Excellent all of chinese foods and staff, I will be order again.

This was really not a good Chinese, I complained and tried to get a refund. Instead they asked to remake my food I refused but they said all they can do is remake it. I agreed but said I must choose something else . I drove alll the way back to give back to pick this new food up and return the other food but it was just bad. He tried his best to accommodate i suppose but would have just preferred if my refund was given instead. I did not enjoy the food at all I don’t recommend. This used to be an amazing Chinese when by Shenley it’s a shame.

The salted fish and chicken fried rice is good, and the dry-fried beef river has some oil and MSG. Will try other things next time.

They have HONG KONG Sytle menu and drinks

High standard Hong Kong style food with very reasonable price. The satay beef instant noodles tastes exactly the same as I had in HK, one of the best. Beef tendon noodles really worths trying, portion is large enough. Salt and pepper squid is irresistible, my kid finish half of this dish with fried beef ho fan as main dish. I had grass jelly tea, tastes really nice and it’s a very special HK style drink. Free parking at the back of the pub. Staff are all very kind, you would feel very welcome.

The stir-fried noodles are delicious in a wok, with beef tendon and beef brisket.

Good Hong Kong style food. Is part of the pub, entrance (& parking) around the back (or walk through the pub). Only downside is food is served in takeaway containers but not a biggie

It is a restaurant that can very well recreate the taste of a Hong Kong teahouse. The food quality is quite good. The only thing that needs to be added is the heavy use of MSG. If I have the opportunity to go to MK, I will patronize it again. Recommended Western toast and dry-fried beef river

The best Chinese I have ever had! Absolutely beautiful, my partner usually doesn’t like Chinese and he finished his whole plate tonight! Will definitely be ordering from here every time we get a Chinese and recommending this restaurant to my friends and family. Yum 🤍

Food is quite delicious. Tried the fish ball noodles which is decent. The red bean drink is also good. Price is slightly expensive as portions isn’t that big. Lovely atmosphere

At first, the food and service was casual and acceptable. Overtime, I didnt realise that they have improved so much in terms of everything they do to attract more HKers. At least it's way better than Lion Rock Cafe.

Excellent little place hidden within the pub and has a great vibe with welcoming staff encouraged by a huge smile. This place allow you to take time and find exactly what you are looking for. Spicy Singapore noodles is a must try for a good kick, goes well with their curry sauce and prawn crackers.

Staff was very rude and has no patience,I called at lunchtime to order some takeaway to pick up in a little while and ask staff any recommendations on some rice dishes as this is a new restaurant doing different stuffs, answer from the staff was I can’t help you because I’m not you, I don’t know what do you eat? Then I was still trying to calm myself down and ask,what is your favourite from the menu? And staff said to me if you don’t know what do you want, can not make up your mind then call back when you can because I’m Very busy 😡😡 Its such a shame when new business try to get established and staffs let business down.

Food was really lovely once it actually arrived, Placed the order at approx 7:45pm and at 9:55pm it was finally delivered despite being told 5 times when dining that it was with the driver and on its way! Restaurant is 7 minutes away from delivery address it should not have taken over an hour to be delivered On the last phone call where I had quite frankly had enough of being lied to regarding delivery timings I was told the driver is slow because of the rain which was light drizzle at best. Such a shame because when the food did finally get here it was piping hot and absolutely delicious, which just proves when told an hour previously the food was with the driver that wasn’t the case

No high chairs for kids , not quality food and the owner said no beverage cover for delivery , are the ready actually ?

The food is above par, prices are within an acceptable range. You can get a 10 percent discount when paid by cash. The environment is quite tranquil. Nice staff.

The restaurant is closed yet they are taking orders online. Their online website is still on running. Very frustrating had guests ordered food only to go pick it and find the restaurant closed. They should update their online website.

This person was being rude blaming last time which was WEEKS AGO when I allegedly had my period and she said I would not allow to go back if I did it again like girl periods ain't infectious

Close to the travelodge and good reviews so we gave it a go. Amazingly attentive service without being intrusive. Excellent hot tasty food and they accommodated my food preferences within the set menu. Surroundings clean and well kept and probably the cleanest toilets I've seen this holiday. We'd go back when in the area and recommend without hesitation

Our 1st ever deliveroo meal, it was superb. Arrived quickly. Piping hot & delicious. Chicken satay skewers were awesome. Not over salted as many takeaways or greasy. Cant wait to order again. We dont have big appetites but were very full for £25 including delivery etc. 5⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐

Sadly this place has gone downhill. Treated my husband to the buffet on father's Day. Hardly any food left and had to ask for it to be topped up. Poor selection and very rude staff who did not like to be told that the food quantity and quality was poor. Not sure I will be returning extremely unprofessional and lack of choice for a buffet .

