Lovely people in a lovely mcdonalds All are very polite and plesant had a small issue with my order and they went above and beyond to make it right and the food is tasty too 😊

Only time I have a McD's is when I'm passing Fort William. I have to say this is the best experience yet. Lovely woman and possibly her daughter working there (from Hungary) place was spotlessly clean, warm and friendly and not putting up with any nonsense from perhaps local teenagers..lovely young guy working there too.. thank you

Small place but nice, it has a parking lot and you can also take a mc drive if you want

McDonald's was just McDonald's and a Big Mac was just a Big Mac. And today was a spicy chicken something - it was certainly spicy. I find the flat white coffee particularly good, surprisingly.

Central location! If you’re hungry just quickly grab a bite with their tasty meal. Highly recommended

I ordered two small chips they didn’t come so I had to go in and get them while me food went cold and when I got them there was a medium and a small it’s a joke

The service is a disgrace asked 2 bacon rolls a coffee and a bannana milkshake so I said politely another bacon roll please but I was told to go f**kmyself I thought this was disgusting and once I opened my bacon roll I got one slice of bacon and some wobbly disgusting thing that should never have been there if your looking to have a nice morning ruined I highly suggest heading to macdonalds it’s brilliant place for it

Compared to French McDonald's, we were pleasantly surprised by the care and welcome of the employees, and the quality of the burgers and fries.

Arrived at 10:30ish and ordered a happy meal a big tasty meal and a wrap of the day. The wrap only had chicken and sauce no lettuce or anything else in the wrap Big tasty only had cheese on it no lettuce or sauce or anything else and the happy meal was good but I could over hear the workers laughing and joking about and saying if u want ur nuggets to come get them urself one of the managers was getting visibly annoyed at how long it was taking and other staff were just being difficult and talking back etc But the happy meal was bangin

Took a break there on the way to Glasgow. Was bit busy at the time. Food was nice and fresh. Food was good as always.

Staff here can't seem to tell their arse from their elbows. Waited 20 mins after it's said it was ready to collect on screen. Even then they messed up our order. Took back and it took them multiple times to rectify.

Best McD that I have been too. It was Christmas Eve,still the service was so fast. The place was so clean. The staff were kind and friendly. I was amazed by their quick service.

Easy to order on app and click and collect is great. Not as stressful as having to remember everything when going through drive thru. Also easy to customise order

We had a great customer experience here with a drive thru employee called Chris (I think!) he was polite, courteous and helpful and made the experience brilliant despite a little wait for food. Hooray for good service!

Ah forgot there was one in the ol Fort of William. Ah needed a coffee for the lastvleg eh the journey and they have it in abundance. It cheap, well cheap, and it's good. So, ah was happy and Ronald was grateful for the few quid that it cost. Happy days

Stopped here on the way back from a holiday in the highlands. The service was fast, efficient and precise. The young lady at the counter patiently asked me how many sugars and milks I wanted. I felt bad for the manager who had to deal with the rude, swearing customer in front of me, but she asserted herself well and put him in his place. There is no excuse for verbal abuse.

Food was spot on, always the same at McDonald's, the issue was the staff organization was terrible and the male toilets are the worst iv ever seen in a McDonald's.

The fries were rancid on my last visit in june! 🤢

A very busy McDonalds which is really good but would be perfect if the restaurant was slightly larger to prevent everyone chasing a seat.

3.3⭐. We are international travelers. This is the second McDonald's we have eaten in the UK. According to the standard evaluation of McDonald's in the world, it is average, not particularly outstanding or particularly bad. There are toilets and many seats inside, so there are a lot of people. The meal is also served very quickly. The Chicken McNuggets I ordered here come with BBQ sauce packets. This kind of sauce packets are not available in Taiwan. I think it is a bit salty and a bit strange. Maybe it is because I am not used to eating chicken nuggets with barbecue sauce, haha. Whenever I see different food, I always want to try it. There are three items here 💰 £3 set menu, which is somewhat similar to the 1+1 set meal in Taiwan. 🚗There is also a drive-thru here. ❗Note, one of the paper ordering machines seems to be broken, so you need to remember your number yourself. 20240807

Ordered a large fries but looked like a small, hardly cooked. Rude management, when I went to swap a Coke zero that I was given instead of a coca cola classic that I paid extra for the manager argued with me that it was a normal Coke as the lid was not pressed in! Had to argue my point as it certainly wasn't coca cola and she was refusing to swap it instead of apologising! Will NOT be coming back! Absolutely shocking!

I suppose it was exactly as you'd expect a McDonald's to be. I haven't been in one for a long time so I was shocked at how small my bacon and egg McMuffin was. It was ok though, and an ok coffee and very welcome so early in the morning

We arrived late night for a quick meal as everything else was already closed. We ordered 6 meals and once we were ready to sit, we were told to take the standing tables as they needed to clean the whole dinning area. It was 21h only. We insisted we wanted to sit down and after some time were allowed to do so. Soon after the whole McDonald's was full full and all the tables had to be used. Waste of time arguing for nothing with customers...

