I’ve always found the food is good, it’s as you expect it to be. Service has always been poor, lacking in enthusiasm for customers; have always felt we were an inconvenience. That is until Georgie M walked up to our table tonight. Watching her deal with all her customers was a lesson in how service should be, she was proactive, efficient and most of all enthusiastic. Thank you!

Been here couple of times and Friday’s chicken burgers never disappoint! Service is quick and stuff very friendly, always there to help. Yesterday tried also fudge brownie and cheesecake - both delicious to that point, that forgot to take pictures as they arrived 😅 but really worth trying guys! Definitely recommend! 😌

Started off by waiting for 15minutes to get seated Everyone seemed grumpy that was serving, food was warm even though it took 45 mins after we ordered Was a birthday celebration watched everyone else have birthdays celebrated but as we booked so late they clearly couldn’t be bothered , didn’t really feel like one felt rushed and won’t be returning

Such a poor visit at TGI today. Arrived late afternoon to be seated promptly. Restaurant wasn’t busy, around 4/5 other tables taken. Took 25 minutes before anyone came back to ask if we were ready. In between that time we overheard 2 tables receiving the incorrect order. Eventually we ordered food and drinks at the same time. All arrived about 15 minutes but had to wait another 5 for sauces. Asked for a refill drink and the waitress tried to deliver it to another table. After finishing our food we asked for the bill, the girl said she would go grab the card machine. Another girl came out the back and went to the table behind us to try and take their money for our bill. She did apologise but the whole event was a shambles.

Paige and Quiana looked after us, they were both amazing and made the experience so special. Thanks guys!

The best milkshake! ☺️ We had very nice service from Luke and Leslie! It’s a shame the espresso machine is broken because the espresso martini is one of my favourite cocktails. But this is not the individual restaurants fault.

Came in on a Wednesday afternoon and was seen by Leslie and Luke. Leslie was very profesional and funny who created a fantastic atmosphere. Once I ordered my espresso martinis, I was told the coffee machine was broken and this was not an option. I was then suggested a Long Island once talking with Luke and Leslie. It was fantastic and a very tasty version - one of the best in MK. I also used to be a cocktail bartender and was blown away by this interpretation of a LIIT. I was even upsold some “Fridays Sesame Chiken Strips” which were amazing! 🤩 Thanks again Luke and Leslie!

Sat down for 30 minutes and not one worker came and took our order.. despite multiple servers walking past the table. (It was clear we were ready to order) so long story short.. we spent £23 pound for a couple of drinks. Terrible.

Firstly, the restaurant was empty and they chose to sit is right next to the toilets. It took a while for them to come take our drinks, and even longer for them to be made. We waited 20 minutes for our first round. The food was okay, my friends enjoyed theirs although mine was slighly cold. Waited a while for the food too. Then the icing on the cake, my cocktail had SHATTERED GLASS inside it. I drank from it and instantly realised in my throat and in my mouth was glass, my friend found glass in hers luckily before she drank it. The staff looked and agreed it was glass and got is fresh drinks, but myself and everyone else i was with was too scared to drink their drinks. At first, all they did was take off the two drinks which had the glass, but then they took off everyones drinks which i still dont think was good enough, i couldve ended up way worse than i did. Don’t go here.

Generally really good, the steak was not hot but tasted really nice. Service was brilliant!

Edible but disappointing, only 4 mozzarella sticks for £9.50 is a bit steep, the baked potato skins have gone downhill since our last visit many years ago - not much topping and not crispy. Chicken burger was soggy, and the fully loaded fries were drowned in sauce with minimal topping. Lots of staff for little customers but had to flag them down for every single interaction (ordering drinks/ordering food/refill/bill.

