Nice food but overpriced for a few pancakes it's a Rob. Service charge and very expensive for what you get. I know it's London but it's pancakes.

It’s good and nicely presented. Lots of mini supplements, so the bill adds up quickly 😅😅 But the place is nice and the service friendly.

Friendly staff and pleasant atmosphere. Great for a meal with kids. Both my 3yo and 8yo were very pleased.

Huge variety of pancakes. The ones we ordered were tasty and we were so full we could only regret we weren't able to order and try more! Will definitely return at next visit to the British Museum.

After a few attempts I update. The My Old Dutch was ok, but for me the Amsterdam was the best: apple, bacon and maple syrup, just like in Amsterdam. The hot dutch was also good, but be careful that the jalapeños are spicy. Kaseballen almost better than in Amsterdam (fried cheese balls). Every Monday, discounted price for most classic pancakes. (Pancake Monday). Various options for gluten free, veg and dairy free. The sweet section is yet to be tried. For Italians and Japanese, this is not a crepe or an American pancake. They are Dutch pancakes, they are made thin on purpose これはクレープじゃなくて、普通にオランダで食べている名物のパンケーキです。

They didn't observe the "PANCAKE POWER" codeword that I gave them upon entry and take off 20%.

Cosy and cheerful place with fab decor and tasty treats! We spent a chilled couple of hours here for brunch. Service was brilliant. Atmosphere was good and the food was filling and tasty.

Never tried the savoury optipn but I enjoyed my gluten free and vegan pancake (crepe style) with fruit and syrup. And a large pot of green tea which went down a treat!

This is a pancake shop I found by chance. The clerks, Vllazim & Ionut, were friendly. My old Dutch pancakes were good. It was crepe style.

I was passing by and there were a lot of people so I went in and it was unique and delicious. The service from Vllaznim&Ionut was also great!

I had My Old Dutch and Vegan Berry Blah, and 'My Old Dutch' was really delicious! It’s great to eat with chili sauce and Tabasco sauce! Vllaznim & Ionut who provided service were really friendly, which made it even better! 🙂

Very nice service here. Due to my celiac disease, I have to eat gluten-free and the waiter was very helpful with what I could and could not eat and how to make certain combinations so it was safe for me to eat

I had such a wonderful experience at The Old Dutch thanks to Ionut. They were incredibly attentive, friendly, and made me feel so welcome from the moment I arrived. They went above and beyond to ensure everything was perfect, offering great recommendations and checking in to make sure I had everything I needed. Ionut also offered to take a picture for me and my friend. The service truly made my visit memorable, and I can’t wait to return. Thank you for such a fantastic dining experience!

The service was very bad. It was my first visit to this cafe. Didn't expect it to be like that. The waiter who took my order was very ignorant and unwelcoming. In my opinion before opening a business in hospitality sector people should learn the meaning of hospitality first.

As a Dutch person, this was the worst pancake I've had. Undercooked batter, burned bacon and apple slices. We also had the poffertjes and I'm pretty sure they were store bought, way too dry and served almost cold. I can't recommend eating here.

The pancake was really fresh and had a nice evenly spread topping, whilst the chips were hot and crisp. My favourite was the pudding, I had the butterscotch pancakes which came with a big pat of butter and plenty of maple syrup. Friendly service and nice ambiance.

The service was disappointing, While the pancakes were excellent. We made a reservation in advance, aware of how busy the restaurant can get, yet we were seated at the least desirable table. When we requested to be moved, a young gentleman informed us that a large booking was expected, yet we observed tables for four being given to just two guests. We chose to refuse to pay the service charge, but no one inquired about the reason for our decision. Upon leaving, we were not even told goodbye, and the staff turned their backs to us. Although we enjoyed the food, the overall experience was unfortunately marred by the poor service.

Good - the milkshake was ok Bad - everything else. The service was dire. The wrong food was ordered for me. When the right order came it was nasty. Pancake was raw tasting and very undercooked. Very low quality meat and cheese. Honestly, when I saw food coming out so quickly, I should have expected bad things. It was far below my expectations. Disgusting. Avoid.

Great food and surprisingly short wait time, would definitely recommend the "Make your own", cheese balls, chilli fries and gougons. Nice staff, but it was slightly loud, probably because it was quite busy. I would recommend going before the lunch rush.

Amazing food for the whole family. Also nice romantic messages for dates! We had savoury bacon and salmon options and also tried the poffertjes with lemon (mini pancakes)- incredible. The last time we came was 26 years ago and it’s as good as ever. Honestly. Great friendly atmosphere. Best to book ahead. Only marred by the cheap repetitive euro-pop music.

Hemos estado volviendo a mi antiguo holandés durante más de 30 años, atrás quedaron los días de los viejos platos pesados de China y la buena calidad de la comida a un precio razonable. Ahora reemplazado con platos de plástico baratos y lugar de estilo café con asientos duros. Durante mi última visita, estaba tan decepcionado con la comida, que no era nada atractivo. Teniendo en cuenta que tomó años primero, para obtener nuestro pedido en, en segundo lugar, la comida servida caliente, cubiertos tirados en el medio de la mesa, tratando de llamar al camarero para la cuenta fue una broma cuando llegó había cargo por servicio que realmente creo que no merecía de ello, pero añadido de todos modos. En general, la comida servida caliente, sobrepreciosa y un servicio terrible. No voy a volver.

My Old Dutch has a really nice aesthetic. The pancakes are also delicious and the service is prompt. However their eggs taste awful. I asked for scrambled eggs and what came was something with the consistency of food that was cooked a while back and left to sit.