Really enjoyed our first experience at this lovely restaurant with extremely helpful staff. Don't be put off by the small portions in the Sunday buffet - they constantly cook fresh batches! The salt and pepper chicken was my favourite.

Used to be a fab place, many happy memories made with loved ones. Now!!! Awful, no buffet, tiny portions.over priced, service awful, took plates whilst we were still eating, felt very unwelcome. Shame, I will never go again, and have been going for the last 15 years…end of an era.

Provides great Chinese food to eat in or take away. No home delivery. Very popular and there can be considerable delays at times. Ordering in advance I was told that I would be able to collect my order in 45 minutes but had a further 45 minutes to wait at the restaurant on top of that. They don't take card payments over the Internet so they don't cook your food until you turn up and pay! 4⭐ for the food but downgraded because of the collection ordeal. Update 01/04/22: Service very much improved over last visit, food great. Added one ⭐ back

hella mid. went w/ one of my g’s and they changed the whole menu up. increased the price but decreased the flavours dem - not adding up i won’t lie. first covid, then air forces being £100 and now this. idk what to do anymore

Really disappointed this is the second time we have ordered from here recently now the food is bland and tasteless Previously food was very nice.

Normally adore this place. I drive 20 mins to get it. But they’ve changed it :( the vegetarian toast was undercooked like soggy and got bits in it now? And the fried pepper salt chicken is just big lumps of slightly battered chewy chicken. Really disappointed but was still yummy I guess. Please change back:(😂

Disappointment, what a let down! Late service, overpriced menu. The portion is only suitable for kids. You can buy two portions of same food in a regular takeaway at one quarter of the time and price. I will not visit again and won’t recommend to anyone.

Changed buffet from order fresh to now just left buffet out on the side. The Food was cold and not the same standard as prior. I Used to always visit all the time now have been pushed back from returning again. My friend also had sickness and diarohea from the prawns was violently ill. Please go back to the old ways alot more better quality food and less waste.

16 people inside waiting for late orders. Ordered online waited 1h45min and when I went to collect it took 50min to get my order. Only time I've been outside 2 days later my track and trace went off.

I've used the New Mandarin since moving to Milton Keynes 19 years ago, and despite it not being my local Chinese restaurant anymore, it's worth travelling the 6 miles to pick up my orders. I have never had a bad meal from here, and the staff have always been polite

Very nice food. Catered for my friend who has special dietary requirements. Our only issue was that the menu items have no description on ingredients or any allergy symbols. Unfortunately, we chose a dish that unbeknown to us has prawns in. I have a prawn allergy & my friend does not eat prawns. On arrival, the dish was quickly taken away & replaced with a more suitable dish. We will definitely visit again.

COVID Precautions in place, with temperature taken and face mask essential before entry. 'As much as you like' menu quite steep, but the food quality is exceptional. Service from the staff was very good, the young lady was very attentive and helped us with our order. Not a great deal for vegetarian, but the food on offer was fantastic.

Came on the "Eat out to help out" night , very nice food but dissapointing that no seaweed or chips and PRAWN CRACKERS are an EXTRA charge , REALLY prawn CRACKERS!! Also on a normal night £22.00 a head !! That's seems much more than any OTHER Chinese,

Food was tasteless.service was slow. Manager was rude and abrupt. Would not recommend it. Prefer Shanghai house in stony Stratford or kam tong gardens at great holm. And especially voongs in bletchley.

Simply the best Chinese in Milton Keynes. Fantastic family run business, been there for 25+ years (no, the owners haven't changed!). Great staff, friendly atmosphere, and superb food. I genuinely love this place! Update: Still as good as always! Some bad reviews I see, but I would say that every Chinese takeaway is different, based (hopefully!) on family recipes, and their tastes vary accordingly. Also the staff are amazing, I've never found them anything other then helpful & friendly.

Looks like it's under new management. Food was ok nothing great but they should know how to talk to customers plus the waitress constantly watching you while you eat that put me off.