What an absolutely awful place the theatre district Friday is now… They knew it was a birthday celebration, but apart from a few balloons on the table, nobody said happy birthday! The food came out, and my sweet potato fries were cremated and no slaw on the plate, I asked for some slaw & complain about the fries, The waiter agreed that they were bad and said they would replace them, however, they didn’t arrive until I asked for them again after I’d finished my meal!!!! Was also charged £15 for a 2 4 1 Long island tea cocktail??? Really, £15 each?? Nobody came & asked if everything was ok, did we want anything? Or again, mention the birthday celebration, wasn’t until my daughter came on shift that they sang happy birthday & put the cake to go in the doggy box instead of the nice red & white birthday box! I’ve been going to Fridays since it opened and always had a wonderful experience there, but it’s an absolute nightmare of a place with no atmosphere or good customer interaction! NEVER AGAIN will I go there! It’s an absolute disaster!!!!! Ruined my birthday surprise & the day!!!! 😡

Went yesterday evening around 7.30 and took 30 mins from when we ordered our drinks to get them, an hour to get our starter (cheese dippers) and 2 hours for our mains, unbelievably slow service and felt like we had been forgotten about! for how much it came to really disappointed! Wont be returning!

Went with my wife, daughter, son in law and three grandchildren. All ate from the kids menu and the server was really nice. At the end we ordered two half beers but after 15 minutes went to the bar which was empty and 5 or so staff chatting at the back I told the member of staff we ordered 15 minutes ago and there's 5 of you standing around talking. We left without having our order. No.more than.10 customers.im the whole place

It was not busy, we had a booking for 6:45, we got there at 6:43 and waited until 6:50 and wasn’t served by the waitress that walked past us several times. Super rude as it wasn’t busy and we had a booking. Clearly don’t have enough staff working there and can’t afford someone to wait at the desk when a booking is meant to arrive. They could have also said to us they will be a few minutes

unfortunately our food was vile but we had Taig as our waitress and she was AMAZING! she was so lovely and made sure everything was okay with the food situation, even seeing her waiting other tables she is smashing it x

Good food, great cocktails but a bit expensive. Cocktails deal a bit disappointing because you have to have same cocktail. Had to walk to bar to get attention. Staff were nice

Terrible service - waited an hour for our starter, which only had to be heated for the cheese to melt. Horrific prices, no wonder they don’t display the prices on the online menu, it would put you off. Not enough staff so waiting times too long and staff were stressed. Noisy and chaotic with kids running around and getting in the way. Food was great but you’d expect it to be £20+ for a burger and £5.00 for plain chips! It used to be a great place to eat but not any more. Very disappointed experience for me and my grandson.

Went in for a meal with the family, the atmosphere was GREAT, bubbly staff and good music. Food was yummy and presented well, will defo be coming back!

I used to be a service manager for TGI Fridays back in the 80s and as I live overseas, thought it would be nice to drop in with my family. The restaurant was just about empty at 8pm on a Thursday. It didn't look open from outside, with some lights off. We were shown to a sticky dirty table and given dirty menus. There was zero atmosphere and after 5 minutes were greeted by a waitress who instead of saying hello asked if we had any allergies. There were dirty tables and I'm sorry to say we decided to end it there and left. On the way out we noted a waiter directly out the front door vaping. And what happened to the striped t-shirts? They were iconic. Used to be such a buzzing place with great food, service and atmosphere. Sad

Burnt food with no atmosphere and £16 a cocktail...disappointing:(

We have eaten at this TGI Fridays numerous times over the years, but today just takes the biscuit. There prices for the portions of food served are completely inadequate. Charging £26 for a steak and chips you get a small handful of chips and the steak today has to be honestly one of worst I’ve ever eaten. ( these prices are close to if not on par with some fanatic steaks houses but without even half the quality) My dinner was sent back twice due to steak being well over cooked and mostly fat. Not a single member of staff came over ask how the meal was or ask we’d like a refill on drinks I had to wait for the members of staff to stop chatting amongst themselves before I could get someone’s attention. All in all over the last couple of visits Tgi,s have become extremely overpriced and extremely under achieved on the service. When your total food bill comes to £94.70 just for a main and drink for a family of 4, 2 of which had kids meals I think there’s better restaurants that provide a better service, better food at a better price. Won’t be returning!