I’ve been here twice and loved it both times! The place clearly has history and the pancakes are very fresh and delicious, I ordered two! They were also very accommodating with my specific order. I like the design a lot but the only thing I didn’t like was the TV screen, I think it lets the place down and makes it feel a tad cheap. Other than that I love it and can’t wait to go back

Haven't been to Old Dutch for a very long time, and I must say our visit was lovely. The food was delicious and the fact there was a 2-4-1 deal made the bill much lighter!

We booked the table online and they were very punctual. The breakfast was very good, we took the classic pancakes (i.e. a large pancake that almost looks like a slightly larger crepe). However, the menu is very varied and ranges from sweet to savory. Try the Pumpkin spice Latte in autumn/winter!

Wonderful experience…staff was really friendly and great customer service, had an amazing time today. Also, a nice gesture by the Head Chef,Karu. Highly recommended!

They do their strawberry milkshakes right!

Ocupada y gran casa de panqueques en Holborn. Tenía una mesa reservada, el piso superior ya estaba lleno. Personal amable. Aunque no tenía una tortita, podía ver que eran enormes con una enorme opción de coberturas. Tuve gofre con cobertura salada que estaba bien. Precios bastante altos por lo que consigues, pero supongo que estás en Londres.

The place is pretty. The service is good, they are friendly but the eggs and bacon need work. Cold, old hard eggs. And the bacon isn’t crispy. Coffees weren’t good not even the pumpkin spiced. Pancakes were good.

I came here on a Tuesday with three other friends, making it a table of 4. Halfway my seafood savoury pancake, I felt like I was grinding something really hard between my teeth and when I took it out of my mouth it looked like a staple!!!! I digged through the pancake and 2 more metallic bits were there! I felt mortified for them, but actually there was no need, because I told a staff member and they couldn't care less. I didn't eat anything else, I wasn't offered a new pancake, nor a complimented half pancake, so I paid my share and promised to myself to NEVER return.

They call them pancakes, however, they're more like crepes. Absolutely delicious! We shared 3 for 5 of us and it was plenty of food. Reasonable prices for London (not the rest of the world). The staff were exceptional!

Delicious pancakes and great friendly service. The pancake portions are big and have a great amount of sides/ filling. The atmosphere and the decor is great. They havemade an effort on that area aswell. Both my spouse and I enjoyed the pancakes and would recommend visiting this place if you have the chance. The kinder bueno milkshake weas authentic and delicious too.

Swanky and nice pancake place which we've always wanted to try in the area. Whilst the pancakes we ordered were fluffy, tender, delicious and freshly prepared, we thought the staff came across a bit cold and could be more warm, accommodating and personable (we were deciding what to order and the server didn't seem too friendly from the wait). Nonethelees, we enjoyed our light, sweet treat topup but would've appreciated better customer service.

Staff didn't seem too excited about anything really, the atmosphere isn't great, the place tries to be something between an American diner and some trendy place but doesn't really achieve anything of that. The food on the other hand is really good. Vegan options are plenty, the sweet ones are great. the savory options have the downside of there not being tasty vegan cheese at all, but that in mind they're great.

Abel MacGregor aka mac manix dj or dj abel.... went to the my old Dutch earlier this year the food was rubbish it was like party food my vegan crêpe was very tasteless my milkshake was too thick chicken wings starter tasted like very bad KFC please sort it out this is not how it used to taste before Covid after Covid it's got worse too expensive and tasteless I have tried this and other places around the UK and they taste better nice staff that served me but terrible chef And tasteless ingredients It was like having a large cheese on toast I would've enjoyed that if it was what it was

Wonderful classic pancakes 🥞 can’t go wrong 😊

I was going for a waffle but I saw a pancake being served and I craved it. It tastes good, the size is more than correct. But the price is quite expensive, it was €22 in total adding 2 fruits and they even charge for an optional service (which is NOTHING optional) since they integrate it into the bill and give you the dataphone so you can pay without much choice.

Taste was zero! Had to add lots of salt and pepper to be able to eat this dish.

Stopped in here for a quick brunch before visiting the British Museum. Tried the smoked salmon and scrambled egg pancakes as well as the Eggs Florentine with smoked salmon pancakes. Really impressive portion size with generous helpings of eggs and smoked salmon. The pancakes were delicious. I can’t wait to come back and try some more options. I also tried the autumn specials - Gingerbread Latte and Pumpkin Spice Latte, and they left me feeling so warm and cozy on a cold, cold morning.

Really lovely experience. I take the boys here as a reward for doing well at school. They went out of their way to make it a special experience for us and even giving us a lovely special table really wowing the boys. Great pancakes and super service. Thank you. The restaurant is cute, and the buttermilk pancakes are great. However, the crepes are quite awful, undercooked and too thick. The ham and cheese crepe has barely any ham, and the cheese is flavourless. It is like eating plastic. You can tell the ingredients aren’t of good quality. It pains me, especially as a French person.

The food was nice. The pancakes were not what I thought they would be but they tasted really nice. The ambiance was amazing!

I came here for a birthday party. Positively, the service was attentive and friendly. The food itself was overpriced and tasted okay. I ordered the salmon and mushroom pancake which was risky given how tempting the sweet options were. The pancake tasted good but there was almost a packet of mushrooms in there. I would have preferred lower prices and more reasonable portion size. If you are looking for a really big pancake, you will get it here, I’m just not sure it is worth every bite.

Haven’t been here for over 10 years and boy have I missed this place food qualities the same and the service is still 10/10 can’t believe I wanted 10years to go back
