What a horrid waste of space place, The food was absolutely terrible. There was LUMPS in the soup. And i found, what im pretty was a PUBIC HAIR in my GRAVY!!! Speaking this “gravy” it was more watered than rain. I might as-well gone and put a stock cube into a park puddle. The food was colder than my dads heart, and honestly chewy as heck. Another loss for the STAFF. Tell me why, it took 13 minute's to get me a coke. The wait for the starter was around 1 hour and there wasn’t that many of us. The service, The food, The staff AND the building is horrible.

Sadly the quality of the food does not live up to the high prices charged. The "garlic" prawns had never seen a piece of garlic they literally tasted like nothing. The hot dog was just an overcooked sausage on cheap toasted bread (not ciabatta as I was advised) and the chicken burger was again very bland with no taste. Maybe we just ordered the wrong things but we were very disappointed. The waiting staff did a good job I cant fault them at all, but the food did take a long time to come out.

Lovely afternoon tea today. We came to the pavillion for afternoon tea for 3. It was amazing the food was so good. The staff were lovely and attentive, we couldn't eat it all so ended up taking some food away for later. We will definitely be back. My mum and sister loved it. Thank you again. 💕

Despite hearing good reviews we were extremely disappointed. Appreciate this is a 'pub' not restaurant but service very laid back. Issue was primarily the food!! Special steak and Guinness pie...really. Gravy more like jelly and edges hard like it had been microwaved, mash solid and greens washed out. Chicken in giros shocking and presentation poor. So sad as this was a place we ate at regularly many years ago and would have made it a regular again moving forward.
