Great food, especially a perfectly cooked duck dish; I always think the way duck and fish are cooked tells a lot about the overall food quality. We’ll definitely be going again!

Great food, friendly staff and nice decor.

WOW! The food here is exceptional. We had the sharing starter and then duck and lamb mains. The food was absolutely gorgeous, so tasty, flavourful and delicious. So much so that I am writing this review whilst still being at the restaurant. The service was second to none, very attentive without imposing on your evening. I think this is one of those places where once you’ve eaten here you think about the food frequently. I cannot express how much i have thoroughly enjoyed my dinner tonight. Definitely somewhere you have to visit!

Excellent Thai food! Highly recommend this little gem!

Very disappointed with the takeaway. The portion sizes were very small. A prawn curry dish had six prawns in a thin sauce. Tasted good. Not good value for money. £45 for two people and left feeling hungry.

I really enjoyed this authentic Thai food, highly recommend the lamb shank.

They have put prices up and stopped the free crackers....but I guess this is the new world we r in. The service is still excellent and the food is authentic and full of flavour. Lucky to have it so close, so deffo worth a visit.

Went to collect on my break, Been overcharged for a fried rice dish and didn't put no cutlery or anything. The food was really bad, had to throw it away! Never again.

Visited here with two overseas students, one of which was from Thailand. Food was great, very aromatic and tasted wonderful. Service was very good too. Our guest described it as authentic and he really enjoyed it too.

Just had one of the best meals of my life. I have travelled the world twice over and have eaten many great meals, but this was without doubt the best. The Tom Yum soup was fabulous and the Kua Kling (no 47) was lovely (If you appreciate your food that little bit more spicy) Fabulous service and beautiful food. I can't recommend high enough.

Oh my god. The best food. Gorgeous. The person that took my order for takeaway was really helpful and really knew the menu. Recommended gluten free options of the dishes. It was ready in 20 minutes. Me and my brother had red Thai curry, green Thai curry, ginger and pork stir fry, coconut rice and jasmine rice. Mum had Tom Kha soup. Lovely intense flavours, each dish distinct from the other. I have been before and will go again. No photos to add, I’m afraid, as it was down the hatch before you could say knife.

Love my king prawn cashew from here. Partner hated the chicken dish he had and son hated his sweet and sour. They got my dish wrong once and as I only go for my dish now it was very annoying especially when they don't respond to mails :( . Will still go back 😒 as not many get king prawn cashew just right

During the pandemic, we’ve enjoyed a number of takeaways from here. Mostly, the food has been very good. They’re a bit disorganised and the food isn’t always ready when you arrive to collect, but they’re very busy as I suspect most people are having a takeaway on a Saturday night given that we can’t eat out during lockdown.There was however an incident a few weeks ago which gave me a lot of concern and which means that I won’t ever visit again. Whilst I was waiting for my food, another customer came in with his bag of takeaway food and told the chap serving that they’d given him someone else’s order. He said his kids had started opening the containers of food and then they realised it wasn’t their order. The waiter apologised and gave him the correct order. An easy mistake to make and no big deal. The issue for me was that the bag of takeaway food which this gentleman had returned was placed back on the table in the restaurant awaiting collection by the customer who had ordered it. Several minutes later, until my order was ready and I left, this bag of food continued to sit on the table. I don’t know whether, after I left, the customer who had ordered the food came to collect it or not. All I can say is that, if he / she did, he / she would not be aware that a different household had already opened some of the containers. The correct way for the restaurant to deal with this should have been to instantly bin the food and re-cook the order. They didn’t - at least not in the few minutes that I remained on the premises.For me, this is a typical example of poor hygiene and this is the sort of scenario which lends itself towards the spread of COVID.In these circumstances, I don’t ever feel able to eat food from this restaurant again.

Had a few takeaways from here in lickdown. THE BEST THAI MEAL I HAVE EVER HAD FROM ANYWHERE. Definitely worth a journey.

Absolutely lovely restaurant, the food and service were both outstanding. A group of 5 of us went for a birthday celebration, all had a starter and main and everybody thoroughly enjoyed it. Would definitely recommend!

Ordered for collection this evening for the very first time and we were extremely impressed. The order was ready within 20 minutes for pickup and the food was delicious. We’ve not enjoyed a takeaway as much for years and we would highly recommend this to anyone looking for Thai food. I’m sure we’ll visit again and eat in the restaurant in future.

My daughter booked this restaurant when we last visited her, living near Wetherby. It was a Saturday evening, the restaurant was full & apparently always advisable to book. The ambiance was welcoming & decor very nice. I liked the touch of the chair covers. The food was plentiful and very tasty. We ordered a sharing menu. Staff very friendly. Thoroughly enjoyed our meal & visit.

