Nice to spot planes and helicopters with the kids. Lovely atmosphere, very family friendly. Coffee is okay Did take 45+ minutes to bring lunch out though

Rated 2 stars for hygiene. If it were better, would be 4 star. Just disappointed everything done behind serving area is done wearing plastic gloves. Fantastic, except everything is done in same gloves. Clearing tables, handling food onto plates, wiping surfaces during food preparation, taking money, card machine, just the same gloves worn by staff behind counter and staff serving tables.... other than that, what I ate was nice, took ages to eat, very busy, just didn't want to cause a scene. WONT be returning, then went out to watch the aeroplanes and helicopters.

Sunday Roast (Chicken), so tasty, fresh, big portions, the yorkshire was spot on, nothing missed, gravy smooth. Great staff so funny

Fantastic lunch. My friend ate duck a la’orange, superb! I had wonderful cheese omelette. Followed by tart tatin for two. Exceptional cooking, service friendly and efficient.

Don’t go if you are in a hurry! The food was good when it finally arrived but 40 minutes wait is totally unacceptable.

Flew the clients down, had time for a spot of lunch. I had the ham and mustard sandwich, my colleague had the chicken burger. As always, service was brilliant, wait reflected that it was freshly prepared. Tea and coffee were spot on. Both lunches were tasty and well presented. 10/10

Visited with our granddaughter Ordered two lunches for myself and husband and a kids meal for her After 45 minutes, and asking waiting staff how long it would be - eventually pointing out that our 2 year old was hungry - they brought out her lunch Myself and husband waited 15 minutes more for ours Totally unacceptable - was told the delay was because they were busy, yet several tables who were seated and ordered after us had their meals before us Seemed they had misplaced our order - but no apology was forthcoming.

The sun was shining so we decided to go out for lunch and went to the Aerodrome Cafe on the recommendation of friends. Luckily we phoned ahead to reserve a table which was just as well as it was very crowded. In spite of it being packed, the service and food were excellent. I was impressed wth the choice on the menu and how cheerful the waiting staff were given the number of people they were serving. We would definitely go again.

This is the first time I have ever given a poor review. We went late lunchtime. It was busy but not as busy as last time I was there. We waited over an hour for our food and by the time it came we were past being hungry and our 3 Yr old granddaughter was too. If they had let us know there was such a long wait we would have gone elsewhere. Such a shame we won't be going back. The cafe needs to get this sorted as family group of 6 left because of the wait

Just come to see the aeroplane taking off and landing, but also have a great breakfast, served by friend staff (had extra cake, yummy)

First visit here & wasn’t disappointed we all really enjoyed our lunch. The varied menu, food, view & friendly service made up for the rainy day. Definitely will be going back might try the Sunday roast next time. Highly recommend

This was our second visit. The food, value and ambience can't be faulted. Could only give 4 stars as the wait staff although friendly and helpful, they were so stretched that I almost felt that I should get up and help them! However this is now my favourite place for lunch we will be returning!

Waiting for passengers. Ordered a well done bacon butty. Absolutely perfect !! Lovely and crisp, the bun was superb and real HP Sauce 👍

I have been here before and each time I wish I lived closer and could come more. It's had a revamp since I last visited, new tables but the same great menu and ooooosh those chips!! I had a chicken wrap and chips, the portion size was just right, I coupled mine with a cup of earl grey but there was a really good range of other drinks. The staff were friendly and helpful, lovely atmosphere in there and then there is the view!! I love watching planes and helicopters and I LOVE seeing how the owner makes families with small children feel welcome!! For a mum with young children this must be a good send! Warm friendly and a panoramic view to keep their interest while a warm cuppa can be had!! I will 100% be back and soon I hope!!