I was served with my friend earlier by a lovely waitress called Taig. She was lovely and bubbly and made us laugh, it was so welcoming and amazing to see a staff member treat us with such respect, coming to check up on us and see if we needed or wanted anything, the food was incredible mozzarella dippers was gorgeous, as was the calamari 🤭, the main was super amazing and filling I had the chicken glazed burger and my friend the Cajun chicken pasta, great portion size and its so worth the money, would 100% recommend! Thank you for an amazing evening experience will be definitely coming back.

I had a very good birthday celebration with my friends. We had a great time and received a birthday balloon hat from our waitress and the birthday song. We had fast service and our food arrived hot. Our waitress constantly checked back and asked if we wanted refills and if we was okay. I would definitely come back again!!

OMG. I like to give restaurants and workers within credit, but TGI MK, what a shambles. To start, the place was empty, 3 pm on a Saturday, so here we went expecting a better service, it’s empty!! But the service was shocking. Had to ask (aka beg) to take our order, and when taken, the food was delivered very slowly and wrong…. 3 out of 4 orders were wrong. Sent one back due to dietary reasons and it took another 30 mins to return a below-par dish. The rest of the diners had finished….. On observation, 4 families left due to no servers taking their orders. When the food bill arrived (on asking 3 times…..) they charged us for the full dinner. I would’ve expected some reduction offered linked to major errors with the dishes presented. Never again. Shocking chain.

We had another waiter and he wasn't great, we've waited 20 min for bottomless drinks before Connor but when he took over he smashed it x congrats Connor for your service, excellent one!!!

Visited on 11/05, booking at 9pm. I'll start with the negatives, staff swearing/bitching & running through resturant when trying to eat, manager had no control over the Front of House staff whatsoever, had to ask for cutlery after food arrived, no dips served with starter, rude member of staff when requested said dips and then had to ask another member of staff as the first clearly couldn't be bothered, food overpriced. Positives, food was nice & Mariam was lovely, the only member of staff I found approachable. Unfortunately the negatives out weigh the positives, we will not be returning to this resturant.

Food was boarder line cold, pint glasses could to with renovating as they were dirty, males toilets were flooded, nearly tripped over a brush and dust pan that was left on the floor near the main entrance. Staff were very friendly though

I visited here yesterday evening for my 27th birthday with my family. The staff member that seated us, was friendly and polite. On our arrival, we witnessed a staff member walking around the restaurant swearing under her breath as she walked past customers. Our food was served to us with no dips despite the menu saying it came with dips, no knife and forks and when my stepmum asked very politely about our dips a staff member shouted ‘WHAT?’ At her and then proceeded to say she will check about the dips because she doesn’t know the menu?? She was rude and extremely unprofessional. Eventually, we were given cutlery and our dips and the food was lovely. However, for the rest of the evening the same rude member of staff and some others were dancing, singing loudly and running through the restaurant whilst me and my family were trying to finish our meals. We were really disappointed with the service from some of the staff members here. On the plus side the staff member, that took our order, I think her name was Mariam, was extremely polite, very accomodating, friendly and always smiled. Nothing was too much to ask. She even made the effort at the end of our meal to bring me some cake and sing to me on her own with my family as her other colleagues weren’t around to do it with her. So thank you Mariam, you made my evening. Overall though, disappointed with the service me and my family received

I came here with my friend for a dinner and girls night out. Our server Taig and SA Ellie looked after us the whole night. They were so lovely and informative.

Food was ok, service was absolutely awful. Our drinks didn’t arrive, only one of our meals arrived - I had to chase up the second. The condiments we asked for never arrived. Ordered a scoop of chocolate ice cream, waited half an hour and vanilla ice cream with chocolate sauce turned up. We were told there was no chocolate ice cream and we should just mix up the vanilla and chocolate sauce to make chocolate ice cream! Waited a further 20 minutes for the bill!! All tables around us were also complaining about the incredibly long wait times for every request!

