Amazing Community Pub with amazing people at the helm. Food is wonderful especially the steaks! Great choice of Cask asles among other beverages. Lovely beer Garden and wonderful decked area.

They say that first impressions count, they do. This community pub has got it all right, and made for a thoroughly enjoyable experience for my wife and I at lunchtime .( And our dog Tilly enjoyed herself too) The food was great, wholesome and tasteful. The beer was great too. The service was exceptional. We tried a Valentines dessert special- chocolate fondue- to die for. It will not be our only trip to the Air Hostess.

The food here is excellent, they also have an incredible range of beer which has changed every time I visit.

Just awful. Chewy steak served on thin sliced supermarket style bread and a few chips some of which were luke warm. £13 Yes I did let them know, were they bothered? No. I took the steak for my dog who might appreciate it.

Great food at affordable prices. Really nice atmosphere. Highly recommended.

What a cracking pub. We visited for the first time recently to celebrate a birthday and were immediately taken by the cosy and welcoming atmosphere on a busy Friday night. It's rare to find a pint of Timothy Taylor for under £5 in this area so that was also a pleasant surprise. We had a bit of a wait for food but it was worth it. Generous portions, piping hot (also rare), delicious and reasonably priced. Relaxed but attentive service and dog friendly too. We'll be back soon.

Recently visited this place and was.left very disappointed with the food and service. The food is what you would expect in a weatherspoons. Most certainly would not eat there again as there are lots of better places to eat. Very poor........

I have been to the air hostess for a meal 3 times in the last 3 weeks. What a pleasure it was!!!! Lovely, happy staff. Everything I managed to try on the menu was delicious and prices were reasonable. I will definitely be back on my next visit to Nottingham. Keep up the great work

Attended friends 70th birthday celebration. Cannot fault the venue, food was excellent.

Great atmosphere and notable beer selection. What a transformation. We were only in for drinks but will return for a meal.

Food, service and atmosphere fabulous! My husband even said he wished this was our local and I agree with him. The place was packed which tells you all you need to know!

Very nice good value food and drinks.

We had heard so many good things about the air hostess but did not have time to visit. We finally did today and they did not disappoint, food was 1st class along with the service from the team. 5 stars all the way well done team.

Yet again myself and two of my family have dined at The Tollerton Air Hostess. Food, Staff, Atmosphere were and have been consistent for every visit throughout this year. I cannot thankyou enough. You are all so very hard working. Please continue to make all your customers as happy as I am.

Rubbish not as good as it's made out to be rude staff and be careful you may be overcharged so check your bills before payment .

Great food, great atmosphere and great service. This is our go to pub for great tasty home-cooked food. Last night I had the steak in ale pie which was superb. But a bit of a shame that it just came with mash and no vegetables? Looked a bit bare on the plate – surely a few peas or carrots isn’t going to break the bank? !

Highly recommend this community pub and excellent restaurant, we went on a Thursday evening and the restaurant was buzzing, grest to see everyone enjoy great service and food. Steak night but other menu has grest options inc a wonderful Tofu, dish and the most amazingly cheesecake!.

Melt-in- the mouth Roast Sirloin Sunday lunch .... hadn't booked in, but accommodated in the bar end as a 'Walk -In' . Absolutely no fuss or bother, made as welcome as ever and the food was ace! Just as if it had been home -cooked!! Huge thank you Team Stess! N B....we were lucky as a walk- in : it may not have been possible if fully booked.

Visited for lunch with four family members on a Monday. A very well managed and run bar and restaurant serving a variety of well cooked and presented plates. This is a community owned and run place and all the better for it, with courteous and helpful staff. Unsurprisingly it was busy even on a Monday.

We popped in here today for lunch and I was bowled over by the friendly staff and buzzing atmosphere (and it was a Monday lunchtime!). We booked a table and were glad we did as it was very busy, mostly with a more mature clientele. The table we had was lovely, very bright under the sky light and in the middle of a bustling area. It was a little loud for me as I struggle with sounds but the staff happily found us another table to sit at, even moving their own management to make space in a quieter area for us. The menu wasn't the biggest, but it covered all the bases and the food... WOW! It was brilliant food and big portions. I had a steak and ale pie which was gorgeous and my friend had the fish and chips, which could have been labelled whale and chips! The food was clearly freshly cooked and incredibly tasty. I wish I had taken pictures to go with my review so I could show how amazing it looked! I will 100% definitely be returning here for lunches and dinners.

