Wow, what a great place, lovely atmosphere and friendly staff who serve massive portions of top quality food, the grilled meats are so tender, the Shwarma is really tasty - delicious salad, tasty rice and chips not fries👍Lovely dips and olives also served. What’s not to like.

Crikey. What a find. In amongst all the same chain restaurants there is this place. Great food, excellent portions and good prices. The service was very good.

Fantastic Catering Experience at Albaik Eldon Square for a Large Group! We recently had the pleasure of catering from Albaik Eldon Square for an event of 120 people, and it was an absolutely wonderful experience. The restaurant provided us with 3 lambs, expertly cooked and presented in 24 big trays, accompanied by a variety of fresh salads. The pick-up process was smooth and efficient, showcasing their ability to handle large orders with ease. But the real highlight was the food itself. The meat was cooked to perfection – tender, flavorful, and abundant. The rice served under the meat was a delightful surprise, rich in flavour and perfectly complementing the lamb. What stood out to us, in addition to the delicious food, was the quality of service and communication. The team at Albaik Eldon Square was fantastic in coordinating this large order. Their attention to detail and commitment to customer satisfaction were evident throughout our interaction. Overall, our experience with Albaik Eldon Square was exceptional. Great food, excellent service, and seamless coordination – they truly exceeded our expectations for catering a large event. Highly recommended for anyone looking for quality catering services!

Fantastic food and service always

First time visiting over the weekend and it won’t be the last. The food was delicious, really impressed! All the team we spoke with were so friendly and informative with their knowledge on gluten free and felt totally at ease. I can’t wait to come back, thank you!

We enjoyed a beautiful meal here, the kebabs were very tasty and after our meal we were given a complimentary sweet to share between us. Will definitely go back.

Food was phenomenal here price was good value just soft drinks served here aswell think you can bring own alcohol in tho but do check first when visiting

Service was slow, kebabs were okay but nothing special... But the biggest problem was we were served a salad with a hair in it, obviously from a beard... The owner/manager/boss hurriedly replaced it but no apology and still charged for it - he seemed too busy to care - which is a slap in the face when you've just been grossed out, then we notices none of the kitchen staff were wearing anything to stop this happening and honestly lost our appetites. Also atmosphere was like a busy fast food place but with the extra charm of a shopping mall, what's not to love. Juice was good, everything else a fail.

First time eating Lebanese food. The Lebanese restaurant has delicious and authentic food. Superb and generous portion. Feel like in Lebanon with good vibe Arab music. Kind and friendly staff making effort we shall have pleasant experience at the restaurant. Last but not least the chicken shawarma in tender and moisture with lots taste.

Always loved going to the Bake One in Gosforth when I lived there. I was recently visiting Newcastle again and passed by their Eldon Square restaurant tonight while shopping and couldn’t not dine in. Oh my god so pleased I did, the food is as delicious as it was when I used to go to the Gosforth one years ago. It is just perfection, I had the Sea Bass which I highly recommend. The portion sizes are very generous, the breads , salads and dips are amazing. The staff are so friendly and helpful. The Bake One will always be one of my favourite restaurants! 💕

My usual restaurant when I have the Middle Eastern food craving in Newcastle. Nice set up, wide choice of dishes, with consistency in food quality.

We called in this afternoon for lunch and my wife and I were very impressed by the quality of the food and the service from the staff. Absolutely top notch. We will be back very soon.

The food was very nice, we both tried the lamb wrap which came with chips, pickles, garlic sauce, it was really good. The drinks were a little expensive £3 for a can of coke is a bit excessive. The staff were pleasant and polite .

