The Bank Bar & Bistro in Newry and Mourne

Beautiful building always worth a visit and server was exceptionally attentive this time and as it is not my first time here , I was delighted for my family and I to be accommodated in every way by Hollie (whom has to be named ) went above and beyond to meet our demands and gave us the 5☆ treatment every customer would expect - thanks again and can't wait until after restrictions to get a more familiar night, can not fault this place

Up to a few weeks ago we hadn’t been in this city centre place in about a year, but we’ve now been three times in as many weeks. We went first as a group of 10 then 2, then 4. I tried to get in again on the eve of our 2nd lock down which our useless politicians say isn’t one (tell that to any ill person trying to get hospital treatment for a serious illness as well as restaurants/hotels/taxi drivers/hairdressers/pubs etc) but I got a recorded message advising they’d already closed up. The service here is ace, the cappuccino excellent and the food is pretty darn good but as is typical of me I’ve a few niggles but the niggles don’t take away from the five star rating......well for now anyway. Despite Wu flu it’s been fairly well full of diners on each visit. I also enjoy the vibrant atmosphere that added to our experience each time.I’ve had vegetarian pasta (in that I picked a chicken, bacon & mushroom based creamy pasta and asked for no chicken, no bacon) which was delicious and the Wednesday night steak special for 2 which is an odd mix of fillet steak, Chinese noodles, pepper sauce, peppers and asparagus (something like I’d do myself) with chips & onion rings and a bottle of wine. I do look at the desserts each time but at £6.5 each no thanks they should be a fiver, but the truth is I haven’t room any more. So to the niggles, the onion ring batter (and fish batter) just ain’t light enough. Come on folks it’s not 1976, think crisp, think thin batter, think crunchy, go toward tempura. The pepper sauce isn’t great either (go buy the pre made pepper sauce at fiveways as a good guide). I don’t get it with the onion rings and pepper sauce as there’s no doubt there are real, properly trained, skilled chefs here. But the one that really mucks me off: when there with a group of 10 a few weeks back we were charged near £15 for my vegetarian pasta. This is rip off and darn poor but I didn’t want to make a fuss with the group. In my view no vegetarian main should exceed £10, unless it has very expensive ingredients like a top notch Parmigiano-Reggiano (which sadly isn’t the case here) fresh Thai baby corn/snow peas/asparagus/pak choi. I got it corrected on my next visits where it came in at £11.50 or £1.5 over the odds. When they return, so will we and fingers crossed with the niggles.

What can I say? The bank bar thank you! The food was just delicious, great portion sizes & was thoroughly enjoyed by all. The service was excellent. We were looked after to the highest of standards. We will definitely be back.

Came to the bank twice since the reopening after the lockdown and although very expensive, the food was nice. There was a great selection of drinks and the atmosphere was lovely. However (sorry I hate to do this) on both occasions we were seated by the same young lady and on both occasions she failed to notice that she was seating us at a dirty table. She also failed to mention the specials or even offer us a drink. After seating us we assumed she would come back to clean the table or even send another member of staff to do it, but we had to ask both times for someone to do it. Wouldn’t be a massive issue normally but given current circumstances of covid 19, staff shud be extra cautious with these little things. Service was generally good apart from this and I’ll definitely eat here again!

The best service - the best staff so good at looking after us. Always such pleasant staff and great food.

Afternoon tea at the bankMyself & 3 sisters decided to try the Bank in Newry for Afternoon tea as we seen it advertised on their social media outlets.We booked in for Friday past, On entering the complex we were pleasantly surprised about how spacious the venue is, We were seated promptly by staff who were all wearing visors (Very reassuring) & given our choice of 3 options, we all decided to go for Champagne afternoon tea, A great choice as it was absolutely delicious, Great portion sizes + the sweets were to die for, All in all it was a great afternoon out & was reasonably priced. Will be back again soon to try there bistro menu as it looks yummy also.

SERVICE WAS FAST AND AMAZING! I had the falafel burger and it was well worth the price; while the chunky chips on the side were not flavoured and tasted very starchy. Dessert was delicious but for the price it was tiny!!

