very good food very nice stuff sad the owner wouldn't let me charge my wheelchair when I needed to even when I was out of way and I have a travel charger I did buy food and drinks

This place is fantastic. Food was delicious, service was fast and friendly, music was great and cocktails were great. Would definitely recommend

A friend of mine was assaulted and shockingly was immediately very aggressively carried out of the venue by the security staff, we suspect because of the reaction he may have been the perpetrator. The manager originally seemed helpful but upon NOT solving the issue advised we that we not reenter the venue (not even to replace the drinks that the bouncer discarded) and we were incredibly unhappy with how we were treated. Upon trying to contact the venue, the phone went unanswered and there was no form of answer machine meaning that the issue could not even begin to be resolved the same day. Very very disappointed with our evening and several further actions will have to be taken, both with the venue and the police.

Booked a table for dinner at 9pm. The music was so loud we had to shout to talk to person less than half a meter away, got a head ache after 20 mins in there. We couldnt hear the servers, nor could they hear us. I have lost my voice from this experience. Don't allow table bookings for dinner if you're going to have the music louder than a club. Awful experience really, you should gave free paracetamol.

They did not let my friend in, despite him having a valid ID, (my friend had a visa and a valid license) They claimed we were rude but we were just trying to explain our situation. We were trying to celebrate our friends graduation but we're segregated from the group.

Rob was a great bartender I ask and I received. I ordered a single and realised I wanted a double, he accommodated to my request and I paid my dues. He is one of the best barstaff these guys have. I thank him as I will come again.

The bar itself is really nice, great atmosphere and lovely decor... Actually managed to find a seat after dinner on a Saturday! Just a shame because one round of shots was made (in my opinion) totally incorrectly ratio wise and later a cocktail we ordered was missing a key ingredient so had to be remade. Could be a newbie but for our first visit it was a shame... Might try again another time

Absolutely love it here. It's a shame the food is not more widely talked about as it is DELICIOUS. It'd probably be less of a bar/more of a restaurant vibe in the day or weekday evenings but expect a live dj and loud music at the weekend (which is what we were after anyway). I'd highly recommend our usual order of PCL chicken rice (we get one each), pork belly, crack wings (gochujang) and edamame (which is enough for two for dinner). Not massively fussed for the bao or gyozas vs the food above. Everything came out when ready so very hot and we had the loveliest waitress too :) Would recommend over most (probably all) other comparable dim sum places in Leeds (inc Ivy Asia/Issho)

Saw the name of this place and thought I got to check it out! The waitress was really friendly and helpful when we were ordering, great customer service. We basically ordered an array of dim-sum and bao buns, all of which you can see being made of you happen to be facing in that direction. The food was great, all of it was really tasty, each dish was distinctly different from the other which prevented it getting samey and boring. Recommended to anyone. The food is really enjoyable and sounds intriguing when someone asks where you went 😂

We were completely ignored by the staff, even when I tried to get someone's attention when they walked past they seemed like they didn't want to interact with us. We decided to leave as didn't want to spend our money somewhere we were clearly not welcome. Got a cheery 'goodbye' from another member of staff as we were leaving. Very strange. Only two other tables had people on as it was a Saturday afternoon so it's not like it was super busy.

We left after one drink after friends were turned away by the bouncers for being the wrong gender. Which is illegal.

This was our second visit to this venue. We made the most of the very helpful team working there and lots of help provided for choice of drinks and food. Lots of effort goes into both areas and the presentation is second to none. If ever I visit Leeds in the future it will be top of the list again.

On a Monday, the value for money is good on the food (baos and gyoza), however wouldn’t pay full price. There’s better bao buns in Leeds when comparing the taste and texture. Salt and Pepper Chicken was burnt, but the dim sum and gyoza were good!

Came with friends for some lunchtime food and drinks, ended up staying 4 hours! Great choice of Asian food, we chose a selection between 3 of us. Edamame beans, prawn toast, crack wings, Korean steak, breakfast katsu and pork belly bao buns and then dim sum….. all very tasty and generous portions. Good value for money, would definitely come again.

This is the go to place in Leeds for a night out... all the other bars filled with people, sticky floors and watered down drinks. I always have a great night out here, great drinks, always different music and you have to dance here no compromise 🕺TAKE IT EASY ON THE SHOTS PEOPLE....

What a place, the food, music, staff and atmosphere were amazing. Would highly recommend. The duck and chicken gyoza were to die for. We will certainly be back very soon. Loved it.

Me and my partner absolutely love eating here, they are also very accommodating around my nut allergy which is really great considering the style of food. The cocktails are great too and it’s always reasonably priced

Booked for a work lunch. The food was 5 stars all day long. Can recommend the chicken rice the bbq ribs and the salt and pepper chicken. But everything we tried was excellent

Second time having been here, and thought that the first time was a fluke. But no the food was again AMAZING, music was a bit too loud for me. But then again I am old 🤣🤣🤣. Again thank amazing food

Love it here! Visited recently with my partner and friends and both the food and service were great. Ordered a selection of plates - breakfast bao, chicken rice, pork gyoza, garlic and soy crack wings. All amazing! My drink was forgotten about, which I didn’t mind at all, but we were given limoncello shots as an apology on the house which was a nice surprise!

