy it up !!

The salad was to die for, couldn't get enough! Lucas was out of this world, couldn't ask for a better server! He even drew a mustache on our receipt, what an icon.

We had a large gathering of people. All food was brought out together and a couple of dishes were not as hot as they should have been. Not cold. The evening was nice and staff very friendly and helpful. Salad bar was awesome as always.