I decided to treat the other half to a mid week treat, We made the decision to venture into Newry (a short 20 minute trip for us as we live in Banbridge) & head to the Bank complex, We have both heard great reports of this venue. On entering the restaurant we were put at ease with the staff all wearing visors + hand sanitation stations at the door, The staff were very friendly & escorted us to our pre booked table. We both decided to try the Sizzling steak offer for 2 which was mouth watering, We both received 2 delicious courses + a bottle of wine, My partner was driving so I got all the wine to myself (Sore head today lol).We were both very impressed with the Bank complex & will definitely be booking in for another trip very soon.Simply yummy.Louise

First impressions of this bar are stunning ,then comes the menu.Like a timewarp back to 1980 and food and presentation to match.fish cooked like it had be dropped in a hot pan of 360 degrees crispy on the inside and out.Goujons that had looked like they came straight out of Tescos .A beautiful bar deserves food with passion.

I was nervous about going out to eat post lockdown.Our table was so close to other diners we asked was there another table which was socially distanced and were told it was fully booked.Some staff were wearing masks some weren't some were wearing visors on top of their heads.when the table was vacated next to us it was cleaned but the seats werent.I expected so much more from the Bank and I think the public deserve better.

Myself & the wife were out for a nice Sunday drive when we decided to stop by the Bank bar & bistro, Great decision as the food was simply delicious. I went for the traditional Sunday roast, Great portions + the beef was amazing, the wife went for the weekend special which was the Ribeye steak ( I tried some of it & it was cooked to perfection), After our mains we decided to try the dessert special which was Jawbox gin rhubarb crumble again simply delicious.We must say the staff were very friendly & looked after us, They are a great credit to the venue. Myself and my husband arrived for a meal last night, everything looked to be going well. Ordered our meal and drinks. We were brought food to our table that was meant for the next table, food sat down and then had to be lifted and moved to the next table. Then we were served with a meal that was not ours, then told it would be another 25mins for our meal as the server wrote down the wrong order. Then staff came over with drinks that were not for our table but for the next table and again a 3rd time. Now these are minor issues but when you have an allocated time slot for your meal and have to wait due to staff error.We then went upstairs to the rooftop beer garden for a drink after our meal. This was a disgrace, social distancing non exsistant. 1 member of staff serving everyone - and to be honest unless you were this young ladies friend then you weren't getting served. We waited an hour to order a drink and a further 30 mins after that when our drink had not arrived and we were unable to get the waitress attention we left. Shocking customer service all round and a dampener and what had the potential to be a great evening out.On leaving we advised a front of house staff that we wouldn't be back and we were greeted with a blank expression and a shoulder shrug - says it all!

Very average. Food average. Although decor is nice. Very expensive for what it is. Food just wasn’t up to standard. Social distancing doesn’t really apply. People sat right next to us.

Went on Saturday night for dinner a large table to celebrate a birthday was pre- booked the food was quiet good and atmosphere was nice with a good singer in background. Sadly two of our servers were very good however due to the busyness they needed help a guy that worked there helped he was so rude practically through the food at us even though somethings we didn’t order a dessert that was for the birthday boy he put in front of someone else definitely wouldn’t have him working there couldn’t get his name but he appeared to be the only guy working on the 7 th of March. There needs to be a serious look at staff in this place as it has great potential as I would go back if staff improved .

We attended The Bank bar and bistro last night for a bite to eat and it did not dissapoint. We had starters which was chicken wings and beef spring rolls, very tasty. Main courses was the steak sandwich and the rump steak both cooked to perfection. We also had cheesecake and the chocolate brownie for dessert. The presentation and attention to detail was second to none. We will surely be back soon.

Had dinner for ten tonight and every member of our party praised the extremely high standard of the food. We had a wide selection of the dishes from the seafood tagliatelle to highly popular Thai curry and all were so tasty and portions were generous. Without a doubt the standout dessert was the apple pie served with ice cream and custard, which tasted amazing! Speedy and friendly service, excellent food,we already have our next visit in the diary. Thanks for a lovely evening!

I have had several meals here with friends and family. They also have a piano player on Saturday evenings from about 7. Really nice atmosphere, busy and nice decor

Despite having booked a table, and not creating a disturbance, a bouncer kicked our group out for being under the age of 23 (which is fair enough, but which wasn't disclosed when booking, despite it being made clear that our group was under 23). We decided we would use the bathroom then leave the establishment. We had no ulterior motives, nor did we get upset at the bouncer. However, the (MALE) bouncer clearly had other ideas, and proceeded to follow 3 or 4 girls from our group into the lady's bathrooms. Surely, this is a sex offence, no?

We visited about 7.30 on a Saturday for a meal. Brilliant atmosphere, piano and singer on the go. Mega friendly staff and an awesome menu. Puts you right in the mood for a good time. Will be back.

