Despite how busy the place was, everything was top notch. Our waitress was amazing...not a single flaw. Serious high five to our amazing waitress if she remembers our rather intensive work Xmas party...she was amazingly adaptive.

Great food, well priced wine in a lively setting. Everything I had was delicious and I tried half the menu. A great place to share dishes at. Wine by the glass is the way to go, everything is available by the glass. Can't do a long dinner, they need the table back for a second service.

I went to the 10 cases for dinner - the place is small but very cozy. We didn’t order a variety of foods from the menu but what we had was delicious. As starter we ordered padron peppers and as mains we had steak and frites - onglet cut (I think it’s different every night) smothered in peppercorn sauce. I would definitely come back to try more food but this was divine, so I highly recommend.

Wine for under £15 per glass is not that great at all, average only. Cheese board was basic, you can find better cheese in a store. Service is okay but after visiting bars they are not very generous. We stumbled across this great bistro letlagged and without a reservation. They were kind enough to seat us at the bar. The décor and sidewalk seating gave it a French café feel in the heart of London. 10 Cases is small, but boasts an impressive wine selection, with rotating wine and dinner offerings. The duck rillettes with cornichons were good, as was the pork terrine maison. Our main courses were Venison with carrot puree and roasted parsnips, and a great steak frites with peppercorn sauce. The service was great, and we we’re hurried.

Perfect wine bar in London. Dan the bar manager and wine buyer made our visit exceptional. We ordered a 1984 PEter LAuer Sekt. At first, we called the wine corked and sent it back. About 15 min later, Dan arrived and asked how our visit was going. We notified him that we sadly had to send back the LAuer. He then tasted the wine and indicated he felt differently. We discussed and retried the wine. At this point what we all thought was cork taint had blown off and the wine was drinking perfectly. Kudos to Dan for trying to salvage an amazing wine we all thought was done. Additionally, the food was amazing as were the other bottles of Champagne we had that afternoon. This place is a must visit. We cannot wait to return.

Quoting my partner: This was the most uncomfortable birthday dinner of my life. We had to sit in an incredibly tight corner, so tight I could not move a leg or I would kick my partner sitting in front of me. We also had a shaky table, so we had to carefully measure every movement to be sure no glassware was falling on the floor. We left before dessert because we would have probably not been able to get out of the chairs with a full belly. Very VERY cold service with zero smiles or empathy - also failing with basic things like asking for the steak preference, so it arrived blue. And we’re not talking about a cheap place here! Ah, the wine was good - not that we ever saw the bottles. Very disappointed.

Quality of food and wine is good but tourists should be careful for a high service charge above the average. They put 20% service charge as a default even they didn’t provide or ask any other options I could take. And also they put a cover charge for each person. Went to this wine bar twice, despite the wine being good, the service could be better. On late weekend evening, my friend and I ordered a bottle of wine to share. We wanted to move from the table near the door entrance towards another table to sit more comfortably on chairs instead of stools when the place emptied out gradually. The waiter only offered the table at the corner at the entrance to the washrooms downstairs where there was clearly an empty 4 person table (we asked to move to the 4 person table but was refused). Later two customers came in and were offered the sit on the 4 person table. I can’t seem to wonder why there is a hint of unfair treatment.

Have been few times for dinner and lunch. Food is good. But the hostess/waitress attitude isn't acceptable. This last time were late and tried to contact the restaurant several times and no answer. When arrived I mentioned that I was late and if it would be possible to still have dinner, they say yes and pointed from the distance where was the table, when sitting on the table that I understood was mine, she came and shouted at us saying No! that's not the table for you because you arrived late! and moved me to the next table, I was shocked and embarrassed to be treated like that in front of other customers. In my eyes the tables were exactly the same didnt understand why the hate, and im happy to sit wherever is ok for the restaurant but if you aren't clear where exactly and just point out to one direction where is two empty tables don't treat me like that. If I was late I assure you it wasn't to make you angry, and if its fully booked for next customers you could've say no sorry and I would pay my penalty through Sevenrooms. But don't treat customers like you are doing us a favour, and don't take it personal if a costumer is late.