Thought we'd give this restaurant a go having previously tried a takeaway. And all I can say is that it was okay. The food was okay. The service was okay. But for the price I'd expected better.

A nice Thai restaurant with good atmosphere and decor, offering the usual suspects on the menu- as such I would say this is a convenient way to satisfy any craving you may have for a red curry, green curry and a mixed starter. Prices were on the upper side of medium, drinks probably on the higher side- especially soft drinks.

Great evening, really good food, good atmosphere and nice wine - love the sizzling steak. Stalk really pleasant and helpful will certainly be returning.

A great welcome from Wan . A relaxed and calm atomosphere with the best food we had in a week of trying every restaurant in Boston Spa, we truly saved the best till last.

I asked the man that served me if he could spit in my food and he refused to spit In my food and when I asked for a refund he refused to give me one

Great Thai Restaurant and Takeaway is amazing as well.

Chokdee provides very good Thai cuisine, our meal was beautifully presented and enjoyable. It was fully booked and lively when we visited, but the three of us liked the relaxed atmosphere and the service was friendly and prompt. We left full to brimming and the bill was reasonable for the variety of food we consumed. We will go again on future visits.

Great food and great service love it

We visited on a Saturday evening in late April and as always the service, food and atmosphere were as excellent as always. We all opted for the Lamb Shank, super flavours and so well cooked. Would not hesitate to recommend.

We were on holiday nearby and I booked a table for a Thursday evening as it was my husband's birthday. The restaurant was fairly busy and a lot of people were collecting takeaways. The service was very good with time to chat between courses. The food was excellent we had thai fish cakes and golden parcels as starters, then my husband had Gaeng pha( jungle curry) I had PaNaeng and we shared a Pad Thai and a jasmine rice everything was beautifully served and tasted fantastic. We would certainly visit again if we are in the area.

Tried the Thai restaurant that used to be here (Thai Jantra) around 12 years ago, didn’t get the fusion idea and never went back.

The food here was fantastic and very tasty indeed. Loads of choice including veggie options too. Very Friendly staff. Will be back soon!

After a long drive on Tuesday night decided on a Thai meal and made first visit to this small restaurant in Boston spa. It was like walking into an oasis ! A few diners but plenty of tables. Singapore beers, crackers then excellent pad Khangai and pries wan. Nicely cooked, plenty of vegetables included, nice egg fried rice. Our batteries were quickly recharged !

We made a booking 45 mins before via the phone. It’s only a small restaurant so book in advance. It was quite a busy night with a few large tables, which we felt took the full attention of the staff, so things moved a bit slow for just the 2 of us in the corner.

Always wonderful food and (since change of team in 2017) fantastic service too! We are so lucky to have Thai Chokdee on our doorstep; Definitely our favourite village restaurant....... and extremely reasonably priced!

Having moved back into Boston Spa we are trying our way round the new restaurants in the village. I love Thai food but very rarely get to eat it as there have not been many restaurants near that serve this cuisine. Thai Chockdee is a very good thai restaurant, one that I heartily recommend and one that I am excited to go back to.

You can often tell if a restaurant is good if it is well patronized on a Monday night. This one was and it was. My wife had a curry dish which she very much enjoyed. I had a Thai soup that was very good and I was able to spice it up to my tastes. I also had a dumpling dish that wasn't great but it was satisfactory. The service was attentive and the atmosphere great, and the prices were not out of line. All in all, a very enjoyable dining experience.

I have only had the takeaway from this restaurant but every time I have had it, it has been delicious! They give you a good portion size and also 15% discount if you pay in cash on collection of your food. The best Thai restaurant I’ve been to!

Meals are great and I have tried something different every time I've been. Be careful if you want the Thai curry. The Green Curry is hotter than the Red.

Good Thai food. Better than the one in Wetherby but not as good as Sukothai or some in Leeds. Service is very good and they are very nice. Takeaway service is great.

First visit since this place reopened. Food was excellent and beautifully presented. Between us we had the green and red curries - both really tasty and full of chicken. We all had different starters and all were lovely and we finished off with refreshing coconut ice cream and sorbet. Service was very good - we were last to leave yet they still came and offered to top up our water glasses at the point when most restaurants would have been bringing the bill and trying to get rid of us. Will definitely return.

We ate here on the 21st December and the food was absolutely excellent. I cannot understand why there were so few people in the restaurant as I could not fault the food or the service. I guess that as this is a relatively new establishment in the same location as a long standing local favourite, people have been suspicious of the change. Hopefully people will give this place a go, as I ma sure they will not be disappointed.
