Will NEVER visit this apology for a tea room again! No welcome/non-atmosphere, had to request fresh water for my dog; tasteless toastie with no seasoning nor dressing for salad garnish plus a teapot which didn’t pour!!!!! Several staff who had to be asked to serve. Very poor show! The setting is perfect and could be a thriving business with good footfall but total waste of time and money!

My wife I I had tried to visit this tea room before only to find that the stated 10am opening time had changed to find that opening had changed to 10:30am. We tried again on Monday, 20th January as the other favourite tea rooms were closed on a Monday. We were disappointed! My wife had a pot of very weak tea and a miserly small scone. I had a flat, squashed toasted tea cake with a mean scraping of butter and a hot chocolate that tasted like it came from a vending machine. We try to avoid giving our custom to the Costa Coffee/ Starbucks of this world, but this seemingly small, independent tea room is hard to recommend.

We popped in for a snack and a cuppa whilst exploring Kings Lynn and would say it's a small cafe rather than a traditional "tea room". Plenty of choice on the menu and seemed just what we wanted. The tea/coffee were good. The toasted tea cake had obviously been cooked in a panini type grill press so therefore had been squashed to death and ended up as a thin cardboard like disc with absolutely no texture to it all. The savoury pastry was cooked in a microwave for several minutes and ended up as a soggy, chewy lump of pastry....I should imagine the baker who originally made both items would be horrified to see the way they were ruined. Perhaps we just made the wrong choices....? I cannot recommend.

Some tables outside, but we opted for inside as it looked (and was) more comfortable. Coffee and toasted currant teacake were good, but service, though not unfriendly, was a little casual.

Got seated at this lovely looking place, waitress came to our table to take order..When I asked what bread options on sandwiches, got told a long time to wait ..When I asked how long 10 minutes,30 minutes, got a struck of shoulders and a 'don't know'..She went and asked in kitchen and still came back with 'don't know', we got 2 tables inside for food and 1 outside and we running out of plates!!.too which we left..It most probably had been a busy day, although a limited menu for Heritage day..I work in a cafe and feel tired after a busy day,but we can always give a time scale, never shruck shoulders and we close kitchen on food if we get overwhelmed on any occasion.Better handling on situations next time..

Visiting Kings Lynn and walking round the town we stopped here for a coffee and cake We both had cappuccinos and couldn’t resist the sultana scones with butter/ jam and clotted cream and what a delightful surprise they were - so very light and fluffy and served warm Would definitely recommend as they do a very extensive menu suitable for everyone

Probably the worst scone I have ever eaten, dry and tasting of baking soda served by the most miserable waitress. The only time she smiled was when she was being paid!

A nice little place for a reasonably priced snack, we had sandwiches and coffee. They also do jackets and cakes. The service was very good. Cheese was a little tasteless, I prefer it a bit more mature, hence 4 rather than 5 stars.

What a little gem of a Tea Room. We had not been to Kings Lynn for some time & stopped off here for a quick bite to eat. I had a coronation chicken granary sandwich, the bread was so lovely & fresh & it was served with a good salad & crisps. My husband had a hot cheese & bacon Danish which he said was really tasty. Service was good & we will definitely be back.

Muffins were dry and inedible, returned and changed with minimal fuss though, the table next to us had there sausage rolls warmed up in the microwave for about 5 minutes by the look of it as they really struggled to cut them, they looked lovely in the cabinet though!

Beautiful little cafe with a lovely view overlooking a church. Staff are friendly and professional and make you feel welcome straight away! Had a delicious sandwich which was perfectly presented and accompanied by a helping of crisps and fresh salad.. With it being November now i thought I’d have my first mince pie, this arrived with clotted dream and again was delicious! Can not recommend this cafe enough. Do yourself a favour and give it a try

Absolute waste of time, website says open at midday but was not open on Thursday or Friday, the least they do is change the the web to let people know not to waste time arriving.

I have been here multiple times and it has only gotten better! I have had very good experiences and been treated so nicely by the lovely staff. The food was great and having a drink in the evening was very pleasant. Great location as well as a playground for the kids 10/10

We went in one day for a nice meal, me and my fiancé orderd a milkshake, hers was cold and mine was warm. I orderd a panini, and when it arrived, the server dropped it on the table and instead of offering a new one they went "oops" and put it back on the plate. Also the salad is lettuce and tomatoes, thats it

What a find! Came in to try the local produce they use and it didn’t disappoint! Large range of local beers/wines and the food is all freshly made in house using local produce! I went for the simple ham cheese and chutney sandwich and it was delicious. They used a local pickle and ham of the bone which made this sandwich stand out from all the other throw together garage pre packed sandwiches. Seems a little pricey but well worth it when it’s as filled as it was and as fresh! Great location and stunning flower wall. Will definitely to try the cakes!