A place I have been visiting frequently over the last few years and have never had a bad meal. The staff is well trained and very friendly. My preferred venue where I can sit outside with a light meal and a glass of white wine for lunch in the summer or have an evening meal by the fire on a cold winter day. There is only one thing... Because they are so good it becomes more challenging to get a table at short notice so I would recommend to book well in advance.

First visit and a lovely experience.

A brilliant place to visit. Excellent service and superb food. Only little criticism, it was a very noisy venue....perhaps because everyone was relaxed and wished to chat !

What a gorgeous Summer vibe. Friendly smiling staff were chatty and informative. The food was out of this world with stunning flavours, textures and beautiful to look at.

The Air Hostess is one of my favourite pubs/restaurants. The food is consistently amazing. You can go for a 3 course meal if you wish, or a lighter bite: either way I have never been let down. There is a dedicated children's menu that provides kid classics and currently they have a dino exploration ice cream for dessert, keeps them entertained! The appearance of the pub is of a high standard and the service is excellent. There is a little play area for children, so the kids can be amused whilst they wait for their food to arrive. Booking is advised as it's popular, but I have also not yet been turned away as a walk-in. Although I have never taken mine, dogs are welcome, and I believe there is a small car park available.

Friendly atmosphere , good service.

Had a table booked within the restaurant today. We were placed at the back end were we waited around 15-20 minutes to have a drinks order. Eventually we decided to order from the bar, when someone had arrived to take this. After an elderly couple behind us, told us they had waited 15 minutes for a drink, once it had been ordered. We told the waitress we would collect our own drinks from the bar. But we’d like to order some food. She explained shebwill have to get the head waitress to take this. Another 10 minutes passed. Still no waitress in sight. At this the children are becoming restless as they’re hungry. My sister went to get another drink from the bar and over heard the waitress saying to another waitress that they’ll will just after wait to order. Which we don’t mind but we waited to excess and there was no need to make such a rude comment! We didn’t get this waitresses name, but she was in a white shirt, with blonde tied back hair and a slight full parted fringe. After asking twice more to order we eventually after 46 minutes of being seated had our order taken. Pretty poor service to say the least. Our food arrived promptly. One item incorrect. But was changed. Then arrived wrong again, however was changed. The peas on the children’s menu tasted of some sort of washing up detergent. Once all meals were finished, no ask if our meals were ok during the time we was eating I must add. We again asked the rude waitress if we could order some pudding, she snappily told us that we’d need the head waitress. I proceeded to ask her what milk free alternative were on offer for the children’s menu, as two of the children we’re dairy intolerant. She snapped back at me and explained that she wasn’t dealing with this and Brierley was. Again no need to be so rude to a customer. If you can’t not be polite then working in a restaurant isn’t a job for her. After a few minutes we had to flag another waitress down to take a deserts order, again to be told it had to be taken by the head waitress. Again we waited and it was eventually taken a little more swiftly this time. We asked if we could have them outside as the children were becoming restless. Which was fine and they brought them out. Overall its left a sour taste in our mouth. It’s pretty clear that some of the staff lack basic manners. We were regular customers visiting at least twice a month. But I think I will be considering were I spend my money in the future. 10 very unhappy customers and business lost today.

Sunday lunch was excellent. The roast pork loin was delicious, good choice of vegetables. The only negative was the half portion of yorkshire pudding on the smaller lunch serving. The lemon cheese cake was also excellent

Yesterday we returned to the Air Hostess, for the first time this year & certainly weren’t disappointed. The service was excellent, warm & friendly. The food, I had the haddock, my wife had the burger, was well presented & delicious. Along with a couple of drinks & all for less than £50, we won’t be leaving it so long for our next visit

Good Sunday lunch and plenty too. Great service with a smile nothing too much trouble in this lovely pub. Prices pretty reasonable, good value for money. Will call in again soon. Just wish the knives had been a little sharper.

