The Bar at My Brighton in Brighton and Hove

Mediocre cocktail, overpriced, table salt on Marquerita cocktail, nothing special, nothing to bring me back.

This bar has gone down big time service is way below what it used to be barman wake up and engage, cocktail glasses are so small not good value for money, avoid!

Absolutely phenomenal place to have a cocktail at. The drinks selection is wide and well thought out. I was surprised to learn each element of each drinks are made in house. If you want a cocktail in Brighton i would recommend this bar!!!

Best place to drink in Brighton, emancipate vibes, bar staff are incredible and rightfully proud of their bespoke house-made ingredients and menu, service is impeccable from start to finish, all round great experience 10/10 would recommend!!

Looks amazing but wait time is long and the cocktails are mainly ice and the but you get doesn't even taste nice. Worst Pina Colada I've ever had. Shame as it is a great set up.

There's not enough of an emphasis on flavour in the cocktails here. Their take on a Gibson has pickle juice without any spiced umami depth. Everything tastes like a three ingredient drink. Gung-ho is tastier.

Great cocktails and can get very busy, keep an eye on costs, this place is pretty expensive. Good atmosphere.

Lacks atmosphere; music too loud. Does a very good job of impersonating a soulless Moscow nightclub. Probably a good place to start a night of caning it if you’re a large group of geezers. I felt sorry for the poor fish in the aquarium tank who looked as distressed as my friend and I from the throbbing music; poor creatures, imagine being locked in that hell 24/7. Cocktails fine, bar staff friendly.

Knowledgeable staff makes the drink choices easy. The can suggest the best cocktail for you. Formidable spirits selection (Also for whisky). Central location. One of the very best cocktail bar Brighton has to offer.

Really friendly informative barman, nice cocktails

Nice cocktail bar with unisex toilets. Because it is so popular the waiting time can be quite slow. Nice decor and very stylish and the staff were nice. Also toilets nice and clean. All in all top marks. Wouldn't stay there all night due to prices though.

Ive been here on a few occasions; a good range of cocktails in a stylish place. Probably best to avoid Saturday night when it's busy and each order takes time.

Packed, noisy, slow. Visited 6 pm Saturday night. Cocktails are labour intensive but there didn't seem to be enough crew. Got served 20 minutes after ordering and they missed one, which took another five minutes to replace. We tried to chat in the interval but the acoustics are bloody awful and in our party of six three of us could not hear the other three. A good place for couples maybe. We won't be coming back.

Delicious cocktails in a chic settings, this is definitely one of the nicer venues in Brighton to have a drink, with prices to reflect! However I have never had a bad cocktail here, they use the best spirits, and the bar staff really know their stuff. If you want to be impressed, go for the 'My Tiki' and watch the fire show that comes with it!

Great place for a cocktail away from the hustle and bustle of Brighton city centre after a long afternoon's shopping

Trendy, fancy cocktail bar, naff music. @£5 a drink... Bottle beer(no draught), spirit&mixer. Not a great atmosphere, but it was a wednesday. More a meeting place. Not a lot of 'fun', unless you're with a crowd of mates.

With a hard, sterile floor and wipeable surfaces everywhere it does feel a little like being caught in a design fight between a hospital, a posh urinal in a crystal shop and a hotel lobby. Were it not for the AMAZING cocktails, superb service and entertaining staff I would have marked it down for it's cold decor (there is always a draft) and cliquey atmosphere. Either go for a sophisticated cocktail on the way out, for after dinner drinks or make a night of it with a big group starting at happy hour. Did I say the cocktail shows were really impressive? Yes I did but it is worth mentioning again.

Lovely venue next to hotel. Came here after reception of friends wedding and had a great time here. The friendly staff even made us their famous fire cocktail which was delicious.

Love this place. Gone down hill a little recently with new management but still good for a cocktail.

It turns out that going off menu for the cocktails is not as possible as one would think. Even though it's written on the menu that this is possible. Nice place and great cocktails all the same! 😀

Trying to be too trendy. Brighton is not London. Nice inside and good cocktails. But expensive and not a place for a chilled drink. Would go again but not often.

The cocktails were delicious, the ambience is nice and chilled. Service is charged on drinks bit you do get table service.

Nice futuristic cocktail bar. Once you step off the street you are whisked into a different world of fused steel and glass, with funky lighting and shimmering aquariums. The cocktails are varied and service is flawless.

Visited over the weekend for a work event. Great drinks, top tunes and no hassle getting in. No phone signal in the submarine interior, but can't have it all. Would certainly go back.

A pretentious, poser bar with rude staff and complete incompetent manager. We had a table pre booked and paid for table for ten and and was given space barely big enough for six. Staff was rude, service slow and got drink order wrong and despite being shown receipt that we paid for 14 drinks but got only 12, staff was incredibly rude and refused to acknowledge their mistake and server said she didn't want to serve us. Manager was no help. Mind you this was our first stop on our night out so we were not drunk or rowdy and we were a group with an average age of 35. Would definitely not recommend even to my worst enemy. So many other more fabulous cocktail bars in Brighton.

We stopped here before returning to our room in the adjoined hotel. The drink selection is very good, it would cater for all tastes. The staff were friendly and helpful when asked for recommendations of cocktails containing certain ingredients. We had four cocktails and the bill came to £32.50; which is reasonable. They are "proper" cocktails so worth the money. Will definitely pop back in to try and work our way through the menu!

Wednesday night. Poor service. 1 barman on duty and couldn't keep up with just 2 tables of orders- over 40 minutes for a round. It was my girlfriends birthday and she was disappointed to say the least. 2 stars because the drinks were nice when they eventually came.

Very nice cocktail bars. Great selections. Surprisingly a lot of creative cocktails. I discover different tastes each time I come here.
