Nice place for cream tea or afternoon tea. Toast, crumpets tea cakes. Lovely staff. Coffee is mild...which I like, not too strong. Decor is great.

We stumbled across this lovely tea room by chance but wanted to share it so others could find it. What a fabulous place. We enjoyed jacket potatoes with salad, but everything looked delicious, including homemade cakes. We also saw an afternoon tea served, absolutely amazing Prices, we thought were too low, and we were happy to give a tip. Excellent service and food.

You are really missing out if you do not visit this adorable cafe. I was looking for somewhere to enjoy a hot drink and some cake and I am was so lucky to have found this hidden gem. I am gluten free and there were many options for me. It is also a mini shop, my friend and me bought these gorgeous bracelets. So you are seriously missing out if give this place a miss cause it made my whole trip better.

We happened to stumble on this place towards the end of our day really, which was sad as they do not open on Sundays. It is a really interesting shop and a cafe. It has great views where you can take a seat and chill out, it has a really relaxing vibe. For us, it had loads of gluten free options, and the gluten free Victoria sponge cake didn’t taste gluten free at all. This is the first place we will come on our next trip to Bridlington!

A simply lovely experience for all, run by a friendly lady, who makes all the home made cakes, soups and sandwich fillings. The decor and assortment of merchandise is a delight, as is the friendly warm greeting and service. We absolutely loved it and shall regularly partake in this treat.

Bridlington has more than its fair share of predictable cafes and chain names. It also has more than its fair share of mobility scooters making safe passage for pedestrians even more precarious than usual. Thank goodness then that we discovered this quaint and quite quiet intimate tear rooms and gift shop. It's up a narrow flight of steps which rules out the aforementioned scooters. It's dog friendly but thankfully most pet owners prefer ground floor premises for their pampered pooches. All in all then it was ideal for two weary pet free walkers who just wanted a break from the shoppers et al. It's a bonus then that the coffee is excellent and there are enough cakes (and other things!) to satiate any needed sugar boost. The proprietor is very friendly and chatty - and the place is filled with gift ideas at reasonable prices. Grab a window to watch the world (or at least its traffic) go by.

A beautiful cafe within a small lovely shop. It was busy so a bit of a wait but we were made aware before we sat down and it was due to illness. Nice tasty snacks and great cake on offer. Also nice tea and coffee too. Whilst you wait can also have a look round the shop. Would certainly visit again if in Bridlington.

This is a first floor cafe so has no street frontage but it’s worth making the effort to go up the stairs! Lovely freshly made sandwiches and a good view over the street. Lots of cards and interesting bits and pieces to buy as well. All in all a very nice place.

My husband and I visited Bridlington with friends on a very cold, windy and snow-covered Saturday recently. Having nearly been blown away on the seafront we felt in need of a hot cuppa and a bite to eat. By chance we found The Attic. Having climbed the stairs to The Attic, we found ourselves in a space where a tea shop and retail shop were neatly combined. The Attic stocks a wonderfully eclectic range of goods from vintage clothing to original paintings.Admittedly the choice of sandwiches was limited, but they were freshly made, well-filled and delicious. The cakes were also lovely. The service was quietly efficient and friendly and the surroundings retro and comfortable. All in all it is well worth the climb up to The Attiic.

The Attic is a delightful tea room. It is located upstairs, just follow the signs from the street. Dogs are welcome too. It has two separate rooms for seating. The decor is vintage/shabby chic. If you love vintage, you won’t want to miss a visit to The Attic. There are dresses, jewelry, posters, ribbons, tea pots, tea cups, works from talented local artists, fantastic light fixtures, and antiques all for sale. The food is excellent and the service was phenomenal. Top notch! We felt like we were guests at a friend’s house rather than having a meal at a restaurant. We were so welcomed into this charming tea room. I highly, HIGHLY recommend The Attic. It is such a lovely place with friendly people who are happy to see you.

Fantastic quirky tea room with attached gift shop selling unusual gifts. We had the afternoon cream tea. It came with a choice of sandwiches, cake, cream scone and unlimited tea or coffee and at a price I found hard to believe were 2017 prices so low . Thanks Lynne for your attentiveness and welcome.

Bit dingy lighting, given that the cafe is deep back to front. The teacake was delicious but only scantily buttered and not around the edges, so ask for extra butter. A serviette would have been nice. Taylor decaf tea was extra weak, ask for an extra tea bag to get a bit of taste

I was not looking forward to my lockdown birthday so you can imagine how excited I was to receive an Afternoon Tea from my daughter. The platter was brought to my door by Mrs M herself. It was beautifully presented and even had a Happy Birthday sticker on it. The food was delicious, I can honestly say that every mouthful was sublime. Highly recommended! It really made me feel special.