Brilliant mcdonalds always warm food and friendly staff

How do you screw up fries?! Just the tip of the iceberg but for the first time in my life they managed to dump about half a tonne of salt on my fries and they were very unpleasant. The place was very dirty with tables and the bathrooms not very clean. Worst was the staff. Arrived on Sunday night and there were some older staff who were working hard but there was also a group of younger staff who were messing around behind the counter and whilst I was waiting for my coffee I saw one pick up and eat some of the chips and say 'im getting two more bags' which I think speaks volumes to the lack of discipline and explains the noticeably poor quality of the food. Parking was also a challenge for our van which, being fort William, you think they would thought to cater for. Overall very poor.

A very crowded classic McDonald's

A sure sign it was good it was busy.. but maybe because it was full.of tourist who only recognised the sign??

This is the most hectic Macdonald's I've ever been in in my life. There were far too many people in here for the size of the establishment. The drive-thru goes through the actual car park which makes manoeuvring in and out of spaces really difficult and pedestrians take their life into their hands. I'm amazed it got through planning!! Ordering was a nightmare the queue was out of the door. We ended up ordering on the app.

Cold fries and in insufficient quantity.

Small restaurant and quite busy when we visited. Parking is free but small as well. Service was fast considering the crowd.

Food good, efficient staff, road entrance is an accident waiting to happen.

Had a quick lunch as it was conveniently next to the hotel. It was super buzy the time we went and hard to find a place to sit. It was very dirty and staff struggled with everything and seemed overwhelmed so i can understand why some were rather rude. Surprisingly, the food was ok. The next morning we had breakfast there since we were in a hurry and the picture was totally different: it was quiet, clean and the staff was very kind and helpful.

A bit crowded, but it is not the Place's fault

I am glad that McDonald's has staff like Sarita and Mushkaan. Sarita showed me such empathy which is rare to see nowadays. Because of these two ladies I will choose McDonald over fancy restaurant any given time. Keep up the great service and smile, it's rear even in hospitality business.

A McDonalds like thousands of others.

Service is great and fast but the smell of the bathrooms is unbearable. Also, they are really small.

Too greedy, when you order souces like mayo they dont put them in bag and dont refund. Also overcrowded.

Dirty bathrooms and a very limited breakfast menu

McDonald's seemed to be very busy, but there were many employees and the service was quick. There were seats outside, and although it was crowded, we were able to sit down.

I always have salad and I have to say it was good, the balsamic vinegar dressing was also very good, it's a shame that the McDonald's environment is always mistreated by customers. The staff were very kind and went out of their way to clean the table where we sat.

Went to drive thru and ordered, got items in a bag. Checked before moving off and noticed iron bru wasn't there, had to wait until the server noticed us sitting in the car. Received iron bru eventually and went on our way

Great to have a McDonald's in Fort William! There's a drive-thru here which is very convenient.

The tables were clean, the staff friendly and quick. The food was freshly made and was warm and tasty. Just right after a day of hiking.

McDonald's is extremely crowded, with only three machines with two sides to order from and a drive-in. The queue for the machines is very long. It would be good to add more machines. The staff is very polite and they explain to each customer that there is a code for the next purchase. One big downside is that the women's restroom was in a catastrophic state. One toilet had a lot of feces, and the other had a urine-soaked seat. For the money they make from the crowd, they should have a cleaner. The food was of the same quality as any other McDonald's.

It's a McDonald's, standard run of the mill fast food restaurant, staff team were great but the food is just fast food nothing special.

We ordered on the app but we got no napkins or sauces. This is not the first time this happened. A little more attention to detail would be fabulous.

Visited twice during holiday, both times food was most importantly hot and tasty

Stopped over for a short break on our way to Skye. Service was quick and coffee good. Great thing I clearly noticed how clean they kept the restaurant. Coming from Australia at times McDonald restaurant aren’t kept up to scratch but this one at Fort William was excellent! Great work to the staff.

Nightmare to get in as the car park is tiny and badly layed out, didn’t have the wrap of the day. Said I could have one of the other wraps but charged me full price. No coffee available and no sauces available. I asked for ketchup and BBQ, of which neither were in stock.

Absolutely shocking! I had a big Mac and a salad! The Big Mac burgers looked like boot leather and were dry as the desert, with some plastic cheese and loads of lettuce!! Sauce was minimal ar best! The burgers themselves weren’t even 3mm thick….The salad was just lettuce with 1 slice of tomato and 2 slices of cucumber!! Never again!!

Recently ate at this McDonalds for a meal. Service was easy, quick and friendly. Food was fresh, hot and amazing. Not a lot of parking on site however.

Everything was good except from the fact that they wouldn't serve Sweet Curry or Barbecue sauces, so i took a star off of food and off of service.

Called in to eat before heading home , only downside is the ordering boards , most seem to not work or get orders wrong and you have to start over , I would prefer to place an order with a staff member than the automated boards , some are so bad I just feel like smashing them and leaving to go elsewhere , maybe better and quicker to have staff to take orders , what happened to customer service to replace that with automated boards that don't always work .

McDonald's in Fort William is a solid choice for a quick meal. The service is fast, and the staff are friendly. The restaurant is clean, and the food is consistently good. It can get busy during peak times, but it's a reliable stop when you're on the go. Four stars!

They messed up the one thing that every other mcdonald's could do fine, the cheesburger the core reason why I like going to theese restaurants because it isnt bland and has a colorful texture and they messed it up, they made it bland and uninteresting

its a bit hit and miss here sometimes its not fast food at all and you have quite a wait 40mins.
