We were lucky enough to visit here on a recent weekend visit to Bath . It was our friends special birthday & as avid Bridgerton Fans we wanted to make sure that we could reserve something extra special for her so booked in advance . They took note of our, extensive list of allergies (which sadly another well-known establishment failed to do, see other reviews) The Madame Delacroix afternoon Tea did not disappoint , fresh , tasty , varied and most importantly catered for the allergies . The service was second to none , so friendly and accommodating , simply could not do enough for us . The location in the beautiful Abbey Green was lovely ,even non Bridgerton fans would love it , right next to the Abbey and of course the icing of the cake (no pun intended ) was eating in the Modiste's actual fitting room that was used in filming. Interestingly , they serve a very well-known companies pot of jam , which now living in the same village , I have eaten a few of their afternoon teas & have to say The Abbey Deli knocks spots off of anything I have had there for freshness , variety & service. Thank you so much for giving us such perfect memories . Will definitely return when next in the area.

Good value. Friendly staff. I had the chicken, ham, and leek pie with a salad and my wife had the feta, spinach and fill slice with a salad. Both were very good. Salad was large and fresh. Good coffee also. Highly recommended

First and foremost a must-see spot for any Bridgerton fans, where the Modiste was filmed, the Abbey Deli is the perfect cafe hideaway, tucked in a side-street near Bath Abbey. The exterior is bright and welcoming, in keeping with that of the friendly staff and homely decor. The atmosphere was very relaxed. With a wide variety of delicious cakes (the sticky toffee cake was incredible) and savoury options, the deli has something for everyone! I was only in the city for two days and visited the deli on both occasions. Love the Modiste merchandise range, fully recommend if you’re a fan - the character teas are delicious (I bought Queen Charlotte, an earl grey with notes of violet which was a nice surprise!) Thank you Abbey Deli team, hope to visit again!

Amazing afternoon tea at The Abbey Deli - it was utterly beautiful but also delicious !!! We couldn't believe the variety of cakes and sandwiches and all were so fresh and tasty. We couldn't finish it all and had to box up the remainder and take it home. The chef was on top of her game (we've eaten lots of afternoon tea in London) and the staff couldn't have been more friendly and helpful. 100% will be taking our next visitors to Bath back to the Abbey Deli. The setting is perfect - next to the Abbey & Roman Baths and a must visit for any fans of Bridgerton !

This is a great little deli/restaurant near the Roman Baths, but slightly hidden (GPS will guide you). We found the deli by accident while looking for a quick place to eat before reboarding our tour bus. The staff is super friendly and very accommodating given our limited time. The selection of baked items and meat pies is impressive and all very tasty. You can either "take away" or use their small dining area to eat, we elected to sit and enjoy the atmosphere. Prices are very reasonable, and service is outstanding. We highly recommend The Abbey Deli for a quick bite and a pleasant visit.

We were staying next door in Elton House and wanted a space for an extended family lunch and reunion. The Abby Deli team were very willing to help and provided us with a great venue. Food was great, staff were great and the Bridgerton fans were ecstatic. Thank you for all your help. It made our day.

Lovely homemade quiche and tasty selection of side salads, however quiches not as tasty as previous visits, due to reduction in cheeses used, sadly this made the quiche a bit bland, would rather pay a little more rather than lose out on flavour.

I had to go into Bath (Thursday 31st August) to have my phone sorted out. For some reason I felt really low about things. First of all I received wonderful service from the Apple store, even though I hadn't booked. Then I went seeking somewhere really nice for a coffee and perhaps something different than a generic breakfast, something healthier. Still feeling a bit low I looked at the Abbey Deli, walked past, and then walked back. Well, I couldn't have had a better welcome!!! A young woman with startling eyes first of all made me feel human. I had noticed salads mentioned outside, and asked about it. I was told they were not ready, but the guy said he could create one, and reeled off several. I must have just said yes, and leave it to him. Unbelievably I received everything he had said, and received an incredible salad. The salad reminded me of an amazing cafe years ago bottom of Milsom Street entered via a gift shop, much missed. Well, today I'm taking my wife into Bath to pick up my phone, and the next destination is Abbey Deli. A big thank you to all the staff, and the wonderful layout as well. The young woman was surprised I insisted on a 15% tip on my card when I paid up front, but I knew something special was going to happen and I was right! Thank you again, I really felt human again! warmest regards, Alan

Such a shame, this used to be a fantastic tucked away little eatery that we loved , but the rude, uninterested “too cool” staff have ruined it ! luckily they will always have new customers due to the huge influx of tourists Bath receives, i say luckily because if they had to rely on repeat customers theyd have gone out of business long ago.

We visited the deli before our Bridgerton tour We pre booked a cream tea for two which was 19.99 each and it was amazing Offered a box to take the rest home as we were full and no problem at all for unlimited drinks with the cream tea We were sat near the counter and so unfortunately we could hear the staff conversations This was the only part that we must say was not great! We heard the young lady serving and the man with a beard talking about two paying customers One conversation they were moaning about vegan customers as the lady was asking about different options available left to eat behind the counter shelf . Then an elderly lady who was asking for a table to be cleared and ordered slowly These two members of staff then talked to the other male worker about these two customers and was telling him to go around the corner to look Very unprofessional and rude ! I see other reviews from customers about this sort of thing was left on trip advisor in the past ! Shame as we really enjoyed the cream tea My husband did notice the man with the beard had a rude tone of voice at times to customers but was always polite to us

Lovely place but found it unfriendly and unwelcoming. Only interacted with a male member of staff who was dismissive and not particularly helpful. Food was thrown at us . No smile or enjoy your food . Basic lunch . Pasties and a handful of bagged salad (green leaves cost us £4) No goodbye or thanks as we left. I think if you're a regular they fawn over you but as a visitor to Bath did not find it welcoming. Wouldn't recommend or visit again sadly . Ps wasn't particularly busy when we were there so I won't accept that as a reason for no attention or Basic customer service

I'm a frequent visitor to bristol airport, as my partner travels for work, so I'm often there to wait for his flights to come in. Unfortunately, there are very few options for anywhere to sit while waiting, other than cafe ritazza. Because of this, the cafe area is always busy, and all the regular/normal seating is always taken, so I have to try get my 50+yo arthritic, short arse up one one of their many Eiffel tower height stools, and if that's not hard enough, the darn things also swivel! No wonder all the other seating is always taken, and all these 'make yourself look like an ungainly idiot' seats are always free in huge numbers. Please please please cafe ritazza, rethink your seating options. Not everyone is an 8ft tall gymnasts.

I’m a travelling Australian and got excited about some home-style food but this was so bad. The rice clumped together like it was days old, the kale was discoloured and the serving size was pitiful. Could have made something much better myself for far less than the £15 I paid for this and a mediocre chai. Service wasn’t even friendly. I’m only giving it 2 stars because I had a juice there a few days ago and it was pretty decent - otherwise it would have been a one. And - on the plus side it didn’t taste terrible but the rice was a bit suss.
