The Abbey Tap in Stratford-on-Avon

Spent the day working from this pub. Lovely,relaxed atmosphere,whit a brilliant lunch deal (£6 for a meal and a drink), music was brilliant,so were the bar team members.

Could be good if the beer was kept well. It actually takes effort to get craft beer wrong, but it was terrible and the service wasn't much better. Took a pint back which was brown and should have been lager coloured, got the same pint back and then attitude when I said that was also wrong. The replacement of a different beer was also flat. Needs work in both how to keep beer and customer service. Shame.

Excellent food at very reasonable prices. We came at lunch time and they had a great lunch menu for 6 pounds each that included drinks.

Friendly staff, great drinks at the Bottomless Brunch, but literally the worst food ever! The avocado toast had unripe slices of avocado that were hard as a rock, the “poached”egg was cooked to the point of being hard, and the bread this was placed on was so thin and flat with no flavor. All the other egg dishes that our group ordered had the eggs cooked hard as a rock. Shockingly bad food!

Went to Abby Tap, lovely atmosphere and lovely barman, had a good experience. Order food and cocktails enjoyed the evening. Hope to come back

Friend and I had a burger and it was perfect, Compliments to the chef! Friendly staff and security. Vibrant atmosphere on the Friday and everyone get’s involved with the karaoke and disco party.

The Abbey Tap had a lovely decor and atmosphere, the staff are really friendly and willing to do anything to help, discovered they do karaoke on Friday nights which I will be returning to attend!!!

Out for a pre-ABBA dinner (on a Saturday night) - wanting fun, cocktails and a good meal. What we got was quite the opposite. Disappointing! We ordered cocktails....... it took several attempts as most of the ingredients were unavailable! Once we had finally managed to order 8 cocktails they then came to the table in 2's, the first pair arriving 10 mins after ordering; the final pair arriving 30 mins after ordering!! Not convinced they were all correct..... Food ordering was more successful but was a struggle. The server didn't seem to know the menu and struggled to take the order. Food came out fairly quickly (in fact it started to arrive before the last of the drinks was delivered). Food was below average. The mac and cheese was okish, the dough balls that came with them were barely cooked (looked anaemic) and there was no butter or anything on them so they were pretty inedible! Nachos were cold and looked like someone had just emtied a packet into a bowl and thrown the toppings on! Burgers were okay - but chips were freezing, like they'd been sat on the side a while; and the burger buns were cold and clearly just been defrosted! The waiter bringing out the food didn't care at all; he brought the meals and just placed where there was a space, didn't ask whose meal it was; we had to pass along the table to get to the right person! Cutelry had to be requested twice! We won't be returning in a hurry!

We had a great night here. The service was fantastic, everybody is lovely here! Looking forward to come back!

Friendly staff, made to feel welcome great atmosphere. Karaoke vibes something you dont get much around here anymore. Be coming back again... a must visit!

Visited this pub before West Ham match and the atmosphere was perfect! Good selection of beers and the wings are unbeatable there!! Definitely will be back again

Stopped in with a colleague for a bussines chat and found the venue atmosphere great all round and service really friendly, would visit again.

Visited here with my partner, we both had an enjoyable time. It was quiet but still the atmosphere was fun as the staff took the time to talk to us which compensated for the quietish environment. We plan to visit again for the karaoke evening.

It's a very trendy and modern looking bar. Products selection is pretty wide and they do a very tempting buy one get one free on cocktails promotion. Atmosphere was also very nice so I would certainly recommend.

One of Stratford’s best pubs - very friendly with a great range of drinks and great food. Tried the Sweet Pepperoni burger and it was so good . Definitely pay a visit if you’re nearby and looking for a place to eat and drink and to enjoy the sport!

I am only giving 4 starts because the first booking supposed to be a bottomless brunch from 11am-1pm because they only have it until 1pm and we had a friend that had to leave at that time. However, we changed because most people did not drink alcohol so it was not worth it, so we ended up changing as a lunch instead. We were not told that the kitchen opens at 12pm only so we spend an hour hungry waiting for it. The service was excellent and the food was also good, they also do 2-4-1 everyday so is a great place to go anytime and hopefully I will be back soon but not that early on the day.

Great pub. Nice atmosphere for the west ham home games. Nice selection of drinks and good food. Will visit again!

All the staff very friendly from the beginning of our stay. Informed us of current beer availability and recommended alternative choices for beer that was unavailable at the time. Chicken wings were a life saver, as we needed something to soak up a days session elsewhere. Shared a joke about not being allowed chicken with bar staff. Cool bar, often forgotten. Tucked away from the busy Westfield shopping centre. Nice little retreat from the hussle and bustle.

Came here with my parents and they catered to my mums food allergies very well! The staff were so polite and quickly sorted out any queries we had about the menus and drinks. We loved the selection of cocktails and had a great time! Thank you!

The atmosphere was really cool in here, it's very much like a city bar. Even though it's not a cocktail bar the bar staff were really quick at preparing them and delivering them to our table. Highly recommend.

Love this place whenever I’m in Stratford always pop in and I’m never disappointed . The staff are always welcoming the food and drinks are great and not too pricey. Couldn’t ask for anything else it’s perfect 👍

Visited a couple of times during day at weekend. Ok sport bar nothing too novel and bar staff are so so on the friendly scale. Does not keep to advertised closing times. Closed early sat 14th before 12 instead of one. Poor

A good place to watch live sport with a good atmosphere the drinks and the food are good value. Please note this visit was in august 2018 not 2019 but it doesn't let me go that far back.

Went to eat and see some football. The place has alot of good TV but we was a little disappointed with the food.The burger was burned and the chips felt like they were bought from Mcdonalds next door.

Como habitual en su encarnación anterior, el Langthorne, escribo con cierta reserva. No es la misma experiencia de pub ruda y antigua de antaño, el Abbey Tap tiene una capa de pretensión que quizás sea aspiracional en lugar de cumplirse en este momento. Dicho esto, se ha beneficiado enormemente de un reacondicionamiento inteligente y una revisión del menú. La comida se siente un poco más de calidad que la experiencia anterior de Wetherspoons, aunque los precios también lo han reflejado.Este sigue siendo mi lugar favorito para ver fútbol: una multitud de pantallas hacen que sea fácil y agradable hacerlo, aunque si estás buscando una bebida tranquila y tranquila y no es un día de partido masivo, encontrarás el deporte bastante inofensivo y discreto. Este es un buen pub en Stratford.
