Appreciated the warm welcome and quick service, but the Heinz ketchup bottles definitely did not contain Heinz ketchup. Nitpicky, I know. Would still return for a quick bite as the fish was fresh, hot and very tasty.

Very central, delicious food and not pricey at all! This is a proper fish & chips bar and we could see the fish is battered the moment you place the order and it's served immediately after being cooked! Chips are also very good. Overall a great experience; the place is a bit small but there's an additional room in the basement, so more space than what you can see from the outside.

We got sick after eating here. You ask for fish and chips and they don't even mention the fish they cook..no 🧂 . Ketchup was not henz. They refill it with a cheaper one with poor quality. Not recommended

I stopped by there to eat something affordable for dinner while waiting for my theatre play. Actually I checked all the comments of nearby fish & chips restaurants and decided to eat there. However, I think it’s pretty overrated in my opinion or my taste of fish does not overlap with the common sense here in London 🤷‍♀️ The food was too fatty to my taste and the fries felt waited for too long before getting fried but it was nice that you can get as much as sauce (ketchup, mayo, fish/tartare sauce) you want for free! However, the quality of the sauces they use is not good to be honest. All in all, it’s a place I wouldn’t go twice 👎 but can be an affordable alternative for students or tourists in this area of London to save the moment for one meal.

We went on recommendation, without knowing that the owner was Turkish. Mr. Ali was very interested. The fish was nice. Frying did not bother. The potatoes were hand cut, not pre-made, and were delicious. Prices are normal and even affordable compared to the surrounding area.

Tried out this fish and chips place, and it was pretty good! The portion sizes were generous, and the meal felt satisfying for the price of £13.50. The fish was fresh, and the chips were crispy, making it a solid choice for a classic British dish. I did miss the mushy peas — not sure if they sell it as a side, but it would have been a nice addition.

Average at best I was walking around Covent garden and was feeling hungry so decided to give it a try no menus on the tables ordered a haddock and chips if I remember correctly it was about £13.50 plus £3.50 for curry sauce and £2.80 for a can of coke the bill came to £19.80 when the food arrived at the table the fish was tiny nice chips and the curry sauce was lovely this fish was more batter and skin hardly any flakes of fish the haddock I've had before you get them big chunks of white fish with a lot of flavour I could hardly identify any flavour with this haddock bland and tasteless £2.80 for a can of coke in my opinion is an absolute rip off.

We came across this place that only serves fish & chips and other accompaniments. Small but crowded, both locals and tourists at the table. You sit down, eat and go away, great for a quick bite. You're really spoiled for choice as to which fish to eat, but the best and most classic is certainly the "cod". Really delicious, I recommend stopping by to try it

I do not recommend this site at all. We ordered 2 classic fish and chips and two cans of beer and they charged us £42. It was supposed to be a cheap place to get fish and chips. For that price it is not worth it at all.

This is a small, crowded bar with takeaway service. We stopped by there, after seeing the visit of the famous tiktoker Patica, so with a little bread... Focused on the traditional English Fish & Chips recipe, through a large front blackboard it presents the different options that can be chosen to design your dish. Orders are prepared on the fly, generous and delicious. The owner was very nice, quickly looking for where we could sit. Economical prices.

Selve fisken var veltilberedt og smagte godt. Tartar sovsen var også god, selvom det virkede lidt skummelt at den og de andre dyppelser havde stået på bordet i en halvklam tube hele dagen. Utroligt ringe chips; næsten uspiselige. Undertilberedte, melede og med en underlig eftersmag. Atmosfæren er heller ikke til at huje over; indendørs er trangt og ucharmerende med lysstofrør der kun giver blåt lys. Valgte næsten et andet sted blot pga dette. Endte med at sidde udendørs, hvor det også er trangt pga. det meget trafikerede fortov; meget larm fra forbigående også. Var dog også en lørdag aften.

