Maravilloso nuevo hallazgo, excelente comida vegana y vegetariana. Tuve papas Dauphinois con enormes champiñones frescos, mi compañero tenía remolacha Wellington, ambos excelentes. Maravillosa cerveza oscura, servicio muy amable y ambiente acogedor, lo que no te gusta. Muy recomendable.

Had my birthday party in the room upstairs. Great room, lovely food. The staff looked after us so well, and all seem like great people. We felt very well looked after. I'd really recommend this place to anyone. I'll be going back for a pint soon, as it seems like a top pub

Friendly staff & reasonably priced drinks

I work next to The Apple Tree and recently we been going to get something to eat after work as we got told the food is really good. I'm rating so low for the awful service. Staff is always outside smoking so there is no one to order a drink from, no one clear the tables which makes it very uncomfortable when eating as it's full of glasses, dirty napkins and pizza boards. The cherry on the cake is a French woman always shouting at me and my friends. We are not coming back, probably if you will do delivery service we can request our food to our homes, let us know if you start working with Deliveroo. J

A really nice modern queer pub. Expect some sort of meetup to be happening, either downstairs or upstairs. The food is very good, much better than you'd expect in a pub, but with prices to match the quality. Vegan first, but with non-vegan options too.

Found this lovely pub by accident but what a find!!! Fabulous food, cooked fresh to order. Shared several dishes with friend. Great vegetarian and vegan options. Would visit again.

I really like it when new places start to do vegan food, unfortunately I was excited to eat at this place and their new Vegan dishes, all I tasted was oily and bland food which looks pretty but tastes of nothing in reality, which is extremely sad because they give vegan food a bad name, I am a vegan enthusiast and have eaten vegan food at many places but this was one of the biggest disappointments. extremely disappointed and very expensive for what it is. I would say definitely avoid and much better places in London for Vegan food. Sad

Amazing bar for LGBTQ community and I felt really comfortable with my friends, but how we hated the food it was very nice to look at but tasted of fried oil and not much else. The dessert were nice because of the sugar inside but the small plates were too expensive and would never eat here again.

What cannot be said enough about the apple tree is just how much of a wonderfully inclusive and open and safe space it feels ; add to this the food, the entertainment, the staff . I feel that for those who want a space to be free; the apple tree does a great job

During our first trip to the UK this last March, my wife and I were exceptionally busy taking in as much scenery and culture as we could possibly manage. As such, it was decidedly difficult to keep a strict inventory of every meal we ate at every pub we visited, though I can say that we did not visit a single one that was anything short of impressive.

Tuve los champiñones Porcini asados con papas dauphinoise y las papas estaban crujientes y los champiñones estaban tiernos y en una gran salsa. El postre de piña y pistacho también era delicioso, todo muy natural y saludable y un valor bastante decente. Realmente puedes decir que pusieron mucho esfuerzo y cuidado, definitivamente recomendaría ????????

The food is amazing for vegetarians... Not many options for normal people.

Exceptional food and service. We had swordfish and quinoa croquettes (two separate dishes). They serve vegan tapas and the chef should be at a top West End restaurant the food is that good. The bar staff are super-friendly too. If I could give more stars I would.

Brilliant pub, good beer, really friendly staff and great gig. I hope they have food on again soon. Despite living in the area for years, I never knew the Apple Tree existed. I'll definitely be back.

I've never seen in my life a place filled with so many smiling, dancing and inteligent people. Such a nice place and croud. And the toilet... wow, that's art, I never imagined that a toilet can have so much beauty. And they wipe it blank every day. Awesome, isn't it? Art for a day.

Rather bland atmosphere and both beers I tried had a nasty aftertaste

First of all the servers are really kind. Second, they have three types of vegan sunday roast!! They come with a delicious wide variety of vegetables. The 'Wellington' is very nice, spreaking from personal experience. The prices are reasonable and they will let you play board games if you bring them.

LGBT afflilated and they've just had they're 1st year anniversary celebrating the fact..I went along to the first year celebrations and i thought o was back at Duckies in the 90s..great atmosphere and bean bags games face painting and karaoke upstairs..well done to the owners for making this a friendly local.

