We ate here two evenings during our stay. The food is ok bar food with a limited menu. Didnt feel the food was prepared with any love. The restaurant is a bit bright and although busy there wasn't much ambience. They could make it much more cosy. Drinks are good and for a hotel, they are not badly priced. Staff were really excellent as they were all very friendly and couldnt do enough for you.

Hotel restaurant, food is mediocre and expensive for what you get. Avoid the flatbread it was like a hard crisp not what I had in mind.

One of the worst dining experiences of my life. If I could give zero stars I would . The restaurant itself has a nice ambience , the menu looked quite good but with little choice. The 8oz rib eye was unavailable , so when I asked the waiter what was the difference between the Persian flat bread with spicy lamb, or spicy lamb with flatbread he didn’t know , his response she was that the flatbread on the lamb dish was more like a popadom , although I pointed out to him that it came with a popadom. We ordered the cod with new potatoes and green beans , which was ok. The fish was plain but ok. The flatbread for £15 was from a packet ( about the size of a 6” pizza) with very little lamb and garnish. A Chicago town pizza would have been better , the flat bread was biscuit like, over cooked and not very appetising . I would not revisit this restaurant . The waitress when taking the plates asked if everything was ok, I explained that it was below my expectations and that the flat bread was not homemade, she said she also didn’t know about the food . The hotel was fantastic . Food poor

Food just ok. Waiter extremely good and professional but while we were there he was alone serving 24 covers that included a table of 12. Couldn't fault him but with one table of that size there should be more staff as diners had to wait

We purchased 2 chairs and a sofa from the Orange Tree. Unfortunately there was an issue with the sofa. The manager, David was exceptional he was persistent with the supplier and represented our best interests. He resolved our issue with excellent results. The sofa and chairs are of excellent quality and I wouldn’t have any hesitation in shopping at the Orange Tree again. Thank you

A really lovely village pub. The staff were really friendly and helpful. A good selection of drinks and a good menu. We had the venison cottage pie with sides of mac n cheese homemade slaw and Parmesan chips. All cooked and presented very well indeed. We can highly recommend this lovely pub. Thank you and keep up the good work.

Had the haddock and chips takeaway offer for £11 whilst on holiday in the area. Felt that the fish and chips were very good and the portion size was great for me and my wife to share. Also ordered pineapple fritter, curry sauce and mushy peas. All good quality cooked fresh and served hot. The shop is cash only, and parking near the shop can be a little tricky, but overall a good experience.
