The Ardentinny Bar & Bistro Restaurant in Argyll & Bute

Another amazing meal at the Ardentinny. Food is top notch, menu changes frequently, owners are delightful, helpful and know how to cook. Love visiting when up nearby on holiday. Never disappoints. Great location. Dog friendly. Tonight had a tasty duck dish, oxtail and beef curry and baked cod with yummy veg. Keep up the good work, you deserve to do well.

This is my local pub and restaurant. I can’t praise Seb and Allegra enough on the service and the quality of food. All pasta is made by hand, fresh on the day. The Cod, langoustines and green vegetables were superb, unfortunately I didn’t take a picture! Seb’s steaks are second to none. They are friendly and welcoming which enhances the atmosphere. We’re very blessed having them both running our local pub.

I've just eaten the best pork loin I've ever eaten in my life. Moist, tender, slightly pink with cabbage and blue cheese apple sauce. Fab

Amazing food and wine. Real attention to details and super friendly staff. This is our favourite restaurant on the Cowal Peninsula now. We’ve been three times in last few months. Can’t recommend it enough! Beautiful venue as well!

Another great dining experience. I really like the vibe in the restaurant. Food was very good, service excellent. We had olives(wish they were de-stoned) Cauliflower as starters. Fish and chips and mushroom pasta both very good Really enjoyed our meal and will be back

Called in for lunch. Food was absolutely superb, I had trout with clams and pureed beetroot , husband had venison.. both delicious and they came with different veg, which often these days is not the case Followed by a sublime Chocolate nemesis cake.. Price was very reasonable.. lovely friendly young staff .. Highly recommended..

Excellent all around, friendly, helpful staff. The menu has the usual bar favourites and some bistro/restaurant options. We had the halibut and duck breast, which were clearly freshly cooked to perfection. Prices were reasonable, too. There is a great outside terrace if the rain stops. The dog was welcome in the bar too.

We were camping on ardentinny beach. We took the short walk along to the Ardentinny for dinner which we had previously booked . The setting is stunning and the atmosphere is very welcoming and happy. My husband had the duck and I had the fish and chips melt in your mouth. Absolutely delicious! Best food by far we have tasted. Please pay a visit you won’t be disappointed.
