Great student pub, lovely beer garden and dog friendly. They welcomed my crazy pup. The staff were great. Food is cheap pub grub but good for easy fast food eating. Always sports on the tvs and good pool table area.

Rob and Megan are some of the nicest people I've ever had serve me in a bar. Plus tye food and drinks are some of the better priced in town.

Had an amazing experience thanks to our server Kelsey, very little time waiting on our orders and no complaints from what was delivered to our table, and our server was enthusiastic and kind the entire night!

Used to be a decent place to go, prices for pints are extortionate! Went to counting house on the other side of george square and it was half the price, charging about £7 a pint is wild, its not a fancy place its a student place

The Ark Glasgow is fab🍻✨ The atmosphere is lively and welcoming. The drinks are top-notch, and the beer garden is fantastic 🍹🌿 The staff are super friendly and attentive, ensuring you have a great experience from start to finish. 👏😊 One of the highlights is that live sport is always showing on their massive screens 🏟️⚽📺 I came here for my work night out, and it was a brilliant choice for a fun evening with colleagues! The only downside was the corridor leading to the toilets—it had a pretty unpleasant smell, which was a bit off-putting. 🚻😬 Hopefully, that's something they can address soon!

Just feels a little bit daft to not let someone in sports attire in to watch a sports game at a sports pub. Got to be suited and booted to see some footy apparently.

Great pub with a nice outside area, there is a pool table which is great. It's very busy at night so can sometimes be hard to grab a drink but all the people is just a testament to how nice the venue is.

Called to ask about if a pre order for food had been received by the staff. The girl on the phone explained that she could not share that as it was sensitive information, it’s a food order ? It was my girlfriend’s name under the booking. However, another man that was attending then phoned and asked about it and he was put straight through to the relevant staff, whom I was sitting in the same room as at the time. However, he was not asked for a booking reference by the same girl a mere 5 minutes after my call and it clearly was no longer sensitive information. A joke and a waste of time.

Booked here for food after work today and ordered a burger with skin on chips and added burnt ends, food came and alas no burnt ends to be seen in the vicinity. We thought maybe they might bring them in a side dish, whole meal almost consumed and still the paid for extra didn't make an appearance. Asked at the bar, was informed by the bartender that they "didn't know what to do with the burnt ends as they were a burger topping". I am aware of this which is why I ordered them. Evidently no burnt ends were ever given and nor was an offer of a refund. The chicken tandoori skewers were also oddly either absolutely freezing and chewy or microwave roasting hot 👌🏼 we won't be back, which is a shame because it's a lovely venue but just fell short this time, as did the non existent burnt ends burn a tiny hole in my debit card.

Pub era bueno, pero busto, la comida era agradable pero usé el código QR rojo en la parte delantera de su menú , pensé que estaba descargando la aplicación de comida y me cobró £ 1 en ese momento que no pensé mucho en ese momento. Mi banco me llamó ayer por una transacción por 59 libras. 99 que estaba tratando de sacar de mi cuenta... Bloqueé esta transacción, lo que ha resultado en que mi tarjeta se cancele y ahora tenga que esperar una nueva tarjeta. Esto es muy inconveniente, así que solo una advertencia para cualquiera si sus clientes. Nunca he tenido tanta experiencia, y me ha hecho pensar en no volver. Quizás echar un vistazo a ese código QR...

Great place to visit for a wee drink in Glasgow. A stones throw away from George Square. The food is lovely with a better choice than most pub food. Nice atmosphere too. I visited with three friends and we all had a most enjoyable time for a Saturday evening. I would highly recommend it.

Alex nos cuidó increíblemente bien ... especialmente como una mujer soltera 'de cierta edad' esperando a sus amigos para el almuerzo alcohólico, me hicieron sentir a gusto y bien atendido. Es un joven encantador (para no sonar como su abuela) , hace un cóctel medio (algo gritar a Ashley por su excepcional Martinis expreso) Muy elogiado. Sin duda volveremos.