Had a surprise 30th birthday at the Bank in one of their function rooms. The staff really went out of their way to ensure everyone had a great night. Would recommend to anyone looking to have a stress free function.

Went out for tea this evening. Parking outside The Bank if you are lucky to get a spot.

Whilst sides and wine were good the size of the fillet steak I received was smaller than what I had previously received in fine dining restaurants never mind casual dining. I assume the other dishes served may be better proportioned but we were disappointed.

We chose this venue for a family meal due to the great reports we had been hearing. It did not disappoint. The menu had an amazing selection of dishes. We could not fault any element of our meal. Food was delicious and beautifully presented. Compliments to the chef. The service overall was excellent. Highly recommend.

We attended here for lunch there was 5 of us from work and we had pre-ordered about 40minutes beforehand. The food was very good indeed and plentiful. We all had a different dish and there was absolutely no complaints. Good value for money too. The only down point was that the place was getting cleaned as we ate our lunch so wet floors etc when the place was open.

Overall an excellent venue for business meeting. Staff offered the highest standard of service. Food was amazing. We will definitely use this venue again to meet clients.

Visited The Bank Bar today for our family Sunday lunch. Service was fantastic and the food was outstanding, I had the roast beef with all the trimmings but the whole group were very impressed with their selection, steak sandwiches, burgers and Prawns. Definitely be back!

Well worth the wait! We are travelling northern Ireland and decided to stop off at The bank restaurant in Newry for something to eat. We arrived mid lunch time rush and were informed we would be waiting 25 mins for our orders, which we didn't mind as we were happy to rest. To our surprise the staff arrived with a selection of the spring rolls to keep us going until our order was ready. Absolutely amazing, the food is tasty and unreal value. The staff are very friendly and also prompt.we will certainly be back. It was very much appreciated, chef was very nice.

We had the most wonderful meal last night...the food was exquisite! We ordered sea bass and beef and reef...the flavours were amazing and everything was cooked to perfection. The presentation was quirky but sophisticated. I would highly recommend this Resturant to anyone...the food and service..and cocktails are fabulous...thanks for a wonderful evening.

We dined here yesterday for Sunday afternoon dinner. There were ten of us, 4 adults and 6 children. The food was amazing !!! The menu had a wide selection to choose from and the kids were catered for above and beyond. We had steaks which were to die for, the best I’ve had in years!! Cooked to perfection. Could not fault the meal one bit. Loved the bread board too. Compliments to the chef (Ruairi I believe is his name) and to all staff. We will be back.

Recently attended The Bank for a meal and drinks with friends. From start to finish we had a great night. Pleasant courteous staff, fabulous food and delicious cocktails. This was my second night in recent weeks and most certainly will not be my last. From we arrived the staff looked after us extremely well especially Colette who was so attentive and nothing was any bother. Thanks so much for making it a great night.

We visited the bank tonite for our anniversary, its been years since id been here and as an x employee i stepped inside the doors expecting it to be the same,I was pleasantly suprised as its greatly changed.the dull wallpaper that used to hang in the main bar has gone everything so fresh and new.staff r so friendly, we were tak8ng to our tablet by a lovely girl that looked after us all nice i didn't catch her name .but so good at her job .our drinks order were taken and we choose our food ,we both had beef roll starters served with chilly noodles on side have to say fabulous,our main course were beef for my other half and salmon for myself served with veg champ onion rings and chips ooh so good ,I'm hard to plz in the flavour department but omg fantastic.on to dessert the waitress recommended the cheese cake and she wasn't wrong so good and life. My husband had the Apple pie .decorated beautifully. And so good .I just want to congratulate all the staff but espically the kitchen staff as I know how hard they work ,in extreme heat Keep up the good work Ruari and staff first class tonite .service food atmosphere ,like Arnie says we will be back.highly recommend

We had a joint 18th birthday party here at the weekend. It couldnt have went any better. The staff were so friendly and helpful, and the food was amazing. Thanks to Eugene for his hospitality throughout the planning and on the evening. Highly recommend👍

We choose the bank for my sons christening. The venue was great and nothing was too much bother for the staff. We selected the hot fork buffet and I was so glad I did as everyone was very impressed with the food and presentation. The bank catered for my own allergies also and ensured there was plenty I could choose from. A special thank you to Eugene and Gary who ensured that everything ran smoothly.