We chose TGI's for a meal before attending the theatre as we have eaten in various TGI's before and never had an issue. We were seated at our table promptly, but after waiting 20 minutes to order drinks, we decided to leave and go elsewhere. The waitress had not even acknowledged that we were there and spent most of her time in the kitchen. We won't be visiting TGI MK again

Food has lost its quality and creativity. I remember TGIF being amazing sizzling food. It truly is mediocre the times I've been in the past 4 years and at different locations. It just lost its atmosphere and vibe. The waitress that day was superb and remained patient given our good was sent back multiple times for being cold, old tortillas, the fajitas wraps were reheated and hard, tasteless veggie food, minimal cheese on top of chips and cold. The manager did provide a no charge on some of the food. However we would have much preferred good food as it used to be. For me and my partner I do believe it's our last time at TGIF. If it hadn't been a birthday group that invited us we definitely would not have gone. Each time disappointing. When Whitbreads owned it standards were high.

Since when did it become so expensive to eat here. There were 3 of us and we ordered sesame chicken as a start and 2 as a main meal with upgraded side and 3 bottomless drinks came to £70. The menu is confusing as it states choose a side with no mention of an upgrade fee except on the burger page. Even the upgrade fee don't make sense £5 for standard fries but if you want the loaded fries they cost £6.80 (+£1.80) however your charged £2.60. we love the food but definitely can not justify paying that amount.

Shocked when i got the bill. £8.60 For 2 cans of Dr Pepper .. Could of bought a case in the supermarket for that price !

Really poor service Saturday 27th. We went to the theatre, knowing it would be busy we booked for 5pm. On arrival the place looked a state! We were told to wait at the bar, despite walk ins before us being seated straight away at 4:55. It took 35 minutes to be given our table. Our starter (1 meal) took an hour to arrive then our mains took another hour. People next to us never even got their food and they were seated just before us… surely you knew you would be busy with a sold out theatre performance that night. Despite complaining about the fact we had to ask for clean cutlery as the ones on the table still had food on them, and the million other things that went wrong we were still charged full price. Crazy experience poor service. Loads more negative comments I could make…

We went to this restaurant last night for a family birthday. Their was music playing as we entered which was loud enough for a nightclub. The service was too slow. The food was not hot enough and the prices were way way to high. Very disappointed. Will; not go here again.

This was my first time visiting this venue as i was in the area, the food was amazing and the service was top notch, keep up the good work guys i will definitely be visiting again when im next in the area

Horrendous service, waited nearly an hour and a half and still no food. Waitress said it could be because of ordering a vegan option, if this was the case then why was nothing said at point of ordering? Instead we were told food was coming an hour into our wait, and then nothing more till we asked half an hour later when we then had to cancel, as we had other obligations that we had scheduled and had to attend hungry. We paid for our drinks, however we feel that this experience was severely lacking, and wanted to share.

One hour wait for starters. One starter missing (never arrived). Starters not cleared before mains arrived. No cutlery for main course One main course dish was wrong. Had to wait for fourth correct meal to arrive. Bill arrived with FIVE main courses as we'd been billed for the wrong main course too. Atrocious experience. Completely spoilt an 18th birthday celebration meal

Had a table booked for 8pm for my daughters birthday we were asked to wait at the bar as table was not ready although there were other tables available. At 8.25 i had to ask the waitress what time we would get seated?. We were then seated at a table that had been speedily cleaned (badly). Thinking that they knew we had been waiting a while with menus they would take our order fairly sharpish... no had to flag someone done after another 10 minutes of waiting to take our order. The waitress from then on was great a real credit to the team. The food is ok not the best American style diner but certainly one of the most expensive.

