We went for dinner with our kids after a walk. The food was great and service was brilliant. Food is only serviced on Thursday Fridays and weekends. It is worth the money.

Atmosphere and setting was lovely, traditional and authentic. Staff were very friendly and overall service 10/10. Slight draft at table which the staff without asking added more wood to the fire which heated the place up. Food was well presented, we both had burgers. I had the gourmet Scotsman which was delicious and my friend had the classic burger.

Popped in for a tasty lunch and good blether with the staff. It was quiet but it was early in week. Tasty homemade steak pie and vegetables. Well worth a visit.

What a great wee pub. Staff are brilliant and the locals are really friendly. They have live music at the weekends. We saw Rock Therapy, a brilliant cover band who play there often. Drinks are reasonably priced and they do food.

145 High StreetI would definitely recommend this hotel all staff members are friendly and welcoming. The beds and very comfortable and you also get free WiFi throughout the hotel. You get a good choice on breakfasts in the morning and also get offered more if you would like. There was lots of choice in the food menu as on first night we had some dinner and the food is very good. The manager of the hotel is also lovely my partner forgot a belt for a wedding we were attending and the manager went out of his way to get us one which we really appreciate. If we have to come back to bigger for an event we would definitely be booking into the Elphinstone again. Thank you very much.

Unit 2/4 35 Main streetTo Phil and Sandy...We just wanted to send a five star plus review after our final visit to our favourite restaurant...which is sadly closing we have been going to this wonderful restaurant for over 20 years the food is brilliant but more importantly the hospitality is fab. You will be sadly missed and best wishes for the future see you around!!!!
