Disgusting, came in on a Friday for a couple drinks. Upstairs must have had 30 people's meals not cleaned away for over an hour, customers were just piling the plates on vacant tables to create space to sit down.

It's a spoons you know what you are getting.

My food was stone cold and took ages to rectify - husband had finished his meal by the time mine came

Met Jeff ex work colleague at the Bank House, on Wednesday, had a drink (Hot Chocolate) & a bite to eat. Staff were all very friendly & helpful, it was very busy.

Absolutely amazing staff, the waiter called me "sir" which made me feel very royal. My breakfast I had was amazing, everything was perfect nothing too hot to burn your mouth and not cold either everything was the best of the best. The atmosphere is also amazing, as weatherspoons keep the original building intact so every spoons has a different feel and look to them, this specific location is an old bank and they've kept that theme amazingly.

This must be the dirtiest lifeless wetherspoons on the planet Sat down didn't order and left

I love a spoons, This one is fairly large, has a nice upstairs area with comfy chairs. The Mexican spicy rice is my go-to when ordering sides. I'm under no illusion that it's from a microwave and looks like the chef didn't bother to try and even hide the fact the rice was plomped out of a bag. The first bite is with the eye 😄

This place is always busy due to the price of drinks but definitely not the service. The food is good enough for the price but if you want to order food or drinks, use the Wetherspoons App, the bar staff are awful, slow and have no idea of who should be served next, this can cause some awkward situations when next in line!

They didn't even serve us because we were Spanish. Fifteen minutes wasted inside and they kept ignoring us despite trying to order at the bar

Super busy on the weekend. Tables are very limited. Managed to find a table and we have to clean it ourselves. Food and drinks was served pretty fast overall.

The bank house has the most welcoming staff working there, the best service. The best BBQ panini and Southernfried chicken chipotle wraps! Jack and Jake who served me multiple times were pleasant and so friendly. The wait times are quick and the new Ramen was like I was in Shinjuku again!

Jake's attention to detail and genuine interest in ensuring our satisfaction was truly remarkable. The pub itself had a buzzing atmosphere, goof food, and a wide selection of drinks at good prices. Overall, our time at The Bank House was greatly enhanced by Jake's exemplary service and hospitality.

My friends & I had a decent meal washed down with a few reasonably priced drinks. This is a great pub. It has a very relaxed atmosphere and the staff all seem to enjoy working there. I was chatting to Ella, who was super friendly, polite and courteous. It makes a difference when the staff are good. Well done, we will certainly be back.

Went in the bank house and was instantly greeted by a smiling server called ella she helped me and my partner so much with choices from the menu. Adam also helped us as my partner had special needs which he looked after and met every requirement. This was a great day as we enjoyed our meal and drinks and would like to give a big thankyou to troy and gemma too they are stars 🌟 🌟🌟🌟

It was a quite rowdy but I enjoyed the atmosphere and one of the lady's, ella i believe really helped me out to find a table, was also kind as she served us

Bank is one of my local Spoons and I regularly enjoy popping down for a pint. Much prefer Bank than Moon mainly due to the friendly staff and more relaxed atmosphere. Ella (blonde) is particularly welcoming and friendly. Would recommend for a nice pint and some simple food.

Im regular customer here. Today I order 3 portions of chicken wings. I found lots of hairs in food when I said them and showed them they can’t even replace food. I’ll never come here any more. Please ever do take care about your health not money. I’m trying to upload photos but there is no options.

Nice pub, tasty curry and very friendly, helpful staff. The toilets let it down as they were a bit of a mess and in need of a clean. There was a crowd of lads who were getting drunk and a bit rowdy, which spoiled the atmosphere a bit, but maybe we're just getting old. We did enjoy our visit regardless.

We called in for lunch and had the southern fried chicken with chipotle mayo wrap. Definitely not chipotle mayo. More like peri peri and way too much on the wrap. The place itself had a good lunchtime vibe but is tired and drab. The toilets were awful. We travel a lot and have used numerous wetherspoons and this is one we would not return to. The staff however were friendly and pleasant and as we ordered from the app the waiting time for our food and drinks was good.

Food and drink selection are decent. Staff are good too. The pub is over 2 tiers so pretty roomy. On the down side trying to find a plug socket to charge your phone is hard work, couldn't find any sockets upstairs.

Its a Spoons. The food is cheap and cheerful but nothing to write home about. Something may come out slightly too cold or piping hot and totally depends on the day. You can order food and drinks to your table very easily but dont expect good service because the servers are usually so ridiculously busy they dont have time to talk to you beyond a polite hello before they have to dash off again. The app also means theres not really "table service" in the traditional meaning. The atmosphere depends on the day but theres no music and a lot of the time youre looking at a pub full of the older generation or full of students. Not bad, not great, does what it says on the tin.