Recently had my brothers 40th birthday party in the bank Newry. Food was excellent and the service was fantastic. Nothing was too much trouble and was very well organised from start to finish. Very accommodating for the children that were with us too. I will definitely not hesitate to book our next occasion here!

Having recently organised a family meal in the bank for my daughters Graduation, we were very impressed with the service we received. The food was excellent and well presented, staff were very attentive and polite, nothing was too much trouble. Would recommend for a function or a walk in meal. Looking forward to my next visit.

Visited today for Sunday Lunch. We hadn't booked but it was early and we were greeted by a friendly member of staff who showed us to a table and brought us menus and took our drinks order. Plenty of choice on the menu together with a separate Sunday roast menu. The food was delicious and beautifully presented. All the waiting staff were very friendly and there was a lovely atmosphere in the place. We did not have dessert but we will sample some on our next visit as we will definitely be returning again!!

We went for Sunday lunch at the Bank on Sunday 26th (a bank holiday weekend). We hadn’t booked & where greeted at the door by a member of staff with excellent customer service, although exceptionally busy we where accommodated immediately, our server took us to our seats, gave my 4 year old daughter immediate attention, brought her a colouring menu & some crayons. 2 members of staff waited our table & their customer service was perfect, not too over the top & not forgotten about. The menu is very eclectic, with literally something for everyone. I don’t usually write reviews but I had to acknowledge the chef, my husband ordered the steak sandwich with a side of prawns, my daughter had mash, beans & chicken nuggets (she’s very specific) & I had the Prawn Thai curry. The food was absolutely faultless, the curry was amazing, to the point where I’ve tried recreating it myself to absolutely no avail. Our compliments to the chef & also the staff, a lovely afternoon out complimented & made better by the beautiful food. Highly recommended, we will definitely be back, we have too because we haven’t stopped talking about the food.

18 of us went yesterday for a Holy Communion meal. The restaurant had a great ambience.

The Sweet potato fries where frozen ones you buy and can make at home.The food was way overpriced aswell.

Took three grown up kids for lunch on Monday - was absolutely gorgeous! Great choice, service and food was fabulous. We will definitely be back - excellent value for money.

Four of us visited here, three of us ordered the falafel burger with houmus and brie with sweet potato chips, one person ordered battered shrimp. I had gotten the falafel burger a few years ago and it was delicious, this time however it was terrible. The burger arrived with no houmus, I asked could we have some, waitress told us there was none, the cheese was square burger cheese, and the burger seemed to be a curry paste of some sort - it wasn't falafel. All and all it was disgusting. I ate mine, I was very hungry, the other two people ate about 1/4. The battered shrimp tasted like frozen shrimp, but was mostly batter. I complained about the food, and recieved one burger for free.

We were in Newry for an afternoon appointment and as we were an hour early we called in to the Bank for coffee and snack. We were met by a member of staff who welcomed us and offered us a choose if seats and sorted us not only with two lovely lattes but the sweet menu of which we shared a heavenly chocolate fudge cake.... At just over a tenner this was a very nice experience and would recommend to everyone...

Visited the Bank on Friday 15th March for a special Family Meal and I must confess that we had not been rushing to visit here again, as our last experience was at best a little underwhelming. But we had heard some positive feedback and that there was a new Chef and team in situ and so off we went hoping for our tastebuds to be ignited.

A group of 7 of us had booked a table for 7.30pm but our table wasn’t ready until almost 8pm.

Went to bank a few weeks ago with friends on Saturday night. Had a beautiful meal, everyone happy with choices, Thai curry, chicken chorizo pasta and creme brulé all went down well. Cocktails and Gins really well presented, good atmosphere and lovely bread with complimentary tapenade/dips served due to slight wait on starters (we didn't even notice as we were enjoying our drinks!!). Staff were very attentive too...will definitely be back soon.

Best freshly cooked food in newry by a country mile. Myself and my family eat here most weekends, and i can’t commend Ruari and the rest of chefs highly enough. All the staff bend backwards to accommodate and my two children look forward to going back every week. 5 star food from 5 star people in 5 star surroundings

We were here yesterday and the food was absolutely amazing. Catered for allergies and coeliac and everything was stunning. Brilliant atmosphere and stunning food cant wait to be back in a couple of weeks time to celebrate confirmation x

The new chef made everyone so welcome have a few allergies amongst us. He made every effort to accommodate all of us (group of 25) the staff etc were so accommodating nothing was a problem would highly recommend this restaurant

Normally a place i would recommend but not anymore! Food was totally awful so much for a carbonara it was nothing more than chicken soup! No mushrooms or cheese and served with anaemic bread to be then charged £13.95! Disgraceful! Totally overpriced and no atmosphere as sitting practically in the dark. To add insult to injury was charged £2 for a jug of diluted blackcurrant! Avoid and enjoy a better meal elsewhere!

