McDonald's in Highland

Food was ok ,would have been better if they had put the onions on my burger, only found out there wasn't any when I got home with my drive through take away

As always burger was nice fries abit limp but still ok

McDonald's was just McDonald's and a Big Mac was just a Big Mac.

Attitude of person taking order was awful - didn't seem to want to be there. Breakfast wrap was ripped in the middle so fell apart when trying to eat it and lid wasn't on one of the drinks so spilled everywhere. Obviously a Sunday morning not a great time to go!

Good McDonalds in the beautiful town of Fort William. Nice to stop off at on a road trip or visit around the place. Has tablets inside and you can order from the screens inside or from the app or at the counter.

Please check your initiator and finisher on Line. I am a McD employee My friends ordered Veggie wrap and found selects in it which is complete wrong thing. This tends to reduce the impression of a loving brand. The shift Manager and Managers please take a note of these. It’s not a good thing if the order is veg. How much ever the restaurant is busy the tongs and tray should be correctly selected that’s what I been thought. Something is going wrong do check the camera and train that person. 12th April around 12:15pm

Macdonald's was completely packed the day we went, a Saturday evening at 6 p.m. We were coming back from Ben Nevis to eat and we weren't even able to sit down, it's a shame. Otherwise it's a McDonald's like any other for the rest of the time I imagine, and it's quite well located

Straight out of my train from London, I jumped into the MacDonalds at Fort William for some breakfast. The food was, of course, no surprise and fine, the cappucino well-made. But the staff serving that thursday morning (04/04) was very friendly, and the atmosphere was relaxed and nice.

Busy, busy, busy. Had to have a takeaway and eat in the car as there was no room inside and the queue for pick up was out of the car park.

A McDonald's like any other - neither incredible nor bad, it does the job perfectly 🍔

Great for grabbing your reload of cheesburger and iron bru on the way to Loch Ness. Not a lot of mcds around this part of the world.

Usual issues, as with all McDonald's, warmish food delivery. If you must have self order points - enough and working would help. Manual order point appeared unmanned. A glimmer of a smile would also not go amiss. This was not my worst experience of a McDonalds but its still not a good experience. Only ever use for convenience while travelling, not a destination of choice.

The hot chocolate was of the standard expectancy of McDonald's - a decent consistency and chocolateiness, although this one was partly lacking in temperature and had a peculiar saltiness? 3/10

Probably the best McD location. Amazing backdrop of mountain ranges besides Fort William. Right next to town center and train station. Has a convenient driveway pickup in case you are continuing to the Highlands.

When travelling with kids, it's cost effective to be able to purchase food you know they will eat, and time efficient to order from a familiar menu and eat on-the-go.

I ordered a big mac and they wouldn't let me order it unless I ordered it with French Fries and a drink which I have no idea why.If you go to McDonald's order off the screen don't go to the Counter because the workers have no idea what they are doing.

Went to get some quick food and found that the large serving of chips was the same size as the medium, also witnessed 2 staff who were building the burgers had NO GLOVES ON and touching all the food with their bare hands and when I brought it to the attention of management they didn't care. So If you like your food touched with bare hands and cross-contamination go ahead and eat here. Will never eat from this place again

Perfect place to meet old friends

Doesn't have all the deliveroo and just eat guys getting priority over people in the queue. They seem to run a tight ship and it's very clean. Just as a macdonalds should be.

I ordered a takeaway and although the shop was very busy with tourists, the food was served pretty quickly. However, I visited the gents and it turned my stomach. It was grossly filthy. The WC was blocked and clearly nobody had checked the toilet for ages. I couldn't get out of the place fast enough.

The lady clearing the trays was so helpful, especially as Fort William was going through a storm. She talked to everyone and helped everyone. Really going the extra mile.

I don't like eating at any of the fast food outlets but stopped mid journey as my traveling companions wanted a buger. I ordered just a short black Americano from the drive through order point. This was request was confirmed by team members at the pay point and the collection window, well done. 👍. Coffee was good, the burgers smelt (to me) of stale oil. 4* for the coffee and service only.