This is a great spot in Covent Garden. We were warmly welcomed and the 2 staff were very friendly and helpful. It was a Saturday at 1pm, and we were surprised to be the only customers, but it soon became quite busy. The starters were lovely, especially the gougères and the ham terrine. The main courses weren't quite so good: my pork collar wasn't tender (as I'd been promised) and my companion's fish wasn't quite cooked, but it wasn't serious enough to complain as the wine bar was now quite busy, and the staff jad been so pleasant. What I didn't like was that the 2 serving staff laughed about me and mocked me within earshot, albeit round a corner by the bar and out of sight. I felt humiliated and stupid for having asked for an English Breakfast tea to finish the meal. Please remember that there are customers who speak and understand French.

The servers could have been more professional regarding the wine knowledge and manners. We ordered one of each expensive wine and champagne, and the waiter had to google the wine information for us. After we ordered wine first, we wanted to order some food; the waiter seemed quite unpleasant and stared at me, complaining: “Can we have one moment?’ He rolled his eyes and came back with a very serious tone after three seconds. Maybe this restaurant needs more staff, but this experience was not ideal. Especially when he asked how good their food and experiences were to other customers but not for our table. The staff was utterly silent when we left (I am Asian). If you are looking for a place with good service and food, maybe this is not the first choice.

We’ve been to 10 Cases several times. This Tuesday evening we popped in for a quick meal before going to the Ballet. Dining room was empty with the exception of the two servers working that night. This was in the wine bar section. The welcome was lack lustre. And we ordered the Pork Collar. Server told us that it’ll take 20 minutes plus. Not a problem. Our wine arrived. Here are our issues… both servers were talking over our table and heads. One standing on the left. The other on the right. As if we were not there. Since order will take 20 minute plus… server should have asked if we wanted a bread basket. Instead… we had to ask. Their attitude was too casual to the point of being disinterested. I asked …” how is the Pork Collar?” He replied…” What do you mean?” Both servers didn’t bother to enquire about our meal or ask if we needed more wine. They clearly were not interested in the customers. Nor their jobs. A restaurant with this pricing should train staff better. Fortunately the Pork Collar was ok but platted in a rather small dish resembling a soup bowl! It’s pretty clear if we should visit again!

BAG STOLEN - I went to the wine bar with a friend and we were seated on a small table by the door. I was sat closest to the door and without our table being left unattended the whole evening, with me or my friend present at the table whilst one of us went to the bathroom, my small handbag was stolen from below my feet. Before being sat down, I had placed my belongings in one of the compartments of the furniture (bureau by the door holding menus), but was shortly asked to remove my items and instead find a place for them by my feet. Big mistake, this restaurant has a problem with stealing, like most of Covent Garden. Waiters told me they know the recurring offenders by face. Therefore, they should have assisted me by providing the CCTV footage, putting up a warning sign for guests seated close to the door, and finally by providing adequate space for belongings so that they are not strung across the floor under the table by your feet.

Lovely bright, small restaurant/wine bar conveniently located in Covent Garden. From our initial warm and genuinely friendly welcome, service was excellent throughout lunch. Very good menu, especially interesting starters. Not sure the cote du boeuf is worth the £75 for two sharing size wise, but it was tender and flavoursome, with delicious buttery and smooth garlic mash and a fine mushroom and tarragon sauce to accompany it. Our partners both enjoyed their lamb rump. The meal was completed with a well executed and not too sweet, treacle tart. Look out for the specials board which wasn’t pointed out to us. On this occasion it didn’t matter, but we would have liked to have seen the extra option.

