Just had the most fantastic lamb and chicken dish. Can’t recommend this place enough. Great food. Great Atmosphere and service. Well done

Food look good and that is one thing I can say good about this place. We order Lamb musaka and Mixed Souvlaki. Musaka was ok but without any revelation could be a little bot warmer, but Mixed Souvlaki was very bad. For 21£ you will get 4 small pieces of chicken and Lamb i think , saying small pieces I mean a little bit bigger then nuggets. Meat was not seasoned and very dry. With this you will get cold rice and two tiny portion of tzatzyki and Salsa🤦‍♀️ we order as well for Mixed Souvlaki portion fries with we never get and on meantime we ask for them at least twice. Drink was served when we was on half way to eat food and as well after asking them where are our drink with we order together with food. Food was serve literally 10 minutes after we order so we was a bit sceptical if they are made fresh🤨 nobody come to us even once to ask if everything is ok. When we ask for bill missing portion of fries still was there so we ask for remove this and as well for removing service charge , coz they literally just take our order and bring food, waitress look at us like we literally at this moment slap her in face. With I don’t understand coz she did not put any effort in her job. Overall rating 2 stars just coz place look nice inside.

We had a fabulous Thursday evening meal here to celebrate a birthday. The restaurant was busy with a great atmosphere, and the staff were fabulous, especially the lovely waitresses who looked after us. Our party of five had a varied mix of food, which was all superbly presented and tasted delicious. (The strawberry daiquiri's were gorgeous too!). Overall, it was an excellent night, and we are looking forward to visiting again 😊

Absolutely excellent little place in Headingley. Great feel to the place as soon as you walk in, very welcoming. We ordered the mezze platter for Greek Gods which was basically a taster of everything - what a treat! We absolutely loved it! Will definitely be returning with our friends and family.

You feel welcomed as soon as you walk in the place and met with a warm welcome. Seated very quickly and the service was very friendly and efficient. The chicken souvlaki was beautiful and a very generous portion! Cocktails are reasonably priced and delicious.

I am getting a complex that I always leave 5 star reviews, but part of that is that I know what I like and I use Tripadvisor to research beforehand. I also read between the lines of any negative reviews where they are in the minority. We were in Leeds to settle our daughter into University and stayed overnight in Headingley. We wanted somewhere lively but not totally mad with student fresher activity and Santorini certainly met our requirements. It was very busy and we had to wait a few minutes before our table was ready but we sat at the bar with a gin and were quite happy . We loved the interior decoration and the service was very attentive. Our table was in a corner at the back but we were never left unattended and were able to get service as and when we needed it. We really enjoyed the food. Greek salad and bread selection to start then Moussaka and lamb chops (husband loved these!) and an ice cream section to finish. The house red wine was also very palatable. It was the perfect evening to relax us after the stress of the day.

Reservation was easy, nice ambiance and very friendly staff. The food was delicious as was the dessert. Good plate presentation, temperature was perfect. Definitely worth a visit when I'm in Leeds again!

I have never been so shocked by the management of an establishment. The venue was overcrowded and despite booking a table we still had to wait upon arrival as they were too busy. The manager was incredibly rude and treats her staff very poorly indeed. Despite our experience being ruined by this lady, the food was excellent. If I wish to eat from here again I would rather order a takeout!

Arrived mid week without a reservation. Place was buzzing. Greeted by friendly staff and shown to a table at the back. Drinks and food ordered and delivered promptly. Both of us had gyros… one was chicken, one was triple mix. The table at the back was a bonus as no one nearby to watch us scoffing ( very inelegantly) huge gyros… overflowing with fillings. Very tasty. Chips which accompanied them were probably surplus to requirements ( but we ate them anyway). Nice portion of baklava and ice cream to share finished the meal off nicely. Overall a lovely experience… great food staff and atmosphere. Looking forward to our next visit.

You can’t really tell from the outside how big and special this place is from the outside. The decor is really special and trendy.The food was probably the best Greek meal I’ve ever had.The chicken wings were amazing and I had a gyros salad bowl which was extremely tasty and filling. Lovely food, the meze plates to start are great for 2. Mains were large and very tasty. One of our party had a main which took extra time to come so was given a free starter of salad and feta while she waited, which is a nice touch. Santorini is our go to place in Headingley if we have friends or family staying. People always enjoy! Generous portions. Reasonable prices. Fairly good array of options. Have tried few things on the menu- the beef guvec is a firm fav. Orange cake (not orange pie) is delish but they don’t always have it. Also partial to a Nutella martini. Honestly just such a solid choice if you’re looking for nice meal out in Headingley. It’s busy at weekend eves so if you know you want to go book. Often get delivery from here and never had any issues with it being late or cold or stuff missing- if you order direct from their website there are more options. Lovely delivery guy too, always the same one.

