The Ardwick in Blackpool

Nice pub cheap beer good music would have given it a five but I ordered 1 pint of Coors and half came to 5.40 I think the man with the pork pie hat on gave me 60 p and 3 pound coins I stood and counted my change 3 times to see if I'd added it up correctly the man in the hat walked past me I said to him you have short change me without hesitation and never looked or question it he said I owe you a pound don't I imagine if he is doing that every night to 100 people and they don't check

Me and my son popped in for a drink and Karaoke was on and the DJ was brilliant giving banter to everyone and commented on my likeness to Peter Griffin from Family Guy he even put it on screen when I got up to sing. Lovely, friendly staff and the outside area could win an award for it's design, and as we both love a Strongbow who can say no at £1.80 a pint 😊

Good atmosphere and the cheapest place for a pint in Blackpool. £1.80 a pint for fosters strongbow John smiths and Murphys. It has a small beer garden mainly for the smokers. Quick service and the staff work hard.

Visited the ardwick many a time fosters John smiths cider all 1-80p I had a single vodka coke must of cost 6 pound as husband paid 8 pound odd for a pt and vodka ,very busy pub at times certain days they have karaoke’s on raffles very busy staff ,we made this a place to visit whilst in blackpool. Very nice staff .

The drinks have to be the best value in blackpool, which can make this a very busy bar, the bar staff are excellent efficient and friendly so very little waiting around. They have a good number of TVs showing most if not all the sport and football, there is ample seating and its clean. Definitely worth a visit.

Very friendly and vibrant pub , snacks available and friendly staff . We went on a Tuesday when there is bingo on during the day ended up staying all afternoon, really enjoyed the day

The Ardwick is a friendly pub with clean facilities and amazing staff. they put on a variety of events including a Bingo afternoon and Karaoke. There is a lovely outdoor enclosed patio area which even on a windy day is sheltered and warm. Besides the amazing value for money £1.60 pint for Fosters, Cider or Bitter its Lyne the Manager and her team who make the place, and humour with the banter. I've met some amazing folks there, who have become friends and who I will meert up with when they are next on holiday to Blackpool Thanks for welcoming me into the Ardwick family

What can I say apart dive bar put in subject access request as not getting accused of stealing or trying spike someone drinks let's see what kind of reply this gets .

This has got to be the best pub in Blackpool. Fabulous friendly staff good pint met some lovely people

every time we visit blackpool we use the ardwick great pub great staff and a good price on all drinks will be there the start of june and back in november 2022 thanks lyn no1 landlady

Visited the ardwick a few times throughout our stay in Blackpool. Couldn't believe the cheap prices. We'll worth a visit. We were treated very well and exchanged some funny comments with Kelvin the barman. Good trip had by all x

As I am local, I normally won’t write a review on pubs, clubs and restaurants as they normally will get a bad name due to it being in Blackpool. However after tonight experience I need to write a review with how me and my family been treated. Last orders arrived, me, my dad and younger brother got the last pint in, the doorman had started targeting us, and once it got to chucking out time , we started to finish the last of our pints (not much). The bouncer with the tattoo on the head started to state that we were laughing at him and he said that he was going to SMASH MY FACE IN. I have never been talked to like this. We were never trouble. My dad and brother tried to calm the bouncer down and said we were locals and never have been any bother. He said ‘he doesn’t give a S##t. Just get out’. Normally really like this pub but won’t be going back again.

Brilliant night. Fantastic beer for such a cheap price, friendly happy service and so much fun on the karaoke. Dave Cook is a fantastic Dj, great selection of songs and the karaoke is so much fun. Really made to feel welcome and would recommend this pub to anyone.

The first visit to this pub was what sold us to go back again. The service was fantastic even when all tables full. Set up very well for social distancing, unbelievable prices for drinks. Very welcoming doorman. Thank you to all concerned.

I like this pub. When I go to blackpool on visits. This is one of my faves. No upstairs toilets and clean with reasonable prices. My kinda place.go there if you can.

Loved it in here. The landlady was amazing and so fun. The bar prices were so good too. Had a good dance and sing :) The only thing is some of the locals were very cliquey and we caught people talking about us several times.