Shockingly poor service having ordered drinks and food together, the waiter had to be reminded 20 minutes later that we still didn't have our drink and an additional 40 minutes for the food to arrive that had clearly been left on the pass for some time because the pot of burger sauce was hot with a thick skin on it. The older was also wrong and to top it all off the glasses were filthy with residue of older drinks in them and my beer had to flies at the bottom of the glass. Poor service, substandard at best...👎🏻 Oh and the manager had really really bad breath 🤢

If I could give 0 for the service I would. We was treated like an afterthought rather than a paying customer. We always use to like TGI Fridays but maybe not anymore. The food was good when we finally got it. We had made a booking only to be told on arrival we would need to wait for our table. They didn’t clean the table or under it properly as there was still food on and under the table from the last customers

Really really sad I’ve put 1 star. My daughters 14th birthday and we’ve been let down by the standard of the food and to hear the table next to us say they should have gone to MD’s instead made us realise the shock we were in for. My daughter has been sick and her grandad is suffering now. Unless I get some compensation I will take things further. I’m up at 1:45 in the morning posting this because my daughter is throwing up.

Came here for my Mum’s birthday. Had put down it was a birthday celebration, and provided staff with a cake for my mum (as a surprise). Once the bill came, we wondered where the cake was. We asked the staff and they said it would be 5 minutes. 20 minutes later and followed by many “5 more minutes”, we decided to take the cake and leave, and do celebrations at home. So so so disappointed with this service, do not offer it as an option if you cant fulfil your promise. wont be coming again. Also to my fellow vegans, the food was very poor.

Absolutely rubbish experience! I was there on my birthday and it honestly felt like a waste of time. There wasn't any acknowledgement of my birthday booking and I wasn't meant to feel special. The burger I had tasted like the meat had been reheated. Also, the service was really slow and it took shall an age to pay for the bill which I wasn't very happy with as the whole experience was appalling. It was also my first time at TGI Fridays, and I had heard good things but my experience was far from it. I do not recommend

Needs a facelift was a bit should we shouldn’t we as we like TGI but wouldn’t go back

We were lucky when we visited here prior to a theatre show, we got served within 20 minutes. The table next to us had to wait an hour to get their order. Other customers walked out and another was shouting at staff through the kitchen door. There just wasn't enough staff for the number of people in the restaurant. Our waiter was friendly and helpful but was rushed off his feet. Would not recommend this TGI when it's busy.

AVOID Went here on Wednesday 6th March. I was advised by my friend to avoid TGIs here as service is shocking when they went, However, we thought we would try it after not being able to get in to another restaurant as it was fully booked. Well, let’s just say I wish I listened and it seems like this definitely is an ongoing problem by the sounds of this place and nothing is being done about it! Myself and my partner came in at 6:10pm and took a while for a person to come and seat us. Sat down looked at menu and then had to call someone over to take our order, I asked, how long food would be as we had a show to attend at the theatre and was told 15 minutes. Ordered starters and mains and two cocktails. It was 6:55pm by the time we got our starters and then at 7:10pm still no meal. As I was looking round I could see numerous people waiting who had been there longer then us. I said to my partner, I don’t think we will be eating this main, and boy was I right. My partner went up and complained and was told she would find out what was happening, had no response or update after this. It got to 7:20 when myself and my partner as well as another table got up and said to the waitress we are going to have to leave. There was a gentleman and woman who were also sat on another table, with the lady eating her main and the gentleman sat there for 10 minutes waiting for his food!!! I felt sorry for him. Also for the price you pay here you would expect better service. This is totally unacceptable! We went to the show hungry, left annoyed by the service and lack of food! I will NOT be returning and will be telling everyone not to go here. There is clearly an issue here with staffing. The poor staff looked under pressure.

The food was luke warm but tasty. The waiter was rude and quite arrogant. However it was still a alright night. Their Mac and cheese was good.