I've been going to Santorini for years and it doesn't get old! The food is absolutely delicious and the menu is diverse. There are lots of options for vegetarians and they also have a gluten free menu which is brilliant for me as I have an allergy! They have options for allergens so just ask and they will do their very best to adapt meals for you! The restaurant itself is beautifully decorated, the environment is lovely and all the staff are very accommodating and friendly which adds to the brilliant atmosphere!

Myself and 7 friends visited on Saturday 2nd October. Were really looking forward to it. What a total disappointment! Mixed starter was ok, calamari was tough, overcooked. Aubergine dip was disgusting, my friend asked me to try it, I did, and had to spit it out.. very strange texture and taste was awful. The only good starter was the Houllumi, can't mess that up? Sides of hummus and Tzatziki, well, again strange taste to both, not sure what they putting in these things but it's awful. Now to the mains, chicken gyros, meatballs, mixed souvlaki, burger, lamb kleftiko X 2 and beef guvec. The only one that wasn't totally bland and tasteless was the Guvec, very nice. Kleftiko was in a watery thin tasteless sauce, burger was raw, gyros was dry and tasteless too. Mixed Souvlaki was one skewer with 4 chicken bits and 4 lamb chunks, totally overcooked and with that same strange taste as other stuff, usually have full skewer of each, also as others have said NO Adana ( my fav) but it's on menu and online. . All in all a total letdown, how anyone can say the food reminds them of Turkey or Greece is beyond me! Nothing like it! I make better hummus and Tzatziki than that. Pita was cold so was focaccia ( which is not Greek or Turkish, balloon bread is Turkish,!! Called manager, who did take few things off bill, but had the audacity to leave service charge of nearly£20, which we declined to pay. Do yourselves a favour and go elsewhere, totally ruined our night. Overpriced, overrated and should be avoided if you have any taste buds!!

The food was ok. My other half had Gyros and said it was pretty good after he had microwaved it. Everything came cold and soggy and around 50 mins later than they said, so we waited 1 and a half hours for our food. When I rang to see where it was the women was rude, non-comital and unapologetic. Wont be ordering for delivery from there again!

It was a test match day we had booked,glad we had it was wall to wall people.There were lots of staff the,service was ok,the food was a little slow coming out of the kitchen when it arrived it was good .when the bill arrived £1 for a spoonful of mayonnaise was not good on a bill of well over £100 including service charge which wasn't necessary.

First visit for about four years and really enjoyed it.Standard Mediterranean menu and was well prepared and very tasty. I particularly enjoyed the mixed souvlaki. Attentive, friendly and efficient service with the waiting staff working well as a team. Restaurant was busy without being overcrowded and a pleasant, relaxed ambience. Most enjoyable evening.

Went on Saturday 21st August for a birthday meal. We booked for 6pm and were seated straight away. The menu is ok and we had starters and main course literally one straight after the other. I had the Kleftico Lamb and after having this on holiday I have to say this was a major let down, just bland. Wife had a chicken salad which was ok and my daughter had chicken Souvlaki. My daughter said it was just like Nandos. After finishing our main courses we asked for the deserts menu. Literally a minute after we get this a waiter/manager asks us to go to the bar area as they have allocated the table for 90 minutes. I told him we had been there just over an hour and he looks at his watch and just looks back at me. I said we hadnt ordered desert and he walked away. At this point we asked for the bill as I didnt want to spend anymore time there. The waiter/manager then comes back to offer us a free shot of Ouzo which we declined and he walked away again. The waitress who had been dealing with us apologised. Then the bill arrives with a service charge already added. I found the whole thing very distasteful and definately will not go back.

We went for some food last week, the place is really nice and the food is okay, a bit expensive but it is nice.The thing that really surprise is to find really cheap wine as a house wine, wine that you can find in the corner shop for 3x10 pounds.I think you are making enough money to be selling this type of wine that you can buy for 2 pounds without invoice. I know that restaurants need to make 60 80% GP in drinks and I can understand that, but 2 pounds bottle of wine...... COME ON.It is really greedy to see restaurants selling these types of wines.Deffo you need to change that.