Went there for a private event - they had nice beer on tap. Great location near Farringdon tube station. Lovely staff members and a friendly crowd.

I wish I liked this pub more. But such a poor drink selection, esp draught beer. We ordered chips, but they weren't great. Nice bar staff though! The show that was on was terrible, so we left. The toilets are cool.

Neat family-friendly pub with decorative interior, and even games for kids. Women's toilets have chalk board markers for wall doodles (hehe)

Just found a new home. Seriously, great place, great people, and as they say themselves, a hub for the community. Just had a quick couple of pints (well kept Guinness, went for safe but they had quite a decent beer range overall for a non-specialist place), but will revisit for the awesome cocktail menu. And they have Diplomatico rum....What could go wrong?

Cosy, welcoming pub with friendly service. Food is mainly made up of Vegan small plates, the tofu fish and chips and the sliders were very good. Small beer selection with Curious IPA and Guinness available, plus a cider. Looks like it has lots of live events on as well.

We are so lucky to have an LGBTIQ+ space like this in London. Much more than a pub, The Apple Tree went out of their way to help us celebrate the 2nd Birthday of our shelter. Staff instantly became part of our crew & we felt right at home all day. A real community space. Practically - we needed a private, sober party.. not easy to do in a busy pub! They made it work, with a beautiful cosy room upstairs & a non-alcoholic drinks reception. The food we ordered was delicious & the perfect amount was suggested for our guestlist. Tech was easy & staff were on hand to help with that also. Beautiful rooms upstairs, big & small to choose from. Thankyou so much to everyone who helped us. Special thanks to Dot who is just completely lovely & made everything a total breeze. Will definitely be back ASAP.

Such a beautiful little gem of a pub with delicious vegan food. I went here just to meet some friends, but turns out there was a drag show being performed that night which made my visit truly memorable. I'll definitely be back again very soon!

The Apple Tree provides London with resources that are scarce - LGBT friendly, performance spaces, dog-friendly, and a wide selection of cheap and good quality drinks (spirits, wines, softs). Given its central location it is well worth supporting. My only caveat is the kitchen service. While I prefer to eat plants over animals, the cooking quality of most of the items I've tried - and the serving times - could be improved. It seems like an attainable goal, so hopefully they will get there. For the record I tried the following: Mushroom croquettes: DELICIOUS Patatas Bravas: did exactly what it said on the box Aubergine Parmigiana - disappointing, it needs a much richer tomato sauce. I can make better at home Cobnut curry - lukewarm and bland Rainbow Sliders - average for the price. Not sure if I'd prefer one bigger burger for cheaper. I will 10/10 return here for drinks, shows, and snacks. For a full dinner I might try somewhere else for now.

This local used to serve really good vegan burgers, mac and cheese and potato fries, the food alone justified a visit. The Apple Tree has stayed mostly vegan & veggie, which is nice, but disappointingly they're now cooking meat like any chain pub, which suggests they've sold out any ethics on environmental & animal care (saying it's well sourced meat isn't vegan or ethical.) Though there are a couple of OK dishes the new menu is a bit all over the place, too fussy and pretentious for pub grub, the old burger / pasta / potato menu was so much more tasty. Bring it back!

Nice place with a family environment. We went with a kid and he found games there to play with. It had alive music. Prosecco glass was about 7 pounds.

Wonderfully accommodating for a friend's private event. Very friendly and helpful staff. Food and drink is typical London prices (so not cheap) but good fare and great selection of cocktails.

This is a brilliant LGBTQ+ friendly venue. The staff are super friendly, the decor is great and colourful. They have gender neutral toilets. You can also get a low alochol cocktail which is a plus for me. It would be nice if they had a wider range of non-alcoholic drinks.

Cant say enough good words about this place, the menu is very different in a good way, staff are super friendly and the ambience couldn't be more perfect for the queers of society. And its a venue where you dont get your ears blasted with terrible commercial music for once!

What a great bunch of people. Genuine, open, characters. They messed up my food order but they fixed it and they gave me a free drink for my trouble and they made me smile while they did it. They were bubbly and welcoming, the music on the night was a trip down 80s memory lane, the small plates were good and entirely veg/vegan apart from one I think.