I recently ordered lunch from Bake Eldon Square at work, and unfortunately, my experience left much to be desired. Despite the enticing buy one get one free offer, the delayed delivery and lackluster quality of the food left me with a less than satisfactory meal. To begin with, the delivery was an hour late, which was inconvenient considering I had ordered the food for my lunch break. The tardiness set the tone for the overall experience, and unfortunately, things did not improve upon opening the package. I opted for the chicken shawarma and chips, a classic combination that one would expect to be executed well. However, the reality fell far short of expectations. The chips were disappointingly cold, as if they had been sitting around for a while, and they tasted more like scraps than the crispy, flavorful side one would hope for. It was a letdown to say the least. The real disappointment, however, came with the chicken shawarma. Instead of the savory, well-seasoned shawarma one anticipates, the chicken had a distinct flavor reminiscent of leftover poultry from the night before. Not only was it dry, but it also exhibited a burnt taste that indicated a lack of attention to detail in the cooking process. This was a far cry from the quality one would expect, especially when paying for a meal, even with a promotional offer. While I appreciate the attempt to attract customers with a buy one get one free deal, it should not come at the expense of the food's quality. Customers deserve a satisfying dining experience regardless of promotional offers. In this case, the subpar delivery time and disappointing taste of both the chips and chicken shawarma left me with a regrettable lunch experience from Bake Eldon Square. I hope the establishment takes this feedback constructively to improve their service and maintain the trust of their customers.

Good food. Friendly service. Desert from home. I normally never eat deserts but this was semolina pudding!!!!!!

Fabulous food and great staff. It is in a shopping mall so the atmosphere is a little lacking but judging by the amount of customers, that isn't a huge issue. The food and the service more than makes up for that.

I may be biased because I love Lebanese food but it was really good. They treat you really well as a customer. Only issue is they weren't always checking on us, whether we needed a drink or something else. They also don't serve alcohol. The place deserves a lush restaurant with more Lebanese atmosphere. At the moment it's like an open restaurant next to where everyone walks by. Menu needs more pictures especially because it is foreign cuisine.

In a city centre saturated with food options it can be difficult to choose a good stop. I'm glad we chose this place. Everything was delicious. The rice was tender and buttery. The chicken has the flavour of the grill without being overpowering. The salad was made to order. The chips are fat and crispy. Staff are friendly and welcoming. Service was quick. My only disapproving observation is that the drinks were pricey. £3 for a can of pop feels excessive but the complementary choc cake softened that blow. Thank you.

We had a meal from here via the to good to go box, and to say it was average would be generous, the food was overcooked, the “salad” was around a thimble full, the few chips that came with it were cold and stale. I understand it was a cheaper box, but you at least expect the food to be cooked!

This has been my new favourite resto this year! Not only the food is amazing but it’s cheaper as well when going in big group! We usually ordered the chicken platter and briyani rice (loads of choices). One thing to be aware is that it might took up 30-45 mins for the food but it’s definitely worth the wait! 🤩👍

What a lovely find this restaurant is. I visited at lunchtime and was quickly found a table. The complimentary olives and dips was a nice addition. The food arrived promptly and my plate of food was huge. I just about managed to finish it but I didn’t eat for the rest of the day! I’ll certainly visit The Bake again.

We were in the shopping center looking for somewhere to eat & came across this restaurant. What an excellent decision! The food was absolutely delicious & the portion sizes were large. The staff were extremely helpful & friendly. The next day, I noticed I was missing my purse. Luckily, I called up the restaurant and it was in their lost a found. Bless them! I would definitely recommend this place 100%.

Oh my goodness the food was amazing! A great find inside the shopping centre. Very attentive service, large portions and very reasonably priced.

My 19 year old granddaughter and I were walking past The Bake when we were offered a taster. My granddaughter has a severe nut allergy and we asked if there were nuts in the sample we were offered. The water actually checked before telling us that it was nut free. The sample was delicious and we decided to eat there. The staff were amazing and extremely knowledgeable about their food and its ingredients. It reassured us that it was a safe place for her to eat. This was such a treat as her choices are often very limited. The food was really delicious. Plenty of it to the point we couldn’t eat it all. The menu was extensive and reasonably priced. I would recommend it to anyone, especially people with allergies who want a safe place to enjoy a meal. Thank you all for a great lunch experience, we will definitely be back to try more of your wonderful meals.

Food is always up to par at The Bake and the staff are always great. Ordered a Main chicken Shawarma with rice and cheese Sambousek as a side, the chicken was juicy with a great taste and the rice is some of the best I’ve had. The Sambousek were a great addition to the meal as well. Whenever I’m craving Lebanese food I will come here.

