The Albert in Liverpool

After reading this it was clear where we were going before the game! The Albert can be described as the FC Liverpol pub. It is not only located next to the stadium, but right next to the stand “The Kop”. In this stand stands the hard core of Liverpool, who also call themselves the Kopites. The audience at The Albert is accordingly. The whole pub breathes Liverpool. The ceilings and walls are wallpapered with fan scarves from opponents from past decades. However, if you want to have a nice meal and drink before a game, we can't recommend this pub. People mainly come here to drink a pint and sing fan songs. Attention: Singing along is mandatory!

A MUST DO before and after the game! Live music, relaxed atmosphere. Perfect!

Live band, much better pub than The Park

Atmosphäre unglaublich. Würde am liebsten 20 Sterne geben. Zu vielen Liverpool Spielern haben sie schöne Lieder. Wenn „You Never Walk alone“ dort kommt ist es fast wie im Stadion. Und wenn alle ihre Schals raus holen ist es einfach toll.

Öffnungszeiten stimmen nicht, wie hier angegeben. Montag 12:00 geschlossen.

Praticamente vado sempre prima di andare allo stadio. È un must. Mi ricordo nel novembre 2021 prima di Liverpool vs Southampton. Dapprima era abbastanza tranquillo poi è arrivato un giovanotto con la chitarra ed è diventato una bolgia. Sono uscito che mancavano 50 minuti alla partita. Buon servizio. Ci sono tornato prima di Liverpool vs Brighton 3_4 ore prima. Buon servizio. Bellissimo ambiente.Ed ho comprato le mie pins. Sono stato ieri . Inizialmente tranquillo. Poi piano piano diventa una bolgia. Bellissime le centinaia di sciarpe. Ho comprato una Pins. Ottimo servizio. Appena dietro la KOP. Wonderful.

I was here with my friend before champions league game against Napoli in December 2018. The atmosphere was incredible, I will never forget this moment.

First of all I'm not a Liverpool fan that's obvious but what a absolute dive this place / area is , the beer tasted like chemicals so had to drink bottles , the place is drab & full of tatt & you feel like your going to get robbed or bummed at every turn , thebplace is fill of absolute dregs of society, do not ever go in

Most rude and abrupt staff members I've ever met. Would never enter that pub again, seen our group but choose not to serve us at all. Everyone else outside the pub was helpful and kind.

Racist and disability discriminating pub. Spoke so rudely to the Asian family who were leaving, and targeted them on three different occasions. The old lady was shouting at them when they left their car after they politely explained she left, then came back when they moved and started deliberately putting her weight on their car and trying to cause damage. The police were informed and fine with the family due to the disability needs, but that didn’t stop the pub owners. When they came back, the man also shouted at them on their way back. It was clear they had a disability badge and they continued to shout at them in the street. Would not recommend if you have travelled. Liverpool supporters were not welcomed in Liverpool. The pub punters were great and the atmosphere of fans was fantastic, but would not recommend for people who are of ethnic minority background. It was clear what the issue was for all that witnessed it. Wouldn’t give it a one, but felt the need to write a review for the poor family who were targeted.

This Atmosphere before a Liverpool match was absolutely EPIC. The live music, chanting and singing was incredible, hits you right in the heart and gets your emotions and support up! What a great night out, celebrating the team you love, with scarfs all over the ceiling and just pure joy in the air! I was with my wife and all I can say it the Liverpool fans are absolute gems, they cleared a space at the bar so my wife could order what gentlemen. Vibe was friendly and warm, best club supporter in the world, YNWA

Went here on the night Rolling stones played at Anfield (9/06/22). Staff were AWFUL. The older lady swore at a customer and complained she had worked 5 hours!! She told another staff member he had sworn at her but he never. We were eventually served but was grossly overcharged £12.85. For 2 large vodkas and tonic.(draught tonic.) Cheaper in town!! First and last time here.

Must go place for the pre match atmosphere. (Can be very busy, but worth it all the way). YNWA

Unbelievable atmosphere after the game on Wednesday night! Live music after the game was great, we sang songs for a good 2.5hrs. Bar staff where friendly even tough they where rushed off their feet.

