Typical Spoons, older guys having their pints early in the morning! We had breakfast, a breakfast muffin and breakfast wrap, tasty and good portions, arrived in a reasonable time. Hot chocolate/coffee with free refills. Friendly staff.

Terrible staff. They have horrible attitude and don’t pay any attention to the customers. Plus, their portions for fries with burgers or fish and chips is tiny.

Be very careful about this pub, the bar staff and managers steal peoples bags and take wallets out. Avoid at all cost.Lots of other Wetherspoons in central that are much better with good management team who are professionals and not thieves within their company.

Visited on a weekday, around 18:00. Plenty of seating, local pub atmosphere. Good staff who dealt admirably with some crazy visitors. Ordered a few pints of Abbot ale and a mixed grill; both good, huge plate of food. Middle of the pub is taken up by slot machines.

Tasty breakfast served by friendly staff in a clean environment. However the toilets need to be kept clean & smelling fresh ! Diluted my shot with pintfull of orange juice, couldn’t get tipsy, didn’t feel warm. Had too much orange juice and couldn’t get tipsy anymore. Couldn’t have fun time with my boyfriend. Ask before order drinks!!!!!!! Chicken wings was good

Not a bad place but not really enough tables and also the table next to us had some vomit on the floor which was left there all night, also the manager complained at me for using the accessible toilet saying "That toilet is for people who can't walk" and decided to keep discriminating and threatened to have me bared. Manager then kept looking for an argument and then snatched a drink off someone who was still drinking very aggressively.

I visit this pub once a week for breakfast absolutely out of this world , traditional breakfast I change the bacon for a sausage no drama or extra money and a refillable hot drink £4:18 omg value for money or what , butter is Lurpack and all sauces HP or Heinz’s. The staff our so friendly and kind , very welcoming .

I'm still enjoying this place in January 2025. Great food and friendly service on a Sunday morning. I've been coming here for more than 15 years and it's always pleasant. There are several cheery foreign ladies who work and serve the food who are all pleasant. Great place to have a slow breakfast on a Sunday morning.

very, very cozy pub with really good prices for London. Large menu for all kinds of food and drinks. It's best to order online with the table number, it's quick and easy. Or order directly at the counter, as there is no service at the table like in Germany. Payment online via PayPal or credit card. There is also a bar at the counter. Everyone is very friendly and helpful. Really recommended

It's pretty good for a spoons, staff do their best to keep up with the fast pace and remain friendly and polite. Can get very busy during the weekend and often have to get in early to find a table.

Scarey people go in this pub Right out of oliver twist Fagin would not be out of place here! Price of a pint of corona £4.20 but if you have the managers special, ham egg & chips it's £3.44 ???? With a pint!!! You do the maths !

My first time and I was pleasantly surprised how friendly the staff are and the layout is spacious. It's unpleasant having to go through the smokers at the tables out front that's all.

We had a school reunion with 9 old pupils from St Georges from the 60's

Decent pub, staff were nice, breakfast was good,dinner was also good. We went for the 3 small plates which were halloumi sticks, cheesy chips and chicken tenders. They were all decent and service was quick despite it being a busy Sunday evening. Could definitely do with more chips for the burger, portion was very small.

Only reason I’m giving it lower stars is there is no internet connection (Wetherspoons default cloud WiFi did not work and the workers had no idea why there is no internet). I went for the vegetarian breakfast (3.1£) during my 1-week holiday stay in London. It was cheap and good, great value-for-money deal. The breakfast options are till 12, so when I woke late, I would get the vegetarian all day brunch (4.5£) (again, not tasty food but great for a value for money deal!)

Very bad services provided by the staff. They are not able to read a foreign ID to confirm that we are not underage. After 15 minutes of waiting to confirm that we can stay, we are informed that the kitchen is closed. PS: inside of the restaurant it smells like old granny’s wardrobe.

Nice local pub with friendly staff 👍

Wanted to treat a vulnerable friend to a coffee, we paid for this but coffee was not available on the machine the female who sold us the coffee did not want to k ow and when someone came to help they were more interested in refu ding us for the coffee than in refilling the machine.. except he then tried to refund for one coffee and not made to feel welcome, a vulnerable friend was profoundly upset. And the staff had no excuse for the machine not working as the pub was quiet for a morning. The Beaten Docket needs staff who want to sell food and drink without bad attitude.

Discovered by surprise, very nice staff, the place to have a good time. It was worth all the time we spent there for several days. Both for lunch or dinner, and for having a good drink. Highly recommended prices

This place is delightful! I came in at 10.30am on a Tue, this morning, and it was a great surprise. I imagined an empty, uninviting place as this stretch of road is not attractive this early, but the pub is large and cosy at the same time, gives me a very clean impression, is brimming with people. A happy vibe. I wish I lived closer! The staff are really warm and friendly. So far my favourite pub in London! I just came for a coffee, and their coffee is good, too! 👍

I came to this pub for the first time on Sunday as I had visitors and wanted to find somewhere where we could have a drink and meal. The food prices were really reasonable and the food tasted really nice and with each order you were given a free drink. If you are driving to this place then it's best to go on a Sunday as there is free parking , otherwise the whole area is permit / paid parking from Monday - Saturday. The best thing about this pub is that we didn't need to book to have a meal

Hasn't changed much since I ended a ten year stretch as a technology technician and a governor at Hampstead school on Westbere Rd in '94. I mean : some of the faces still looked familiar. But maybe that's Mr T Martin's doing or even policy . Ooo Nose? Generally a grand place tho' obvs benefitting from sad closure of several large traditional Irish pubs/hotels in the area .