Staff are friendly and restaurant has a nice atmosphere with fantastic views of Loch Linnhie and Ben Nevis from terrace . Given chaos in summer in Fort William it allowed me to rest at Mc Donald's& wife to quickly visit town.

Clean tidy and well laid out sitting area.

The service was much faster and the food was comparable to any other McDonald's. It is spacious and offers a nice view of mountain/hilly slope. Car parks have limited availability in the peak hours. Washrooms are available.

Burgers are tastless chips are cold. Milkshake machine always broken

Too technical for a pensioner but staff very helpful and pleasant. Won't be a stranger.

The drive thru set up was unusual to say the least with the queue seemingly in the lane marked exit and cars going to the parking area coming and going on the same lane marked way in! Surprised not to see any collisions. It was the longest wait for service I had ever experienced at any MacDonalds. Had I not been stuck in the queue I would have gone elsewhere. This organisation should be better prepared for lunchtime rushes. They happen everyday.

Average McDonald's, good for cheap breakfast (the mighty Egg McMuffin is the one to purchase). Free on site parking is available but car park is small however easy to find.

Freundlicher Service. Essen wie v. Mcdonalds zu erwarten. Schnelle Zubereitung trotz voller Hütte. Ambiente und Sauberkeit könnte besser sein.

It's Maccy D's. Exactly what you expect. Lots of parking spaces and great views outside.

Big mac burger was cold from the bottom! - Toilets are the worst! - I dont know if they have any food inspection standards in place. Could anybody please show these reviews to the food inspection agency locally kindly?!

It gets 5 stars for being a McDonalds, if this was a stand-a-lone thing probably 4, but this is exactly what you would expect from a McDonald's. Service is a good speed and workers are nice, food is alright, wish there were more order machines though.

Quarter pounder was literally dripping with fat, I've never had anything like it! Floor manager just walked away when we tried to talk to her about it. Thankfully another manager changed the burger to something more edible.

I don't like McDonalds and it had been a while since I had visited one. The staff were brilliant and kindly took my order. Food was better than expected, though not great.

De très loin, le pire McDo dans lequel je suis allée. Établissement est minuscule, les gens et les serveurs bousculent, les toilettes sont trop peu nombreuses et les gens s'impatientent. Obligés de manger dans la voiture.

Venue is too small for number of customers and staff are tripping over themselves trying to stay ahead of the queue.

Good service but check your food we had stuff missing

Halv-slatten salat og flade sodavand. Alt for mange kunder til stedets størrelse; folk står oveni hinanden og nogle gange går køen helt udenfor. Tilkørselsforhold er helt hallo: drive-through-køen blokerer udkørselsbanen fra P-pladsen, så til- og fra-trafikken må kæmpe om den anden bane. Maden er McDonald's standard i den lave ende. Personalet kæmper dog en brav - men ofte håbløs - kamp, og er stadig venlige og servicemindede.

I don't know is it only in Scotland, but in this exact MC You can't costume your sandwiches properly, what I mean you can only add 3 ingredients. :/ Can't even add mustard! :/

I had given it a bad review in the past, but they have improved food was served hot and was good, they gave us the wrong drinks but we were in a rush to leave and didn't have time to wait .

Was very busy at 8.30 in the evening due to a road closure in Glencoe, lots of hungry people arriving at the same time. Carpark was a disaster area.

too many young people who were terribly noisy and had no regard for other guests. I know it's not a lack of McDonald's, but it spoiled the overall impression of the visit

No receipts available from self service. Was given the wrong food to begin with. Returned back to be then given a sausage McMuffin which was that greasy that it was dripping out of the wrapper onto the floor and the McMuffin disintegrated due to the soggy greasy contents. Went back a second time and was eventually given an acceptable meal. Really poor McDonalds.

I can honestly say ,and the wife and I both agreed, this was the best McDonalds we have ever been to! The food was spot on, hot, and there was no short measure on the chips, which most others do! The staff were spot on. The place was clean, even though it was over half full. Why can't the ones back in scouse land be the same! .