Called into the Bank for a quick bite to eat after work, steak cooked to perfection , vegetables unbelievably tasty . The service from kate and Marina was excellent . I wouldnt hesite to recommend to anyone . Best place in Newry to eat by far , will defiantly be back !!

Myself and my husband decided to check out the bank bars food yesterday as had heard the steak and Guinness pie was lovely. The lady serving us was great craic and couldn’t have been any better to be honest. The food took around 30-40 minutes to arrive, in all fairness it was a Sunday so was quite a few in the place. When the food arrived it looked nice, the portion of chips were very small, and unfortunately not chunky like the menu had said. My husband had the burger which he said was lovely. I had the Guinness and steak pie. The filling was delicious and had plenty of meat but unfortunately the pastry was raw and inedible. We headed up to the bar to pay and after doing so, I mentioned to the bar man to let the chef know that the remainder of the pie needed to be put back into the oven to finish cooking. I purposely left my comment till after I paid the bill as I was not looking a free meal as the rest was enjoyable. He seemed annoyed that I’d mentioned it and just brushed it off without an apology. Otherwise nice experience.

Meal booked four at weekend, we had arrived early, when we were seated , we were given menus. we were then asked would we like to order , advised them we were waiting on other couple, to be told we can take your order now . When other couple arrived, they were just seated and asked what they would like to order.

Me and my family had original been told to leave from another restaurant due to the having no table for us and the one we were already sat at was reserved. I first rang ahead to the bank to check if they could sit the four of us as we didn’t want to be turned away from another place. They said they had room for us if we could there as soon as, which we did. On arrival, Fiona who I had spoke to on the phone greeted us and lead us into a quiet room away from the noisy (Christmas crowded) bar. We were treated amazingly which we really appreciated considering how our evening started. All the food was delicious and fresh. Not a single fault. Fiona even came to the table to check on us and was very friendly. As I was paying with card, she made sure I don’t have to pay at the crowded bar and got me sorted straight away. We would all highly recommend and would easily be back again.

Fabulous meal with very attentive staff... especially fiona. would highly Recommend. Chicken caesar salad was to die for.

We first ordered drinks which took ages to come. The staff needed to be reminded a number of times that we had even ordered drinks. Cocktails certainly not of the highest standard. Some tweaking required! 🍸Food service was good and meals good quality.

yes, we can certainly say that. A good thing we had booked a table. As early as it was in the evening, the place was really full, not only the tables, but also the bar. The are lots of choices on the menu. All the dishes we picked, four of us, were different, and we all enjoyed everything. Service was excellent, even though it really was more than packed. Look forward to another time soon.

Plenty to choose from on the menu. Six of us in total, all choosing different things - hake, tempura chicken, few other I can't remember, all happy with their choice of main and sides. Great location in the centre of Newry. Reasonably priced too.

My only reason for not giving 5 stars, is they don't have tomato juice. A small point, but I do like a bloody Mary.

I visited here with a few work colleagues on Friday. First impression - We were in the place for a while before deciding to go find a table ourselves. No one came near us - Very poor service! There was a great menu - our order didn't take long to arrive and when it did we were all pleased with our food! Very good food - Service for drinks could have been a lot better though! We had to go over to the waitresses to get service for more drinks. Not good. We all thoroughly enjoyed our meal - but the desserts were very much a let-down. I ordered a raspberry creme brûlée - it was more like runny custard with a crispy top! Not good - and my other colleagues never really enjoyed their desserts either. A bit disappointing after our lovely main course. Don't think I will return to The Bank. Sorry.

We were here on Friday night we didnt book, it was really busy but we still got a table, ive been here before and food has been lovely, but Friday night was amazing makes me wanna go back to it now just thinking about how nice the food was,we will defo be back.

I was at the bank last night for my birthday dinner and had a fantastic experience! My friend and I were treated like royalty!! We were met by Fiona and she was an excellent member of staff. Everybody that we had contact with could not have been better. Im not easily impressed but this pace was lovely.

Went Saturday night and stupidly hadn’t booked but Fiona still managed to accommodate us. Food was first class and all staff friendly and attentive. Service was fabulous. Will definitely be back and would recommend to anyone. Great choice of menu.