I booked a table through their automated system via a phone call for 7 people for drinks and to watch the NFL. We arrived, the place was reasonably busy but nothing I've not experienced before. Took ages to get served, they couldn't find our booking despite showing my confirmation. The lady in charge said she'd look into it and get back to me, which she never did. We found a table and the night continued, I asked the same person to change a tv channel from NFL redzone to the live NFL game. Again pointing at the area and TV, and again she disappointed us by not only not changing the tv but offered no explanation or apology. The final straw was someone being sick all over the men's toilet. I'd brought 5 friends from the US in for their first Glasgow experience. It's just a pity it lived up to the stereotype. I'll certainly be in no rush to come back. Really disappointing and sadly for me embarrassing to boot. Emailed them a few days later. Never heard back.

I came here on the 13th of December with my boyfriend to celebrate our one year anniversary we booked our table and was looking forward to a lovely meal. We were shocked when we showed up to find out our table was placed in the center of a bunch of drunks, our chairs were stolen away by other customers and when asked to return them they complained to me and the staff the area was so over crowned it was very unpleasant, we did ask to be moved but was told other tables had reservations which I also had but I wasn’t allowed chairs. I did explain to the staff woman I had phoned all week to discuss and ask questions about the restaurant but no one called me back even after I left my number and name. I was very disappointed about this experience

As a travelling Australian visiting for a short time in Glasgow I cannot speak highly enough of this sports pub. A place that viewed all live sport when on & reasonably priced beers & pool. Special mention to Alfie who served me and my mates throughout the night bringing the vibes and banter from across the bar making the night even more special. Will be back 1000%

A brilliant pub located city centre. Boozy brunch is a cracking deal and Alex who is our server for boozy brunch is just lovely can't do enough for you. Would highly recommend 👌

Iv put 1 star but if I could give it zero I would. Out with my friend and went outside and the security wouldn't let us back in , to get my friends jacket. They flagged down police and ended up in the police station for the night for "hate crime" which is ridiculous! All through not letting us getting a jacket ! No aggressive behaviour or violence all security's word ! Be very careful visiting this place !

The first time I went to the ark I was ecstatic to find the service was on point. I want to say one server in particular helped out so much. Not only was he happy to help he was also available. Special shout out to Andy or Andrew for the service. He was a real one.

Was served by a lovely bartender called Andrew. His service was quick, and he always had a smile on his face. Will be back again (As long as he is the one serving us!!!)

Brilliant boozy brunch with an amazing choice of drinks (you can have a maximum of 6 drinks which is incredible for the price and they are great quality). Our server, Katie, was absolutely incredible. Super accomodating, kind, patient (🤣) and had the banter to match. Thank you so much Katie, you made our hen weekend boozy brunch totally worth it! 💕

5 of us had a fantastic late afternoon /night on Thursday! We arent students but the Drinks, food and service were great even though they had a function upstairs and the football on. Always one of our favs and our go to place.

Great selection of draft beer in a relaxed atmosphere with a beer garden and plenty of screens to watch the football.

Generally a decent atmosphere whenever I have visited The Ark however I am compelled to write a review due to the strange phenomenon of 'queuing at the bar' appearing here on more than one occasion. I feel the staff should actively discourage this as please remember it is a pub, not a post office!

Great place to go on a nice day, the back patio was perfect to sit out and enjoy a beer and some grub. Try and find a table with a number on it so you can order food and drinks straight to the table, some of them are missing numbers, not a big deal to go up to the bar to order it’s just nice to do it straight from the table.

Always enjoy the Ark when I come over to Glasgow. Great beers/drinks and the staff are always friendly. Prices are decent and the app is handy aswell. Outdoor garden, screens for sports etc and pool tables too.

Had a birthday brunch booked for 12 for my birthday - Rob looked after the whole Group! Food was great, music and atmosphere were buzzing and the drinks kept coming - can’t recommend enough! Thanks Rob!

Drinks and food were excellent. My Guinness was, however, spoiled by being served in a straight non Guinness glass. Anyone who knows their Guinness knows that this is a no no. The pub had a good atmosphere though, we'd booked a table for 6 hours. Used the app to get orders straight to the table that arrived quickly despite the pub being busy.

