Thank you so much Abby and Will. The 10 cases never disappoint and that’s why we keep coming back after all those years. The food is delicious, the wine list is a treasure hunt and the service is the very best in London. There is no other restaurant I’d rather be on a Friday evening.

In my opinion one of the best wine bars in London. Really cute street in central London without it feeling like central London. Amazing food menu, knowledgable and very friendly (but not overly pushy) staff. Atmosphere is very cozy, and what I love is that it’s always full but never feels crowded. 5/5!

Buen vino, personal grosero.

Good wine, rude staff. Booked a table to meet a friend and we ordered a few glasses of wine followed by a -not cheap- bottle to share, on the recommendation of a friendly and knowledgeable waitress. We then ordered a coffee and a refill of water to take a break and discuss what was next (the plan was to order more wine and maybe food, we were trying to decide which first), when a waiter patronisingly informed us that "the tables are reserved for people who order wine, you know - not people who just get endless water refills", before briskly walking off. We were stunned! When he came back I did point out his comment was unnecessarily offensive considering the *wine* bill we'd racked up so far. He did apologise and took the coffees off the bill, but obviously we immediately paid, left, and took our wine money elsewhere (kind of regret leaving the gratuity in but the initial waitress did deserve it). There are plenty of well-stocked wine bars in London, I'll try one without the attitude next time.

(This review is for the wine bar only, haven't tried the Bistro yet!) I was introduced to 10 Cases by a friend who cited it as "her favourite wine bar London", she told me she started going after a friend of hers brought her along after saying the same thing 😂 True word of mouth marketing! Every visit I've made has always been filled with friendly (and knowledgable) staff, excellent wine suggestions (last time we went the lovely Morgan recommended some awesome aligoté), and absolutely delicious food. The wine bar tables do seem to be a little hard to come by for larger groups, but only because it's so popular. Great vibe and an awesome place to catch up over a glass - or bottle, i won't judge - of some quality wine!

No podemos esperar a volver.

Quoting my partner: This was the most uncomfortable birthday dinner of my life. We had to sit in an incredibly tight corner, so tight I could not move a leg or I would kick my partner sitting in front of me. We also had a shaky table, so we had to carefully measure every movement to be sure no glassware was falling on the floor. We left before dessert because we would have probably not been able to get out of the chairs with a full belly. Very VERY cold service with zero smiles or empathy - also failing with basic things like asking for the steak preference, so it arrived blue. And we’re not talking about a cheap place here! Ah, the wine was good - not that we ever saw the bottles. Very disappointed.

Went to this wine bar twice, despite the wine being good, the service could be better. On late weekend evening, my friend and I ordered a bottle of wine to share. We wanted to move from the table near the door entrance towards another table to sit more comfortably on chairs instead of stools when the place emptied out gradually. The waiter only offered the table at the corner at the entrance to the washrooms downstairs where there was clearly an empty 4 person table (we asked to move to the 4 person table but was refused). Later two customers came in and were offered the sit on the 4 person table. I can’t seem to wonder why there is a hint of unfair treatment.

Have been few times for dinner and lunch. Food is good. But the hostess/waitress attitude isn't acceptable. This last time were late and tried to contact the restaurant several times and no answer. When arrived I mentioned that I was late and if it would be possible to still have dinner, they say yes and pointed from the distance where was the table, when sitting on the table that I understood was mine, she came and shouted at us saying No! that's not the table for you because you arrived late! and moved me to the next table, I was shocked and embarrassed to be treated like that in front of other customers. In my eyes the tables were exactly the same didnt understand why the hate, and im happy to sit wherever is ok for the restaurant but if you aren't clear where exactly and just point out to one direction where is two empty tables don't treat me like that. If I was late I assure you it wasn't to make you angry, and if its fully booked for next customers you could've say no sorry and I would pay my penalty through Sevenrooms. But don't treat customers like you are doing us a favour, and don't take it personal if a costumer is late.

This is a great spot in Covent Garden. We were warmly welcomed and the 2 staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a Saturday at 1pm, and we were surprised to be the only customers, but it soon became quite busy. The starters were lovely, especially the gougères and the ham terrine. The main courses weren't quite so good: my pork collar wasn't tender (as I'd been promised) and my companion's fish wasn't quite cooked, but it wasn't serious enough to complain as the wine bar was now quite busy, and the staff jad been so pleasant. What I didn't like was that the 2 serving staff laughed about me and mocked me within earshot, albeit round a corner by the bar and out of sight. I felt humiliated and stupid for having asked for an English Breakfast tea to finish the meal. Please remember that there are customers who speak and understand French.

The servers could have been more professional regarding the wine knowledge and manners. We ordered one of each expensive wine and champagne, and the waiter had to google the wine information for us. After we ordered wine first, we wanted to order some food; the waiter seemed quite unpleasant and stared at me, complaining: “Can we have one moment?’ He rolled his eyes and came back with a very serious tone after three seconds. Maybe this restaurant needs more staff, but this experience was not ideal. Especially when he asked how good their food and experiences were to other customers but not for our table. The staff was utterly silent when we left (I am Asian). If you are looking for a place with good service and food, maybe this is not the first choice.

