Tasted absolutely rotten! Chips are frozen which is disappointing from a chippy van and the burger came out of a plastic bag that had water in it. Burger tastes as though it had been boiled and wasn’t cooked in the middle.

Horrible food. Overpriced which is fine if its good and you don't mind when from a van but the chips are cheap and frozen, certainly not what you would expect from a chippy van and the burger, horrible. Tastes and texture like it was cooked in boiling water. Wont be using again. Most of the menu was sold out with hours left in the service too.

I had the best haddock and chips tonight when they were in Brora! Absolutely loved it! Fresh fish and yummy chips! Good performance, lads!

We found this by chance along the banks of the River Ness. We found the staff to be fun and entertaining to talk to. We had the loaded fries with chicken skin and gravy. The food was very tasty. We love the brand. The location on the bank of the River Ness next to the cathedral was peaceful with several places to sit while you eat and watch the world go by. We even bought one of their hoodies for one of our children.

Chips aren’t homemade, clearly out of a freezer which was really disappointing. Ordered them with cheese, never came with any but realised too late. Overall a bit sad really.

This is waht you call the perfect chippy. The tacos were brilliant and the portion sizes were huge. The chips portion was massive and it was fried to perfection. I couldn't recommend this enough. Best chips I have had in a while.

I have eaten here twice and on both occasions was more than happy. The quality is excellent and the portions sizes and presentation was good. I had a Venison burger on my first visit and fish and chips on the second. The prices are slightly higher than the competitor but as the saying goes "you get what you pay for"!. Stuart the Manager is friendly and help with local information as was a local chap called Big Mike who gave us tips on NC500.. I will be back again.

This McDonald's is pretty standard, although it can be fairly hectic and busy, and I found the space in the restaurant itself fairly cramped. They had gotten one of my items in my order wrong - it clearly said "PLAIN" on the Double Quarter Pounder label, but they had gave me a burger with all the standard toppings on it. I would have have returned it, but it was just too busy and hectic, and just took the burger anyway, which wasn't bad, even with toppings I never requested. Otherwise, can't fault the food itself; the fries were warm and not soggy, which is a plus. Toilets were really clean. One of the better McDonald's around, even if it's not in an ideal central location for all like the High Street one is.

Ate flame grilled vegan burger meal. Burger was tasty. Tasted just like meat. Enjoyed everybite.

The food is pretty disgusting for those of us who aren't McDonald's fans, but when there's nothing else to choose from, it's edible and acceptable. You have to eat fries quickly or they'll turn into plastic sticks. They give you free sauces, but you have to pay £0.50 for mayonnaise. The restaurant isn't very dirty, which is surprising. The ice cream has no taste at all.

Honestly the food was ok, we had two kebabs and two grilled chicken burgers and all enjoyed them well enough. Definitely not the best food we've had but by far not the worst either, don't think it deserves the 1 star reviews.
