Incredible experience. Every meal was extremely rich, like a tasting menu but with full portions. Incredible. Stay at the hotel too for the full experience

Walking past on a Wednesday afternoon in October we spied a board that said they were offering a lunch menu again. We had to try. The lunch menu is short and good. There are daily specials, so in all, around five choices for a main. We both opted for fish (haddock), chips and smashed peas. The Chef was passing and commented that we'd mad3 a great choice as this was the best fish and chips in Ramsgate. He wasn’t wrong, mind you, elsewhere one doesn’t pay £15 a portion. Having said that, the beer battered haddock was perfectly cooked, really crispy batter, delicate fish. Lovely. The peas, smashed and with a lot of mint, really good. The tartare sauce deserves more attention, it looked and tasted shop bought and I am sure the chef can improve on that. And then the chips. Triple cooked, large, placed Jenga like on the plate. I have had Heston's and Ramsay's and these were up there with them-divine. Half a lemon in muslin finished it. So the lunch was superb and yes, probably worth the £15. A lovely gin and tonic and a soda water pushed the cost to £38, yes, it was worth it. The staff were friendly, helpful and lovely.

Good food served by very good staff. Well worth a visit, you would not be disappointed. I had a really tasty burger, which I would recommend to anybody who likes a burger

Great day at the Albion Rooms. Friendly and helpful staff, great vibe, cool decor, a seriously good burger the best fried chicken this side of KFC. I haven’t stayed there, but the rest of the hotel looks pretty damn fine. Loved it.