A massive thank you to Rachel & the team today for our family meal after our Dad's internment. We sat outside in the sunshine 🌞, the food & service were amazing, and it was truly special in a place that he loved. This pub is the beating heart if Tollerton. We have been before and had a nice meal and the service was great, but today was disappointing. Yes it was busy but no more than the last time and it took 2 hours from arriving to paying the bill. We waited 20 minutes to order, 50 minutes for our meals to be arrive and 25 minutes for 2 tubs of kids ice cream which we had to ask about. It felt like because we aren’t regulars our custom wasn’t wanted. A shame as the food was nice.

Brilliant place lovely food and great staff.

So happy we found this place. It's a lovely atmosphere, spacious and great setting. Staff are really welcoming and attentive. The food was delicious and perfect portions and price. We had the butternut squash soup and parmesan chips followed by a beautiful sorbet. It's definitely going to a family hang out.

Not the Air Hostess, I remember, as the menu was completely different. I know places change menus, but this menu was not as good as the last one. Also while waiting for a booked table , took around 20 minutes to get served and there was no one at the bar!

We are regulars at air hostess and have always had incredbile service their food is reasonable priced and always delicious.

Went for the first time today and was not disappointed, great seating areas inside and out , the place is spotless 👍🏻 staff are very welcoming and very efficient 👍🏻 we both had the twice cooked belly pork which was absolutely amazing. Definitely will go back again. Keep up the great work.

Really good pub, sold to me by a colleague, who I'd one of the share holders. Fantastic Community owned pub, really beautiful and clean too. So pleased we visited and had a super drink and meal.

The nicest village pub to spend a sunny bank holiday afternoon.

Last minute visit on a Monday night with the family, we phoned up last minute and they managed to squeeze us in. The staff were lovely and incredibly friendly, the food was excellent, but what we enjoyed most was the atmosphere and community feel about the place - would definitely recommend! We’ll be back!

I went to this pub for the first time and I have to say it was outstanding food. No wonder it is always fully booked up. You also have to ring up to avoid disappointment which says it all. I also have to say that the sticky toffee pudding is out of this world. It is the best that I have had so far in the UK.

First and last time. The Sausage was so hard I could't hardly cut it never mind eat it - they were rock hard. My wife's pork wasn't cooked and she left most of the meal. When we mentioned the food to the waitress, we were told that the chef had said they had been cooking the sausages all day but ours must have been dodgy. They said they were sorry but took all the money anyway. We wont be back.

One of my favourite pubs - but St Patrick's day entertainment was dreadful. Not a single Irish song 🤔. Poor show. Try to get it right next year.

We finally got a table here, and it was worth it! The gammon was amazing. My mum had the crumble and said it was the best she'd ever tasted. The cheesecake was to die, for although the base was a bit too crumbly. The only thing that spoiled it for us, and a couple of tables around us, was that a child was watching her ipad (in the next room), and it was extremely loud. We all felt that the staff should have mentioned this to the parents, not the diners. Despite this, we have already tried to book, but the dates we'd like are already full!

Brilliant meal, a gem of a restaurant on my doorstep that I didn't know existed till recently. Definitely going back.

This pub in the heart of Tollerton is owned by many of the locals, which has no doubt contributed to its success. It has a great management team and brilliant staff. The wine menu is excellent and the food is OK. You will need to book as this is a popular spot.

First visit. Recommended. All four of us had meals we loved and would have again. The staff were lovely - helpful and friendly. No wonder it's popular.

Have visited quite a few times and the food and service is always excellent. Came on Tuesday, my husband had the Salmon starter which he said would not be out of place in a Michelin establishment, i had the duck parfait which was equally delicious with a good amount of toast (so many places are tight on the toast!) We both had the turkey dinner and we both agreed that would take some beating ! Of couse we had the full size portion that was very generous and filled us both (and my husband takes some filling ! ) Note there is a smaller portion available too if required. Couldnt manage dessert just finished with coffee. Excellent value for quality of food served. Will be back soon, thank you, Andrea