We went in and asked if they was a wait on food there said about 30 minutes which was OK with us as we had tickets for the theatre 45 minutes Later we still had no food we ask the waitress how much long is are food is going to be and she said did not have a clue how much longer it was going to be???? She did say that they were short staffed and the manager was in the kitchen... 4 tables walked out ...and there was about six delivero drivers who were waiting for order's I personally think that they should have shut the app off

Amazing experience went a few weeks ago

All about Mariam. What a fantastic, kind, lovely customer experience driven young person. We booked a birthday dinner at TGI for our little one and friends, and she was treated like a star! The food was good, but the service from Mariam was what really made our experience so good. Nothing was too much trouble - even when we had more than one kiddies drink spillage! Mariam, you were fantastic. I hope HQ take note on who to model when recruiting. Thanks again ⭐️

Waited for ages for our order to be taken whilst a lot of staff were wandering around. The food wasn't great when it arrived and some items were missing.

Got a table Wednesday evening, (restaurant was half full). Sat down waited over 20mins. No waitress/waiter asked what we wanted to eat or drink. After half hour we walked out. I don't think the staff even noticed.

Had a lovely meal i am a regular and come in all the time the staff are lovely and always look after me.

Drains were stinking and overwhelmed the whole bar area, hideous. "Cocktails" £16 each and literally was just a JD and lemonade, no garnish, no different glass, literally just JD-apple, ice, lemonade and a drop of botanical spirit in a normal glass with a straw, thank christ they were 2 for 1. The whole place felt like it needed a good scrub, everything surface felt sticky and dull, pretty grim tbh.

Came in on a busy Saturday, the wait time on food was long but the food and our server sid were amazing. Had a good time overall, highly recommended.

I haven't been here for a while and I can remember it being a reasonably priced meal. Not any more. Over £100 for four main courses, two alcoholic and two non alcoholic drinks.

Our waitress was really lovely but running around as she was on her own, she was very apologetic but not her fault. Food was dire and overpriced.

The service was a bit slow but we understand there were a lot of people coming in at the same time to get out early for the show at the theatre. Overall food was good and the cocktails were amazing. Thank you Siddhant for a wonderful time and great service.

Only good part of our visit was the service as our server was lovely. Food…. Omg?? What has happened it literally felt and tasted like frozen food and it cost us £70 for 2 starters and 2 mains. Actually completly unbelievable to be honest…. I know plenty more places I’d rather take my money. Chicken fingers tasted worse than McDonald’s chicken selects. SAVE YOUR MONEY DO NOT GO HERE.

Portions have got smaller since I last came, but prices have gone up! Staff say hello, that's it. Wait over 20 minutes minimum for anything. No one asked how our food was, and then waited over half an hour for the bill after asking three times.

Came in here with my family for dinner, our server siddhant was exceptional, he offered good dish suggestions since we were vegetarians. The food and the atmosphere were brilliant. Highly recommended

3rd visit to this particular place, 1st visit was ok so went for 2nd time. Not so good. Service was slow, not enough staff. Food was pretty good though. So gave it another try, same problem not enough staff service was super slow ( 50 min wait for 1st course) and to top it all the little people couldn't have anything they wanted as didn't have IE, no burgers, no beans and because of the long wait had no time for their afters as we had to leave because of a booked show to go to! Never going there again...

Great staff who were attentive and helped my mum with her allergies, checking all food before serving. Service was a little slow but it was very busy and the food was good when it came. Unfortunately, we did struggle because the kitchen was out of various dishes particularly from the children's menu which had a good 80% missing.

I had a small issue which your covering manager from Leicester (Reece) dealt with the best way possible. He's a credit to the company and I'd like to show my thanks.

1hr 45mins wait for food! They were busy, but this was an extremely frustrating evening meal. Food was nice when arrived Are waiter was also very apologetic

There was a young Irish fellow that served me and the wife. He was super charming and helpful throughout the night, even booked us a hotel. Got a bit weird when he turned up to the same room as ours. Anyway, 10/10 night. Thanks Justin.

Come in for food with the family last minute and was made to feel nothing but special from start to finish, from our first greeting at the door to the bar service delivered to us by Rahat and Liam, to the fantastic service we received at the table from our server Paige and mannie and manager garrah, couldn’t recommend enough, great service great food and drink and very friendly service, we will be back soon.