This is our first time tried The Bake. They are very friendly and helpful. We ordered The Baked Mixed Shawarma and Kafta Khosh-Khash with rice. Though the Kafta Khosh-Khash is marked in chili icon, but for me it's not spicy at all. Other than the spiciness, everything's delicious and suit our palate. The rice is unbelievably good. I also tried the Lebanese Coffee. It is quite good, just not my cup of coffee. 😉

We had wraps to take out after the match, this was our first time eating here and we will be back, the food was awesome, there was plenty of it. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Not very expensive either. Thanks 👍

Great food, but £3 for a can off pop is criminal and then a 13% service charge added to the bill, for what is like a burger king set up is a bit much

My family eat here every week. The food is delicious. I recommend the grilled chicken wings especially. All the staff are super friendly and welcoming, especially Muhammed Moulie. The great taste of the Middle East right here in Newcastle.

A great place, authentic Lebanese/Syrian food with nice background Arabic music. Very nice staff, quick service if you tell them you were in a hurry. Still, food was great. Strongly recommended.

To be honest, the food is good, but unfortunately there is exaggerated price manipulation, especially when they known that you are from Kuwait or Saudi. He adjusts the price and adds additional service fees, which are not compulsory in Britain, so my experience will not be repeated with them, and I will tell my friends

Really excellent food, much higher quality than you'd expect for somewhere in Eldon Square. Great presentation too. Staff were really friendly and attentive at just the right amount. And got a lovely panna cotta thrown in as dessert for free at the end. Will be going back next time we're in town

Me and my friend came here for the 1st time earlier this week. We got 2 fruit mocktails (basically smoothies), the mixed kebab and whole sea bass with rice as a main course, everything was delicious! The smoothies were very refreshing, and the food was splendid! And the portions were massive, good value for money! We were also given free olives and dips which were nice too. The staff were friendly and accommodating, the atmosphere was nice too. Would recommend this place 100%, can't wait to come back already!

An experience that will not be repeated. Exaggerating the price. You place an order and set your mind on a certain amount. Suddenly, you find that the amount has become double what you can afford. You asked for extra pickles. He charged me 4 pounds. I wish he could eat 👎🏼👎🏼👎🏼

Took my son and wife there today for a late lunch. Very clean, staff very attentive and open to a joke or two and some light conversation. Food was well beyond the quality of what I expect from venues like this so I was very surprised. Prices were fair and competitive, especially when compared to the other eat in places along the walkway at Eldon square. Overall my wife was very happy, and let me tell you she is not easy to please.

I've had Lebanese food a number of times before but this restaurant was a bit disappointing, especially as it was to be my friends' introduction to the cuisine. Most of the wait staff didn't understand much English which made it difficult to communicate when they kept trying to bring other people's dishes to our table. Another review here says that better organisation and the assignment of one staff member per table would help, and I definitely agree. The rice and olives were nice, the pastries were fine though very generic looking, but the chicken with the shawarma was quite poor, thinly sliced and bland. I know how good Lebanese food CAN be, so for this to be very average was a shame.

Un known about the food just though it was rude of staff using the public disabled toilets for there customers im wheelchair user and have an radar key wich let's me in to public desbilt toilets considering this toilets has nothing to do with the restaurant the banging on the door as soon as I got into the toilet and the dirty looks I got from the staff I would not go hear

I review very rare. Couldn’t resist putting up review on my recent visit to The Bake Eldon. It’s on of the fines Lebanese restaurants I have ever tried. The food is so delicious and the meat is very fresh. Good value for the money. I highly recommend the restaurant.

Had a lovely meal here. Food was all excellent and reasonably priced as well as large portions. Staff were lovely, and we were given complimentary olives, bread, and dips at the beginning, as well as a free milk pudding to share between the three of us at the end (more than adequate size). I was so full after, and we had to take some leftovers home. I don't have much experience with Lebanese food, but it was better than the only other Lebanese place I've been to (which is highly rated). There were plenty of vegetarian options for a table of three vegetarians, and we all can't wait to come back and try more of the dishes. The only thing I wasn't keen on is the 13% service charge added onto the bill. As someone who currently can't afford to tip I find it really awkward to ask for it to be taken off 🤦‍♀️ but this seems to be becoming more popular. Also, the standard 10% would be more reasonable than 13%. Still, we had a lovely time and will be back. Thank you 🙏