Couldn't recommend this place more highly. Food is outstanding and the service we've received on each visit is even better. Staff always very accommodating and quick to assist when you need a refill, but without constantly interrupting your meal like some other places. When anyone asks me where to eat in Newry The Bank is my only answer

We got accommodated for a last minute booking. Quick and attentive service by Fiona. First class food. Great atmosphere in the bar and staff seemed to know the clientele which is always a good sign. We will be back especially for the VIP service from Fiona! I have told so many about our meal here last weekend! keep it up.

We were greeted with a very warm and friendly welcome at the door and taken to a very pleasant table beside the window. The service was friendly and efficient and the food was delicious. Three different members of staff came to check that everything was ok. I’d go back again.

I went here with some friends for some drinks and food. We pre Book a table and upon entering no body was there to greet us. So we went to the bar, after several minutes we got the bar mans attention and told him we had a table booked. Long story short, it was approximately 10minutes after initial contact that we were directed to our table. Nobody came to order drinks and it was at least 15mintues before our food order was taken. Again at this point we didn’t ask if we wanted drinks so we had to call the waiter back and order them. It was at least 25minutes before starters arrived. Food wasn’t great we ordered the same mains and each one looked different and was a different size, it took a long time for plates and glasses to be cleared and again nobody offered the opportunity to order another round. Staff lacked management and were aimlessly walking about, the places was not busy and service was disappointing. I would not return here as service and food need an overhaul.

Had hoped for a carvery here. Although it was a regular menu the menu was impressive. I opted for the seafood tagliatelle. It was perfect, tasted a bland burger my buddy ordered, but was happy and would go back.

A group of us came here for a pre-booked meal one Saturday.

Went out for drinks and a bite to eat, steaks were over cooked and took ages to come out! Only positive thing was the service felt at home with the lovely waitress staff two girls in particular both with black hair, got the name of one of the girls which was Rhianon didn’t get the other girls, praise to the highest degree for them two!! Made my night from a 1 star night to 3 star to be fair!! Well done girls!

I used Bank Bar Bistro last Saturday for a farewell dinner for 27 guests who were visiting from Belgium. We had pre-ordered our menu and it was just excellent. Charlotte and the team looked after us very well. It was a great end to a long weekend.

I went with a large group of coworkers but the service was still great. Good selection of food. Seafood, burgers, steaks and sandwiches.

Absolutely beautiful food, with first class service by Fiona!!! Very comfy seating with a great atmosphere. We’ll definitely be back and would highly recommend The Bank!

We went last Friday evening for dinner with our two boys 6 & 9. The staff were so friendly throughout even staff that weren’t looking after us acknowledged us when passing always asking was everything ok. The food was fab Thai chicken curry was delicious. Nothing was a bother if asked for. Will definitely be back.

Ribs too dry very bland just covered in kechup ment to come will honey and wholegrain mustard mayo but just give me two plain mayos instead to make up for it

I was staying in Newry for a week and most of the time was spent in the Bank. I must have eat in it at least 3 times and went for a drink several other times. First off The decor of the bank is something else. The staff are very friendly and helpful and the service is excellent. As for the food I tried quite a few of the main meals and a few drinks before and after. Anything I got was excellent, big portions and very tasty. I tried various things and wasn't disappointed with anything I got. The Banks Cocktails are also excellent as was the Gin and Tonics. I throughl recommend the Bank to anyone who is staying in Newry even just for a meal. I found the Bank a few years ago and I am heading back down to Newry for a few days away shortly so I'll be back.

We chose here as a venue for catch up with friends recently. As always the food was plentiful and very good. I had salmon and sweet potato fries which were delicious. The staff were great and very attentive and helpful. The only negative was that 1 friend is vegetarian and found the options quite limited but did enjoy her food when it arrived. We will no doubt be back.

At a recent function we were very disappointed with The Bank's service. We felt ignored and our drink orders were forgotten about. We had to clean up the plates on the table ourselves as staff were unavailable. We were promised and expected a quality service for a special event but we ended up feeling like an after thought. Staff were friendly but in all we were very unimpressed and would not recommend.

We held our daughters christening party here and we where absolutely delighted with everything from start to finish. The food was top class and the staff were also friendly, the manager Kate went above and beyond to make our day as special as it was and nothing was to much bother for any of them. Will most definitely be holding more functions here in the future.