After reading the reviews we decided to come to this place and we were not disappointed at all. I wanted to try the Haddock fish and chips since this type of fish is more difficult to find in Spain. The staff was very friendly, the waitress took great care of us. The food was good and the portion is generous.

A group of 11 Spaniards went to dinner, and they accommodated us on the terrace without problems. The fish and chips are great, the place is very clean, and the workers are very friendly. A highly recommended place close to Covent Garden.

A very nice little store that serves good fish and chips. Recommend to sit outside to enjoy your food while immersing in the bustling atmosphere of London. Cod fish is good. If the batter is more fluffy and thicker that would be even more awesome. Portion is good too. Tartar sauce goes well with the fish. There is no 12.5% surcharge on top of your bill, which is great!

A dreadful meal where the haddock was not fresh and probably frozen and when I mentioned, the man who I spoke (who I presume was the owner) just dismissed me and brought out an invoice to show the fish was fresh today !!!! He then just added there was nothing he could do about it - absolutely zilch customer service but I suppose he’s not interested in customers as I’m sure most of the customers are passing trade. I will say the chips were very good and homemade.

Good place to eat Fish & Chips. The traditional cod is very delicious, very large pieces of cod, very fresh, and well fried. But we ordered the squid and they came with a small amount of squid and with a super excessive batter (twice my finger's size). The mixed salad does not come with lettuce, which is strange to us, it is made of tomato, cucumber, pepper... We didn't try the sauces, they were huge jars that were on the table, unrefrigerated...we didn't want to suffer possible poisoning... You have to order at the counter, and then they serve it to you at the table. The waiters are friendly, but they did not bring us the order ticket when paying the bill at the table. It is a place with long hours. Don't expect a great restaurant, it's more of a neighborhood bar, but every time we pass through the door they have customers, whether they are tourists or locals, which guarantees you good raw materials and at a good price. Totally recommended.

We were sightseeing in the London and just around lunchtime we found this street food restaurant. It was no Gordon Ramsey restaurant, but thanks to that it kept it's street vibe. We enjoyed some great fish and chips and could see and hear them making. Overall great and delicious experience.

We went to this place for my son's birthday on August 20th. We ate an excellent typical Fish and Chips for the right amount. The owner was very nice because he even got us a small cake to celebrate our birthday. We felt like family! First time eating Fish and Chips in London and it was really fantastic! We really loved it! After visiting this "reastaurant", I feel only disappointment and anger. The staff didn't even offer us more fish (even though they have at least two types) they automatically oredered cod for us. We said ok, they probably know what's better (hahaha). I thought that this is "fast food" restaurant (at least it looks like a cheap fast food), after all, it only takes a moment to fry a fish. But we were waiting for at least 15 minutes for them to even start working on our order. The staff wasn't very nice either, the younger man looked so annoyed all the time, when we asked how long it will take, because we needed to be somewhere else in 30 minutes. Then two customers got their order before us, even though they arrived long after us. Some muslim women was obviously friend of the staff, so they served her as a priority, which is highly unprofessional. When they finally brought our food, we found out that it was definitely not worth the wait. The fish was tasteless, fries as well. They had some sauce on the table, but who knows how long it's been there. We were forced to take the food with us, because we didn't have enough time to eat it, thanks to their attitude, but we threw it away later anyway. It wasn't eatable. Overall it's highly overpriced and probably just tourist trap. I DON'T RECOMMEND THIS PLACE!

I've tried several fish & chips restaurants and this one was one of the best with a great ratio between the price and what you get on the plate. I had a great salad with it. There are several types of fish to choose from. I had cod fish with a portion of salad and it was rich enough for two people. The white Pinot Grigio wine perfectly complemented the fish. The place is located near the Russian krizovat and sitting is only possible outside on the street, it is good to be aware of that.

Good fish & chips, not really great but about standard for a centre. I can't say that I felt like I was in a traditional place here, but we had a good time. Except for the traditionally weaker fries. The prices, on the other hand, are completely cool and the service was also nice.