It was our first visit and won’t be our last! From start to finish our experience was excellent. The food was excellent, I can highly recommend the mixed meat sharing starter. Our waiter who was running the floor up stairs was excellent and made us feel very welcome.

This is a lovely restaurant and since we have been to turkey love Turkish food so gave this a go and wasn't disappointed. Food was lovely and service great and weren't sitting around waiting. We went at 6.30 which was a good time, any later and the place became busy and quite crowded.The only downfall is that it is quite pricey.

We booked ahead and told that the booking was for 1.5 hours . We arrived 15 mins early. Taken to our table although we informed them we were waiting for one other family member. We ordered a hot metze for 2 that arrived on a wooden serving board very small portions although nicely varied. Our mains were a spicy chicken giro salad and two pork giros . The meat in all the dishes were meager but there was lots of salad and other accompaniments. The staff were overly attentive.. to the extent it was uncomfortable. We were then informed 15 mins before we expected that we needed to leave ! When questioned we were told that they started the time from when we arrived. ! Won’t be going back the venue looks great but the food and service was not !

1st time that we visited was a very busy Saturday night last year,the service was shocking and very slow however the food was good,therefore we decided to return again at the weekend.Very disappointed that they have now taken off the two course special meals/menu which is still advertised on there website but there was a white sticker over this now on the menus.The service was better this time not as slow but also not as busy in the restaurant,so no 2 course special this time but we did have starters of prawns in breadcrumbs with a dip which were ok,& meatballs starter which were ok nothing special bland tomato sauce,I had Lamb Kleftiko for my main which was bland the gravy in came in and the lamb was just bland wasn’t worth the £15:95 I paid,(the Kleftiko I had in Kamari was 10 times better than this one)Lamb chops were good just alittle pink,moussaka was good,garlic bread was much smaller than the one we had last time,very good chocolate brownie pudding,service charge of almost £9 added automatically to our bill which was so very cheeky I prefer to leave a cash tip if we have had good service. Won’t be visiting again for a while I don’t think.Afew cuts have been made in this restaurant to compensate for the time they have been closed which we didn’t like.

Booked spontaneously on the 2nd day of indoor service post lockdown - it was very quiet. We were there for less than 1hr. We paid £52 for one shared starter, two gyros and a drink each. That’s including the £5 service charge we got for service - which was a bit off. The waitress (from liverpool) was wonderful, so chatty and nice. The other two... a bit cold, and not very attentive considering how empty the place was. We were shocked when we saw the £5 tip they added at the end of our bill. As for the food, very hit and miss. The best borek I’ve ever tasted, and great halloumi. Everything else was just okay. Chips were nice and crispy but drowning in paprika (not stated on the menu), as were both portions of gyros. It completely overwhelmed the flavour and we ended up leaving half of our meals because of how thick the paprika was which coated them. The falafels were okay, the gyros were okay... not worth how much we paid, though - in my opinion It was just a bit overpriced and underwhelming.

We booked an outside table as inside was not an option due to lockdown rules.When we arrived we took the only available table at the front, dispite it being a beautiful day we were sat on the shady side of the street, it was cool windy and at times a little uncomfortable. The service was a little slow but the food was delicious.If we had realised that there were tables available at the rear of the building we would have preferred to sit there but they were not offered to us.Sitting outside at the front is ideal if you enjoy people watching, it is a very busy street on a Saturday afternoon.

Originally, I had planned to go to another restaurant that I knew. They said they wouldn't deliver this evening, so Iooked for someone else and found Santorini. I am a convert! The best experience in a long time! I won't be going anywhere else! Fantastic. Delicious! Please... If you haven't tried Santorini... Do so! It's delicious and great value.

Wanted to visit here after hearing/seeing many leeds food bloggers say how nice it was for Greek food. Would agree for the starter and desert, however I wasn’t struck by the chicken gyros that I ordered. Could be down to personal preference, however I’ve never come across a gyros quite like this one- it had a sauce and wouldn’t say it had authentic gyros taste! Very saucy, compared to a traditional one that just has some tzatziki in. That being said the mixed meze starter was lovely and the baklava was the nicest I’ve tried- warm too! Just a shame about the gyros- would go back and try another main.