Charged £2 something for a soda water. What’s next, three pounds to flush the toilet?

I'd rate it one star only for the bouncer who was really sweet and helpful. We headed to the bar and we were treated like we didn't exist. None at the bar cared to ask what drink we wanted. When I finally made one of the bartenders aware of our presence, all they said was "one second" and didn't bother at all. That treatment was quite disrespectful. I do understand it can get busy, but after having stood there for a good 10 minutes, I think one of them could have attended to us. We walked out, ofcourse.

We enjoyed a fabulous lunch in one of our favourite spots down Call Lane in Leeds, PCL, we have eaten here a few times and the food (and cocktails) never let us down. The food is all Japanese small plates and the cocktails are all Asian inspired too using ingredients such as Matcha and Yuzu. There is a good mix of slightly larger dishes and smaller dishes to be served tapas style- we would recommend 5-6 per couple depending on which you choose. We sampled the summer menu which has some of the dishes we have tried before as well as some new ones- there are a selection of Baos and Dim Sum as well as the main dishes. We absolutely loved everything we tried- it was all served hot and fresh as it was made and the flavours were immense. The new cocktail menu is amazing too.

Popped in for a quick bite/ light lunch. Was a pick and mix small plates menu. “Asian style tapas”. All the food was absolutely delicious and very reasonably priced. Service was wonderfully welcoming. Will definitely come back.

This is my absolute favourite bar in Leeds! The staff are so friendly and accommodating. I would give six stars if I could!

What an absolutely amazing place. The food is aways brilliant- I’d eat here every day if I could and the gyozas are the best I’ve had. Fantastic cocktails in a lovely place with amazing staff and excellent service. Looking forward to next time already.

Arguably the best margarita cocktail I’ve ever had in this place.. that spiced rim is elite!! Been here three times now, never let us down. Ate on 1/3 of those visits and the bao buns were delightful. Great vibes, food and drinks… cannot ask for much more.

No chance on getting if you are single or Asian !!!! The Black bouncer won't let you in !!!!! Seems vey elitist with bad attitude. sadly another bar on car Lane letting Leeds single and Asian people down

I was attracted to this bar due to the name - I am a massive New Order fan! The bouncer on the door was brilliant, hilarious and helpful. The manager spent a good amount of time talking to me about the New Order connection and even put on some New Order music for us and gave us free shots. He really cares about his customers, ensuring that we were welcomed, we had a great time, excellent atmosphere, great music and loved it there.

We came here over the bank holiday weekend before we went for a meal. The bar is lovely, they have a good choice of drinks including a gluten free beer (virtuous) and do a good mix of other drinks too. Atmosphere is really nice and service is always excellent whenever we go. Can’t wait to go back . This place is a gem and hope to try the food out shortly

Not bad but wouldn’t rush back. Food tasty but a bit too salty and cocktails a bit too sweet. Staff friendly, atmosphere a little off. Maybe reaching for the theme a bit too much and not quite getting it.

Great atmosphere, lovely cocktails and staff who seem to actually care and want to engage with their customers. A bar doing things right is a novelty nowadays. I haven't yet tried the food on my last couple of visits but I've heard it's very good.

Absolutely amazing food and quick, friendly service. Interesting selection of dishes and distinctive flavours. We enjoyed everything we ordered, especially the fish karaage. Sadly, the music was too loud to have a conversation and the seating was a bit cramped. The kitchen was also out of several dishes, which was a shame. We were charged for a dish that we didn't even receive, though our server resolved this quickly. Overall, a lovely place for dinner but the atmosphere has room for improvement.

First time visiting PCL and really enjoyed everything about it. The food was delicious and was served so quickly - the menu had a great range of options too. Loved the vibe and would definitely come back again!

Love this place. Why? A simple gesture by a bar tender. A man with a beautiful moustache. He went across the road to get me a whiskey. If that's not service I don't know what is. The gyozas were great too :)

Went here last night for Friday night drinks. The service was fantastic. They have an interesting selection of cocktails with eclectic flavour combinations. The food is East Asian street food. The gyoza and dipping sauces were delicious.

We went here for cocktails which were very good and had great names. We didn’t eat here but the food that other customers were eating looked good and the staff were very friendly. We were given a great recommendation from a member of staff for somewhere local to go out dancing and had a great time.

The food here is something else. I highly recommend it!

Had a fantastic evening here with good friends. Millie was a fantastic server, very friendly and helpful. The “what a mighty good marg” is now a personal favourite.

What an amazing bar. With sleek decor and exquisite drinks u is this is the place to be. All our cocktails were made with love and care by the delightful Millie who provided all our drinks in record time with a smile on her face. 5/5 would recommend

Stopped to have a drink outside. Lovely doorman let the waitresses know we were there. Just had a couple of drinks, on a warm evening, very pleasant. Staff very nice. Didn't eat there or go inside so can't comment on that.