A place in liverpool folklore, words don't make sense of the memories made in this place, floor to ceiling in flags scarves and banners. If your a red you already know. Almost a shrine to lfc. Ceiling covered with scarves and flags of almost every team liverpool have played.

Must be the worst pint you can buy around anfield.

Excellent atmosphere before a home game, bit of an old fashioned feel inside. Phenomenal array of match day scarfs to fill the ceiling, along with other LFC related memorabilia filling up the walls.

I've been going to The Albert for around 10 years, usually before every home game of the season. The atmosphere is great, although the queues on match day are not good, but tbh, it's the same at every pub at that time!

Perfect place to soak up the Anfield atmosphere prior to the games. Worth dropping in for a pint even to admire the Liverpool decorations on the walls including the old jerseys and pictures.

Not many pubs by Old Trafford but this was the best of the bunch. Bar staff were great even faced with thousands through the doors for Magic weekend

This is a pub like no other. On match days it’s mobbed, the cold bottled beer flows and the patrons - Liverpool FC fans from far and wide - congregate, sing their anthems and have a terrific time. Moments of glory are played on a loop on the TVs, chants resonate as the Kop choir become more frenzied, a great sight. It isn’t posh, it’s far from a gastro but the management and staff are very welcoming.

It’s hard to nock this pub because had so many brilliant memories from this pub . Was one on the best pubs ever for football atmosphere that has unfortunately gone for a few years now .. no more constant singing like it was in the 90s and early 2000s to many foreigners in my opinion .. Any way my point on the last game of the season visit with friends and my wife . It was way over crowded my wife was have in a panic attack we had to get out of the pub ASAP . The lady selling the badges not sure if she’s the owner had no respect for safety for my wife or any one else in the pub kicking of at us swearing , grabbing are arms trying not to let us out !! because we had drinks out side ( there was thousands of fans outside with a drink) . While kicking of over something no one cares about you probably broke every health and safety law on over crowding ,And hygiene rule and every fire regulation law going. I no it’s always busy in there match days but this occasion it was way to busy not safe at all .. way way to busy accident waiting to happen if any city no about crushing it’s Liverpool!! Safety of customers should come first before anything I hope you read this was very unfair I was actually being polite trying to explain my wife’s situation wouldn’t listen not nice at all my wife has always said how nice people are in Liverpool until this lady was so aggressive in a uncomfortable situation.. bad experience

The Albert, oder auch "Der zwölfte Mann" genannt, ist das Pub, das sich direkt vor dem Anfield Stadion befindet. Rappelvoll vor den Spielen. Sämtliche Decken und Wände sind geschmückt mit Fanschals der LFC-Gegner in den vergangenen Jahrzehnten. Sehr beeindruckend.

När man kliver in genom dörren här så inser man snabbt att man är på en gammal hardcore pub. Några män i baren vänder sig om och tittat suspekt på er och man känner att man bara är på besök. Dock en genuin och skön upplevelse med ett bra bemötande. Detta är på riktigt mina vänner

Pub vecchio stile proprio sotto la curva dei reds, la kop. Le birre non sono quelle ale storiche che si pensa di trovare in un pub ma ci sono tante spine di birre commerciali. I bicchieri sono di plastica dura....sicuramente per gli incidenti. Il pub prima delle partite è invaso da centinaia di tifosi che bevono e cantano davanti alle partiti su tantissimi multi schermi sui muri. Tutti carini e disponibili. Ci hanno fatto sentire a casa. Meraviglioso

The Albert är det ultimata stället att ta en öl eller två före Liverpool FC:s hemmamatch. Stadion ligger bokstavligt talat runt hörnet. Stämningen är varm och familjär.

Thankfully the Albert hasn't changed. You need to visit when l pool are playing. The songs are amazing e.g. If you walk into the Albert you'll hear our famous noise get out you Everton B******s were the Billy Shankly boys. What's so special is there are evertonians there joining in with the banter Never to be forgotten experience.

Sfeervolle pub om voor een wedstrijd een biertje te drinken met medesupporters. Vriendelijke bartenders, veel supporters met bijbehorende sfeer.

virtually impossible to get into on match day.....go on a Friday..have a few beers and just walk around and take in all the history on the walls............and ceiling.........a must for all pool fans