I came here with a friend, and I must say the service was appalling. Our waiter was very rude. I ordered a coke because I do not drink alcohol and he was visibly annoyed at that. Then my friend arrived, and I was going to order another one but he said you have to order a glass of wine. Of course his tone wasn’t serious, he was joking, but it was still very bold for a waiter to say. Some of us don’t drink alcohol, be it for religious reasons or others. We were there for about 3 hours, our bill came to about £20. After a while, the waiter came by and shoved the card machine on the table, expecting us to pay. We said we wanted to calculate the split so he walked off in a huff and then came back a while later and we paid. He was obviously annoyed that we were ignoring his not-so-subtle attempts for us to leave. A while later he came back in a huff and said, ‘Girls if you want to stay here you need to order a glass of wine, you’ve been here for ages’. I said to him we’ve already spent money here and I kid you not he said, ‘you’ve spent £20 that’s nothing, the business isn’t going to survive on that’. What kind of business are you running here where a waiter is allowed to make such a stupid comment like that? Did he think that he could ‘shame’ us into spending money there? I would completely understand if there was someone outside waiting for our table but there wasn’t. We were costing this establishment nothing just by sitting there, nobody was waiting to come in a spend any more money. If your business is failing the onus is hardly on the customer to pay more, perhaps you should consider how to get more customers in the door or you should look to the service you’re providing. This waiter was such a bully and had aggressive vibes from the moment we arrived. We promptly left, there’s no reason for us to spend more of our money on such a place. Avoid this establishment.

It’s a small, intimate spot, not overrun by tourists, and thankfully, there’s no need for month-ahead reservations. The menu offers a delightful selection of English and European dishes, each perfectly complementing their excellent range of wines. The ambiance strikes the perfect balance between relaxed and sophisticated, creating a truly inviting atmosphere. Tonight, I had the pleasure of trying the venison from their dinner menu, and it was spectacular. Every dish here seems carefully crafted to enhance the wine-tasting experience. And for dessert, I chose the cheese selection - an exquisite array of all English cheeses that was simply divine. The staff here are attentive and knowledgeable, adding significantly to the overall wonderful experience.

Went for drinks and dinner. The food was good but the venison was underwhelming. But the fish was so delicious I’m sure it’s more a matter of personal preference here. Service was impeccable, and we appreciate they went to a very loud table to ask them to be more quiet. It’s a very tiny space so it gets very noisy and crowded. On the expensive side but would come back still and try the duck which was out of stock!

I will never step foot in this restaurant again. It was a full house tonight with multiple 4 tops all having a nice time. We were 4 women who came for a nice dinner and to catch up over a bottle of wine, no one was drunk and certainly none of us were boisterous. The waitress (short blonde hair in a small bun) came over to us twice telling us to keep the noise level down. This was absolutely outrageous considering the volume in the small restaurant and the fact that we were speaking to one another in very civilised tones. She then threatened to remove us from the restaurant for using poor language. The table next to us couldn’t believe that we had been spoken to. ABSOLUTELY RIDICULOUS!

A lovely French bistrot, never going wrong with the cheese & meat platter or the steak & frites, wine list is changing but always delivering!

This is probably the best place that I have ever been to have a great wine! The atmosphere was stunning and the customer service outstanding. Also the only place that you can stay long without being kicked out because of closing times. Absolutely loved it. Didn’t have any food but for sure will have next time.

Really nice setting. Large range of wines. Bit pricey but that's normal for central London these days.

It’s cool. Nice concept. Drank a lovely bottle of assyrikto. I wish they had more wines by the glass available. But apparently they had some written on a board?

Sad to be writing this review as my last experience at 10 cases (the restaurant) couldn’t have been better. We went to the bar next door last night and were presented with two very rude and pretentious waiters who seemingly had an attitude with us the whole night. One was in fact so rude that he drove us out of the bar after refusing to let us wait for our third party before ordering a second glass. Maybe they were having a bad day but to save yourself the risk please instead go to the restaurant and sit by the counter. The lovely bar staff will give you a great experience.

I had an especially excellent experience here! My first time trying Itsu, and I didn’t know how it worked or what to order. Raazi went above and beyond by helping me to customise my order to my needs! I didn’t know how the self service worked and also had dietary preferences with which he assisted me with no hesitation! Great service thank you :)

This is such a beautiful hotel, the interior is so beautiful and the Christmas decorations were amazing. Although we only stayed for one night it was an amazing experience, the staff made us feel very special. They were all so friendly and welcoming. We will be back