We’ve been to 10 Cases several times. This Tuesday evening we popped in for a quick meal before going to the Ballet. Dining room was empty with the exception of the two servers working that night. This was in the wine bar section. The welcome was lack lustre. And we ordered the Pork Collar. Server told us that it’ll take 20 minutes plus. Not a problem. Our wine arrived. Here are our issues… both servers were talking over our table and heads. One standing on the left. The other on the right. As if we were not there. Since order will take 20 minute plus… server should have asked if we wanted a bread basket. Instead… we had to ask. Their attitude was too casual to the point of being disinterested. I asked …” how is the Pork Collar?” He replied…” What do you mean?” Both servers didn’t bother to enquire about our meal or ask if we needed more wine. They clearly were not interested in the customers. Nor their jobs. A restaurant with this pricing should train staff better. Fortunately the Pork Collar was ok but platted in a rather small dish resembling a soup bowl! It’s pretty clear if we should visit again!

BAG STOLEN - I went to the wine bar with a friend and we were seated on a small table by the door. I was sat closest to the door and without our table being left unattended the whole evening, with me or my friend present at the table whilst one of us went to the bathroom, my small handbag was stolen from below my feet. Before being sat down, I had placed my belongings in one of the compartments of the furniture (bureau by the door holding menus), but was shortly asked to remove my items and instead find a place for them by my feet. Big mistake, this restaurant has a problem with stealing, like most of Covent Garden. Waiters told me they know the recurring offenders by face. Therefore, they should have assisted me by providing the CCTV footage, putting up a warning sign for guests seated close to the door, and finally by providing adequate space for belongings so that they are not strung across the floor under the table by your feet.

Lovely bright, small restaurant/wine bar conveniently located in Covent Garden. From our initial warm and genuinely friendly welcome, service was excellent throughout lunch. Very good menu, especially interesting starters. Not sure the cote du boeuf is worth the £75 for two sharing size wise, but it was tender and flavoursome, with delicious buttery and smooth garlic mash and a fine mushroom and tarragon sauce to accompany it. Our partners both enjoyed their lamb rump. The meal was completed with a well executed and not too sweet, treacle tart. Look out for the specials board which wasn’t pointed out to us. On this occasion it didn’t matter, but we would have liked to have seen the extra option.

Great wines of value at all price points, especially near the top. Food is surprisingly good even for a bistro, let alone a wine bar. This is better than noble rot.

If you are hankering for some tasty steak frites in central London, this little bistro is the place to be. The wine list is also interesting , and draws from all over the world. On the downside, it can get pretty crammed even on weeknights.

Friendly and attentive Australian waitress. Good bottle of wine. Food only OK and, although I love salt, cabbage and leeks far too salty. Anchovies (4!!) and toast were majorly over priced. Best thing we had were the chips. Cured turbot was chewy - much too thick. For £130 inc it wasn’t value for money.

Firstly, great service. Also, very good wine. I have had this restaurant on my "to go"list for ages. Sadly, I was disappointed by the food. Some good dishes: I enjoyed the artichoke and also the chips. The anchovies and toast were really good, but overpriced. The Ham Hock seemed a little too cold, and underseasoned. The cabbage and leeks were too salty, and I love salt. To repeat: the service was great.

This glorious pub is in the heart of Hampstead neighbourhood, surrounded by greenery and on a very narrow street that discourages cars to go fast (and even to enter!). Great for people watching, with the sun hitting your face until sunset - believe it’s set towards the South, which makes the evenings enjoyable outside on the terrace and sometimes on the curbside if it’s super busy. A bit of a wait for the bar, but really it’s so packed, give the staff some grace if you’re coming for a pint only - they work super hard!

Great pub - find your vibe in one of the many different seating areas. Railway paraphernalia abounds and they really set the scene for a decent pint of Fullers. I didn't eat there so can't comment on food. Some staff were attentive, providing table service. Bar staff were a bit stand-offish and preferred to chat with an ex-employee bout how they were planning to leave the job. I don't really like that when I'm trying to enjoy a pub and a pint, but perhaps it's not really that great for them.

We’ve been regulars at this pub for years and have always loved the warm atmosphere, friendly staff and, most of all, the steaks, which were absolutely brilliant. We stopped by this week, looking forward to having our usual, only to find out they’ve been taken off the menu. The food is still decent, and the service remains friendly, but the steaks were a real highlight and one of the main reasons we kept coming back. Without them, the menu feels like it’s missing something essential that used to make this place stand out. We’ll still visit now and then, but not with the same excitement as before. Hopefully the team will reconsider, loyal customers like us certainly miss them.
