We have visited this restaurant a number of times . You are always welcomed warmly and all the team are so attentive. The decor is lovely and traditional. The food is outstanding and probably one of the best Thai restaurants I have been to. If you don't know what to order ask them and they happily suggest. I recommend this jewel in Caterham high st

We had a great meal here both on our 1st visit and on our most recent one. The quality of food and presentation is excellent. The staff were all friendly and welcoming. We'll not hesitate to return at a later date - this is sure to be a regular spot for us.

Staff friendly, food, not as good as last time, service sluggish, but put this down to a large table. The owner/manager comes across as brash and cocky. We left £4 on a £40 bill and asked if we could add an extra £2 she snidely laughed and said forget it it’s not worth it, it will cost me more in tax. OK. We will not be returning! Very rude

We love this restaurant! I've been taking my 90 year old parents here for lunch regularly since lockdown finished and we all love it (which is saying something as my dad's really difficult to please!). There's a fabulous lunchtime set menu which is 2 courses for £13.50, or £15.00 with a soft drink I think (we always have the coffee, which is really good). The variety on it is really good, and a la carte is available too. The service is so friendly and Sally is really helpful. My dad is in a wheelchair and mum has constant back pain. Sally always opens the doors wide so we can get the chair in easily, and offers mum a cushion for comfort. There's also a disabled parking bay just outside which is brilliant! The food is great, and really good value too. We shall definitely keep returning.

I cannot speak highly enough about Bua Thai restaurant. I went with my wife on Valentine's Day, and, from the moment we stepped in, everything was perfect. We received a very warm welcome from the owner, we're promptly shown to our table and our waitress came very quickly for our drinks order. The place is decorated in a typically Thai style and there was a really nice ambience, probably helped by the fact it was fully booked. The food was plentiful and absolutely delicious and the prices were very reasonable. Service was attentive but not over-bearing and there were some very nice little touches relevant to the day. It's all too easy to forget about the smaller restaurants on your doorstep and, in the past, we have certainly travelled miles to a restaurant that hasn't been half as good as this one. There is no question now, when we fancy Thai food, this is where we'll be heading.

We booked a table for 5 friends for dinner. The restaurant looks good, feels inviting and doesn't have cramped tables. I love Thai food and can honestly say this is the best Thai meal I have had in a long time. We ordered the 2 set meals. The food was abundant and every dish delicious .

This restaurant has gone massively downhill since it has been taken over by new owners. This is the second time they have got my order wrong for a takeaway. I even read it back to them on the phone having experienced similar the last time I used them. Because they don't deliver it is such a pain having to wait another 15 mins before returning to pick up missed items.....and they had the cheek to charge for it! Order a take away at your peril ....

This local Thai restaurant is a true gem and serves authentic and freshly cooked food in a characterful, cosy ambiance. The quality of the ingredients used shines through and the starters and mains were all delicious. Plenty of choice on the drinks front too. Excellent value and the owners seem friendly and eager to please.

This was our 1st visit to the restaurant last night and the 1st time my mother had ever tried Thai food. Fantastic service and very helpful explaining the menu to us. The food was so nice and very tasty, portion size was very good too. Would highly recommend this restaurant and we look forward to going there again.

What a lovely past lockdown treat… mixed starters were hot and crispy and delicious… Thai red curry and pad Thai were winners… especially accompanied by some cold Pinot Grigio… pleasant and efficient service… definitely returning soon 👍
