The Artillery Arms in Portsmouth

Visited the AA with friends and it’s a warm and welcoming local Portsmouth pub. Good variety lagers, ales in a traditional setting at sensible prices. What let it down was the dog excrement in the garden which, in this day and age, is really unwelcome in a pub setting. Sort it out AA management - it’s spoiling your lovely boozer!!

Great little pub tucked away in the Milton area. Friendly staff, good prices and regular guest ales. The pub has a terrific atmosphere and a lovely beer garden (be careful where you tread though as there are numerous dog turds scattered around!) Highly recommended.

Délicieux et atmosphère vraiment agréable. Il y a des choix très variés. Dommage il n y a plus de gâteaux Banoffee. Un jour je reviendrai avec ma famille ou mes amis

Pre- and post-match drinks for visiting away fans. No issues with Portsmouth fans in same pub. Locals friendly and chatty, great atmosphere. Good selection of excellent beers, at reasonable prices. Beer garden too. We either walked or had a taxi, but realised parking nearby would be difficult. But worth visiting again. No idea if food served; we didn't see or order any.