We'd had a great night, but Megan at The Ark made it an Amazing night, Top Class Service, Great Banter, Best Bartender in Glasgow. Cheers Megan!

Visited The Ark as part of a stag night. Megan was working the upstairs bar and was a great sport, she put up with a lot of nonsense from our group with a fantastic attitude and a laugh and a smile, she is a credit to the team here.

One of the best and busiest beer gardens in the city center. Outside if you can get a seat is great and inside is just as good. Good drink selection and decent food menu choices.

I had the BEST burger I ever had in my whole life. Great ambient, good vegetarian selection. Beer was good prized. I stayed in glasgow just one night and i went twice.

Bar staff have limited knowledge of alcohol and brands which, when ordering drinks does cause issues.

A very nice and friendly pub people so nice and drinks at a good price and so was the food and a great beer garden dog friendly and staff are so helpful and friendly and even allows dogs to eat in the beer garden which was great for our little westie still a great place to have a night out with friends and family and the food is great and a lot of different choices on the menu still great value for money and staff very friendly and helpful plus sports entertainment and such a friendly atmosphere you will enjoy yourself so if you visit Glasgow City you should pop in to the Ark and I know that you will have a great time still a great place to have a few beers and something to eat and staff members are still as friendly and can take your dog in

Overall a nice place to eat, definitely a "sports bar", but a great location for some food and drinks. The menu is you're typical pub food style, with burgers, grill selection, pizza, and small plates. This venue lacks the personal touch as the ordering process is via an app, with only the server bringing you what you order, which I'm not the biggest fan of. There also alot of TVs around the place, which is great if you're wanting to catch the "game", but isn't ideal for date night. Lovely venue, with a pool table and beergarden, definitely worth a visit.

Great atmosphere for the Euros final

Went here for the boozy brunch before a show at the armadillo. Outstanding quality and price. The pizza was delicious and the cocktails went down too good. Great atmosphere, friendly and attentive staff, special mention to Aniela who kept us topped up on drinks, couldn’t have been nicer and chatted away. Will be back.

Had a lovely burger and pint here the other day. The atmosphere in the beer garden was great. Lukasz gave me some great recommendations.

I was in Glasgow last weekend to see some old friends and we went to the Ark for a pizza and a few pints. They have a great selection of craft beers - Lukasz was really patient with helping us choose which to go with. I will definitely be back next time I'm in Glasgow!

Great place recommended, just a quick visit for food and a couple of drinks but really enjoyed it. Staff all very friendly , especially Ewan behind the bar - made us feel really welcome!

I was in a couple of weeks ago for my birthday, had the best time because of the girl serving me. I think her name was Eilidh, she was so kind. We had a few issues with our orders and she fixed it for us immediately.

Boozy brunch was great! Amazing deal, and can taste the alcohol in the drinks. Sophie was a great host and very attentive. Would recommend and will definitely be back.

I've been served on multiple occasions by Ewan and Caleb who were very friendly and fast. They were chatty and good for a bit of banter. Clearly some very experienced quality bar staff.

the only bad experience i had was during a scotland game when I was waiting at the front of the bar for 30 mins while the bartender kept catering to new people coming in...it was very annoying

A brilliant bar next to the station. A wide range of drinks to choose from, with tv's showing the sports. Served by a lad named caleb, poured an excellent glass of tennants. Amazing staff!

Went the other day for a euro game. Didn't put the sound on for the national anthems (and the first 5 minutes of the game) which really takes away from the experience and disappointed the whole table. We then had to go back into the bar to ask the manager to turn the sound on to which the manager replied "no". Big up to the bar staff that turned the sound on when we decided to ask somebody else. This is the 4th time out of the 4 times I have booked to see an World Cup/Euro game and the bar has done this. Overall it's just a pretty shocking sense of priorities for a bar which is reknown for being a "SPORTS" bar. People decide to go to this bar to enjoy the 10 minutes before the game and the half time commentary and instead we are treated to loud commercial music. Our group (and I have no doubt others) will be watching the euros in other bars from now on.
