Very hit & miss...they just don't know how to make HOT coffee, you ask for extra hot but it's still warm. They don't have the nice traditional bread any more or crusty rolls, not everyone likes sourdough. The previous bakers used to have a long queue on Saturdays for there lovely freshly baked bread, sad to see the decline. Carnt grumble about the cakes, they have a good selection.

Stopped in after a Sunday afternoon drive, they still had a good selection of bread and cakes. The coffee and stickies were good and so was the service. We will be back 👍

Delicious iced doughnuts, iced buns and pastries to take away. Nice friendly staff behind the counter. So nice to have a bakery in our village that is open every day.

I absolutely agree with the last lady's review. We have used The Artisan Café many times, the menu was good and it was clean and well organised. Over the last few weeks I have notice a definite decline and a reduced menu. Today we went, it was empty but the tables were dirty. I had to ask twice to have ours cleared. There was no urgency with some of the staff. Our chicken shawarma burger, which we have had 3 times and the first time was lovely, was cold. Only one of them came with the salad that it should have. When one of the group went to use the toilet, they couldn't because it was so disgusting and the ladies toilet is still out of use after more than at least a week. The whole place looks a little dirty and we will not be rushing back, even though we regularly spent about £35 a visit.

Visited here a few times recently & noticed they've reduced the menu, which was a shame as it had a great selection. Have to say no complaints with the food & drinks but disappointed by the decor & cleanliness. The tables aren't always cleared & the cutlery pots are not regularly topped up. It lacks an atmosphere & a couple of the staff could do with some customer service training! The toilet almost resembles a public toilet, which I found quite off putting. If these things were improved it would be a lovely place.

As a local resident of 19 years, I’m very pleased to see the new lease of life brought to The Artisan Bakery. It continues to serve myself and my family including our dog! for many occasions, breakfast, lunch and grabbing a quick coffee, not forgetting the delicious cakes and pastries. We often grab a coffee when taking a nice walk through the heath. Often returning for a spot lunch, which has recently had additional items added….the grilled chicken burger is amazing. Having a local independent bakery is a true treasure to the area, specially knowing all of the staff are welcoming, friendly and polite. Highly recommend!

Heard from this cafe/bakery from a friend and I've just decided to have a go. As soon as went in, I was amazed with the variety of cakes on the display! Couldn't resist to try a lemon meringue tart after a delicious phili steak toastie and some loaded fries! I had to take some cakes with me and a multigrain sourdough recommend by who served me. Great environment and staff! I highly recommend to have a go!

It just isnt what it used to be, seems to have lost the feel of a traditional bakers and just feels like a not very good cafe.

Purchased a chicken and ham lattice, sausage roll,Cornish pasty and curried vegetable turnover, they were dry with hard pastry dry filling and clearly not fresh. The Chalet used to serve lovely food and takeaways, today the food I bought went in the bin absolutely disgraceful and very overpriced .I will just vote with my purse and go to another local cafe.

What has happened to this bakery? Used to love going there for bacon sandwiches made with their own fresh bread. Now they only serve bacon and sausage in a brioche roll. Only toast you can have is sourdough. Had coffee and a fruit roll there last week, roll was not fresh, butter served is hard so you cannot spread and can’t warm up as is cut from a block. Used to be really busy, especially on a Saturday morning, this morning was empty. Not surprised. Worst of all is staff are not friendly and welcoming. Very expensive now, bought 4 fruit buns and 2 iced buns today £8.20!!! Next time we will go to M & S.

Dad and I had a MOST EXTRAORDINARY incident when house hunting in Tadworth……….. we went to this coffee shop/bakery ( in tadworth) and were sitting at one of the tables trying to eat the most steak slice and drink tea. The over cooked pastry flaked all over the table and the floor: like psoriasis. Meanwhile outside on the pavement this woman picked up her sausage dogs poo in a bag and put it in her shopping bag! Then walked into the bakery : and started ordering buns. And the girl behind the counter came out and started petting the sausage dogs for ages and then went to the Kitchen ( where the sausage rolls are cooked) hopefully to wash her hands before serving cakes again. Dad and I still want to move to Tadworth: but wont go to that bakery again

Came down from London to meet friends in Tadworth and booked in to The Artisan Bakery on a Sunday for brunch - and it didn’t disappoint. My poached egg with salmon on sourdough was perfectly done. All four of us ordered different dishes and we all loved what we had. Our plates were scraped clean. There was a wide range of breads and baked goodies nicely displayed. I took a bag home for the family. The cinnamon bun was fab, the kids fought over the millionaires shortbread and doughnuts, and I’m looking forward to the carrot muffin with a cuppa later. Service was thoughtful and friendly too - even the dog was made to feel welcome - a fabulous little cafe!

Just thrown away an expensive cup of coffee as it was dreadful - tasted week cheap and nasty. The only bread worth buying is the granary sourdough . Staff aren’t very friendly . What has happened ?

The Chalet used to be a lovely bakery and coffee shop. Since being taken over, the quality and service have plummeted and the prices rocketed. I suppose it is now an "Artisan" bakery, but I and I suspect most of the local residents would like the Chalet back, baking the bread they always used to and serving excellent breakfasts. It would be nice to have some friendly staff back too!

Since changing hands this bakery is now absolutely dreadful. The bread is terrible and the cakes are awful all very plastic tasting and often stale. Very very disappointing.

Fabulous lunch for a special birthday, to say the food was better than pub grub is an understatement. The thing that stood out even more was the excellent service, charming and attentive without being overbearing or hurried. Thank you Jason, Sarah and Charlie

drinks were absolutely phenomenal, staff were lovely, however there were builders screaming and swearing and throwing tools on the floor when we visited. i of course understand that the staff cannot help what other people do but there was no effort to ask them to quiet down or even to just lay off the swearing as there were a number of young children in the cafe and it was incredibly unpleasant. i usually really like this place but im disappointed with my recent visit and id recommend sticking to the costa in redhill town centre if you can.

ケーキやタルトで有名な老舗チェーン店。紅茶はポットにたっぷり、イギリスの水のせいかとても濃くて美味しい。サーブもてきぱきとしていて気持ちよかったです。

I had a free coffee token so wanted to try something different, but didn't want to go too high calorie. The lady was able to recommend a few options and I went with the Haze Maple Latte, which was real good.