Went to watch Euro 2024 with son and godson. Everything was great BUT the TV is tiny! Food and service kept us there and the atmosphere but two other places within 5 mins have big screens, would have expected better from Wetherspoons.

Went to watch England v Netherlands with my son and godson, enjoyed great food (nice varied menu too). BUT the TV is so small! Hard to see what was happening... within 5 mins were two other bars with giant TVs, come on Wetherspoons surely you can do better!

This place is my go to every week!! I always come by with my partner for a meal, staff is super kind and the food is great. Prices are one of my fav parts about it too 😌❤️✨ I love the Lemon and Herb half chicken, Burrito Salad with extra grilled halloumi, and the Mixed Grill! For dessert, Chocolate Brownie is yum, also the Cookie Dough. If you have a big group of people coming, let them know in advance xx One personal opinion, for the game livestreams, maybe invest on a bigger projector? I was treated like a nobody . Asked an Irish lady (HA) "(lady)" where the sweetener was , shown a bowl with some liquid in it and it was so much bother to this woman to show me . And when another forign lady pointed out the whole bowl had a mixture in it , and sweetener couldn't be seen . I wonder was she the culprit covering her tracks .

Saturday night, very busy and inadequately staffed! Tables filthy, not cleaned and glasses not collected. One female staff member behind the bar clearly heard looking for missing staff to serve customers. One section of the large bar not in operation I assume due to inadequate staffing? Clearly poorly managed establishment.

Amazing pub with perfect service. The ribeye steak was soooo good, I was about to cry. The prices are crazy cheap. 100% RECOMMEND!!! Would come here everyday if I’d live in London.

Went here before a match at Wembley. Started with a large breakfast which was spot on. Beer prices are like being up north and the staff were friendly and accommodating. A great 'spoons.

Ate twice at The Beaten Docket. Had breakfast once and lunch another day. The food was good, as is expected from a Wetherspoon establishment. The prices were good as well as the staff. Will be going again at least a couple more times while I’m here.

Disappointed they don't do a Sunday Roast lunch

Had breakfast & that was the worst iv ever had the bacon was just fat Toast was not even toasted ! 😕 The money I spent on this I could off gone McDonald's too mins away that would off been better. Never coming back here again for breakfast a very big let down.

Fantastic, atmospheric pub! The service was impeccable, the food was very good and at amazing prices for London. Fish and chips are very tasty, the large breakfast defeated me, I suggest taking the traditional one, unless someone is very hungry. I recommend this place!!!

Another Wetherspoons I've been to, however not reviewed previous. A medium sized branch situated on Cricklewood High St. About ten minutes walk from the train station. The pub was fairly busy upon arrival. It is a Wetherspoons of the old style, with wood paneling interior Ordered the new 10" Southern Fried Chicken wrap and a pint of Strongbow Dark Fruits (it has been a warm day!) The drink arrived with a few minutes of ordering. Food arrived in about 12 minutes of ordering. The portion is slightly smaller than a usual wrap and this is reflected in the cheaper priceof £6.94 Although you still get two southern fried chicken Goujons in the wrap. Only gripe with food is that the chips were lukewarm. Worth a visit if in the area and don't want to spend a fortune.

Ordered a hot chocolate, the machine was out , politely asked them if they could refill it, they said they will . Came back after 15 mins , it was still empty, asked if they can refill it as that's the only drink I could have there. They told me it's not their priority and don't want to change it now and other customers are more important in terms of service. Waited an hour still no one topped it up . I had to leave after that and didn't even get to have a hot chocolate that I paid for. HORIBLE SERVICE, wouldn't recommend this place

I'm not a weatherspoons person but my friend who's European loves these places, like alot do, because of the cheap prices. It made me chuckle because the meat burger with trimmings was £6 something.... the same, but Vegetarian, was about £10 more so that shot him (us) in the foot. We were getting penalised for not wanting to eat an animal that's been killed. The food wasn't cheap if you don't eat meat. Its worn, rough and ready. Drunks are allowed to be served, even though it's illegal, (and there were many) but dogs are not allowed inside or outside, even though my dog is both cleaner than the venue and alot of the people there. We came for a cheap lunch and we left having spent over £30 for a burger and soft drink, in an environment that didn't match the price we paid. I personally cannot find a situation that this place is an option for me to visit but I guess if cheap beer is your only requirement then you are onto a winner

My parents took our 2 little dogs to this pub and my Mum sat waiting outside while my Dad went inside to get drinks - a waitress came out and went "GO" with a shoo-ing hand motion very rudely and loudly to her - that's it, with no other explanation etc, so my mother explained that her husband was inside to order, she wasn't just sitting there for free. Anyway, my Dad said the same woman came inside to tell him "Go, dog no allowed, you go" quite aggressively. It would have been better if the waitress had just explained *NORMALLY* and nicely that this pub does not allow dogs in, rather than being all rude and loud, making my parents mildly embarrassed. The waitress didn't speak English very well so maybe that was a barrier, but honestly there was just no need to be shouting or being rude

Wetherspoon's got it dead right with the design of The Beaten Docket. It has lots of cosy corners and comfortable booths that offer a degree of seclusion. I find this relaxing, whereas with some of the pubs in the chain they've opened more recently they've gone for an open, barn-like layout, which means in those places there's no cosiness anymore and lots of noise.

You can really feel the London atmosphere, a varied choice of beers, several of which are artisanal. Good food for the price. Advised!

A group of my friends had a wonderful dinner and the staff were so accommodating.

Ate dinner here today with my daughter. Got a meal deal which is a main, side and a drink. Very reasonable priced, good food and sizeable portions. Drinks are very cheap too. Will definitely be eating here again soon.