At £1.60 a pint it must be the best value for miles better than Ma Kellys plastic place down the street

After paying nearly £5 a pint wanted somewhere cheaper. Cant get any better than £1.60 a pint. Never paid that for a beer, even back in the good old 90s.

we bought drinks from the pub, my son who is autistic cannot hold a glass properly and has his own bottle that he is able to hold without dropping it. Even tho the drink was bought from the pub and poured into the bottle, the pub did not allow this and were made to put his drink back into the glass, of which he cannot hold without dropping. Hence my son did not have his drink and we left to another venue that accepted that my son is disabled and allowed his bottle. The barmaid was not a bit simpethatic when we explained this and told us we had to drink up and leave

You look at the front or the back doors of this pub and you think it's a little pub until walk in and surprises you. Then you walk to the bar and being in Blackpool you expect to be high priced for a pint and it was less than 2 quid, great pub must try it.

This is a great local pub and with Fosters only £1.60 a pint and all drinks are very good prices,we called in on our way to Ma Kelly's central as it is not far off,the beer is good and the staff and locals make you feel welcome.

£1.60 for a nice pint! What more can I recommend! Oh yeah plenty of tv screens offering sport and pool table and if that’s not enough friendly staff who make you feel welcome. Always our 1st port of call after 2hr drive to Blackpool

I visited this pub just earlier afternoon i found it friendly and good, value for money, its not posh but the beers good its clean and friendly

nice traditional central blackpool pub with fosters john smiths and strongbow all on offer at £1.60.Big screen towards back of bar for the football plus loads of smaller screens.given the prices the bar was very busy but service was quick plus its very close to ma kellys central if you want live entertainment

We always come in here when visiting Blackpool, which is a few times a year. The drinks are cheap and the service is fab :)

Cheap lager/cider but not the best pub in Blackpool. Got told to get my legs off the stool however it seems ok for you to be able to smoke weed and fall asleep in the corner!!

john smiths/ fosters larger/ strongbow cider all £1.60 and pint looks a bit of a rough place but had no problems been a few times so if your one of the people that like trouble in here you might find it the guys that work there though look like they can handle themselves and wont take crap from anyone so if you treat people the way you want to be treated you will be fine

Central location. Murphy's at £1.60 a pint. Loads of room. More tellies than Currys. Room to park bikes out the back. An ace pub

Been coming here from Wolverhampton for years and thought it was about time I reviewed it. A street back from the beach this place is brilliant, cheap beer with loads of televisions for all sports. Bar staff are friendly but have little time stop and chat because the place is always busy but do a really good job. A place I’d recommend to visit.

Loved this bar which is situated 1 Street in from the central pier promenade. Great pint, pool table, sports on TV & very welcoming staff..loved it!! £1.60 a pint🍺😍

the first time i been in this venue for almost 20years. it always had a bad reputation, but how surprised i was by its beautiful decor friendly staff plus big screens inc sky and bt sports plus pool tables and several dart boards. also pints of beer lager at £1.60 per pint all day every day and families welcome monday to fridays. a very clean and friendly pub i shall be making a point of visiting again very soon. i would say its well worth a visit

Went in with fairly low expectations tbh. BOOM!!!! Were we wrong , Great place , fab Karaoke . Brill mix of friendly down to earth folk , who all made us feel very welcome & we didn’t feel at all intimidated, Epic range of fairly priced drinks & even a selection of fab bar snacks ( the Corned beef n onion cobs were Great like )

went in last august(back this august)to watch sky sports very friendly staff and locals.bar maid was not allowed to change £50 note so friendly local volenteered to go to bookies with my 50 to get change.lol. love it.

Smashing little pub , off the beaten path hidden in the side streets met up with family for a swift two half’s in the same glass and was truly shocked how cheap it came to 4pint for just over £6 that’s cheap for any where defo going in again while up here

I really like this place at it's just off the promenade in Blackpool (just behind the now closed Uncle Pete Websters), has great friendly staff and is really cheap if you like Fosters, John Smiths or Strongbow (£1.60 a pint). It has a pool table, darts boards and plenty of televisions to keep everyone happy.

