Called in for Sunday lunch. We had battered haddock & flat iron steak. Fabulous tasting food. Very high quality. Excellent service and atmosphere and a pint of cask Timothy Taylor real ale. What more could you want? Highly recommended.

Just before we arrived at costa we went to Greggs to buy a sousage roll for doughter. Once we walked in to Costa Missus stayed in queue while i went to toilet and daughter took a seat. We did not plan to stay at costa but just imagine that some women who work at costa approched my 7 year old daughter and said to her, YOU ARE NOT ALLOWED TO EAT GREGGS IN HERE, SORRY. Sousage roll was just on table unpacked, she was just waiting for me and missus. Just imagine, 7 YEAR OLD KID. Instead of talking to her parents, woman decided to challenge a 7 year old girl.

Afternoon tea for two. Absolutely delicious. Huge, tasty selection of sandwiches and cakes. So much we took the remainder home. Lovely treat for myself and daughter who was visiting for the day. Would definitely recommend.

Visited on Saturday lunch, we had Haddock pieces, Jalapeño Burger and Steak Bagette, all the meals were ok for the price. Nice and friendly staff, family run enterprise. They have only been open a few weeks so they’re still settling in. Some of the menu options were limited that being said they’re probably not run off there feet yet so will have limited supplies of some items. The bench seats were comfortable but the metal stand chairs within cushions a tad hard on the derrière. Overall it was a nice friendly lunch, with an excellent beer choice.
