Friendly folk. No real ale. Advised to go to the Golden Eagle... which wasn't good.

Brilliant service, great atmosphere, and friendly!cheap deals on drinks and shots of various kinds. Pool and darts for those who like a cheeky game or two! But most of all views all the latest sports games, can't comment on hot food as eaten before going but usual bar snacks were available. Also just to mention it was great to see other locals from another pub 😅

As i was dabbling into a few pints of sweet nectar off my lips on a cold monday afternoon, a man of a savoury nature came in looking for a scrap. As I looked up from my pint I saw that the man had a dead hairline and was wearing skinny jeans so I laughed and focused back on my lovely pint. Next thing I know I see the same man get absolutely sparked clean out by someones nan with a flush left hook to the jaw, apparently she was an ex-regional champion. It turns out the man was trying to order a coors light, something that is a war crime. Overall an entertaining day at an entertaining pub, I would return when I am back in town.

No atmosphere, people just go there looking to fight. Terrible place.

Wow, what amazing prices. Not sure if cheaper than Spoons but I'd certainly choose this pub first.

Relatively decent 'Carling and John Smiths' sports pub with a decent atmosphere and good amount of screens. Seems to have a very 'salt of the earth' local crowd so definitely give it a try if it sounds like your type of thing. Music was a bit loud for my taste. I didn't sample the food but the pint was decent.

I hope the refit gives it a lift

Can't really rate the food as I didn't eat, but couldn't see any sign of food being served honestly. That said, I had a great time here, great atmosphere, great prices and amazing entertainment for football fans. Will definitely be returning

Ok pub if you like sport. I used to go here as a regular many years ago. It has changed a lot since, tv screens all over so it really caters for sports fans which I'm not. Prices are quite reasonable, not a pub if you like a chat with friends.

Brilliant staff, great atmosphere and the drinks are a well priced! Feels very safe in this pub and everyone is so lovely. Highly recommend.

Contrary to popular belief. This place is actually alright. Enjoyed my one hour in there, had a game of pool, looks like it's had a spruce up and everyone seemed to be getting on. Doormen had 3 teeth between them and stank a bit... that's the first impression you get of the place... maybe deal with that and it'll get 5* from me...

Great pub good atmosphere landlady is brilliant too. Table service is spot on bar staff are great and the outdoor smoking/drinking area very clean and tidy with the addition of heat lamps should it get cold. A regular for me.