An interesting place to people watch, where you'll never get bored. Cheap drinks and cheap entertainment. A good place to meet up and take it from there.

Stayed over at a friends Hotel and ended up in this establishment. There was a great atmosphere and the beer was amazingly cheap, very fresh and sold well with fast turnover so no dreggs from the bottom of the barrel. Karaoke was on and a good time was had by all. Can't wait to go again.

well what can I say. If you want to be served at the bar the have big boob's and blonde hair. If not you will wait for 20 minuets. Then when you do get served you get the worst service I have had in a long time. It's just not worth it. Lots of other places in Blackpool.

Got recommended this place & would deffinatly would go there if you planning to visit Blackpool, It's cheap, clean & just a great place to start the night out.

This pub feels like our local, as we come to Blackpool a few times a year and this is the first place we go :) The last time was at Easter and we were here the all weekend. The prices are fantastic and the service is astounding to say how busy it gets! Roll on Summer when we will back :)

Have been to the Ardwick many times when I visit Blackpool. Great entertainment such as live bands and karoke which are free. Bar prices unbelievable like fosters, john smith and stronbow for £1.60.

On 9/02/18 I went in the Ardwick expecting a friendly atmosphere, but instead I got rude dirty look off the staff.. Took over 25 minutes to get served for a pint, the lady doing the DJ was not entertaining what so ever! I am sure there was some drug shananigans going on. I will certainly not be attending that 'pub' again!!!

Just one road back from central prom Blackpool theres a real normal run of the mill pub with a friendly welcome pool table darts etc only over 18 allowed to play, they do what is known as the big 3 larger bitter or cider for only £ 1.60 a pint a real bargain considering on the strip one street away they are charging £3.00 - £3.50 for the same product give it a go

Large open spaced pub with sports tv and pool table. Wish we had found this pub earlier than we did. Clean and well decorated with the small bar area roughly in the middle to one side. There was Strongbow, John Smith's and Fosters £1.60 a pint and unlike another pub advertising similar they DID have these in good supply. Nice atmosphere with plenty of places to sit and chat as a group or as a couple. Plenty of room for lads to stand together and watch sport on the various large flat screens. Toilets clean and maintained, no issues.

We found this pub by accident really - decided to leave the golden mile and try some of the pubs just one street back and came across the Ardwick - needed the loo so decided to pop in here for one - so glad we did!Good sized pub with snooker table, sky sports big screens and darts board.Seen they were selling the Big 3 for £1.55 a pint!!! The big 3 being John Smith's, Fosters and Strongbow. Couldn't believe it - I was paying a fiver for various berry ciders a btl on the main drag so my hubby suggested a pint of strongbow with a dash of blackcurrant - brilliant idea - it was only costing £3.40 a round instead of nearly a tenner on the golden mile - RESULT.Sometimes you had to wait a wee while at the bar as it was busy as they darts final was on at the time but that's fine you expect that. Really pleased we found this wee gem definitely will be back on our next trip to Blackpool.

From the outside it looks a bit intimidating But we came on a recommendation so Went in anyway Glad we did Ended up staying for Half a dozen drinks Nice clean place Friendly locals and helpful staff Great pint and really cheap too Will keep it on my radar for next time

Wow what a find this bar was £1.55 for either a pint of John smiths, fosters or strongbow all day every day the decor is beautiful inside with plenty of seating and sky sports on everywhere and the toilets are first class and very clean, if your in Blackpool this place is a must and only one street back from the seafront x

The Ardwick does not look very inviting from the outside with the smokers blocking the entrance!!! However, it is well furnished and clean on the inside which is more important. The beer is good and reasonably priced. I am a sports fan so I love the big screen sports channels.

As regular visitors to Blackpool we always make a b-line to the Ardwick. It's a nicely furnished clean pub with decent drinks at good prices. The locals are very friendly but I think the landlady has had her chuckle gland removed. Didn't see much of her though so it doesn't matter. We'll be back
